“Yvonne was great with our dog Chopper. We couldn't take him with us for the holidays and after a desperate search for the right match, we chose to board him with Yvonne. We were quite anxious to leave him behind for a week but from the start Yvonne was very accommodating, reassuring and great at communicating before and during boarding plus she patiently guided us through our first experience with Rover. Yvonne's house is very clean, spacious and has an awesome enclosed yard and safe neighborhood for walks. He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

About: I've had pets ever since I was born so I have a lot of experience taking care of them! I've helped out neighbors walk their dogs often and always enjoy it! I've had a dog for 10 years so I know a dogs routine! I volunteered at Cove Animal Rescue taking care of cats for a few months (as well as the 2 I have at home!). I am currently a pet care specialist at Dan’s Pet Care so during the weekdays I will have clients between 10am-4pm but I will try my best to hopefully make myself available to be able to attend to your pets needs! About: I have owned pets since I was 4 years old. I have worked in the veterinary field since I was sixteen and am starting my 2nd year of veterinary school at Long Island University. Over the years I have pet sit for a total of 25 different dogs, 15 cats, a bearded dragon, a hamster, guinea pigs, and a turtle. I am able to medicate any dogs or cats, as well as give any injections needed (ex. insulin). I also have experience at a dog daycare where I was in charge of over 40 dogs of all sizes in one large yard together. I am currently working full time at UrgentVet and work second shift so I am available in the mornings or any time on my days off. When school starts at the end of August, I will be able to work around my class schedule and make adjustments as needed for your pet. I care for pets as if they are my own. I am currently volunteering at a food pantry, which allows me to structure my days in a way that can easily accommodate pet care visits, walks, or extended stays as needed. Because I don’t have fixed work hours, I’m able to be reliable for morning, midday, and evening check-ins, and I can adjust my availability based on client needs. My volunteer commitment is typically set and predictable, so it doesn’t interfere with scheduling pet care responsibilities. I’m also comfortable planning my week in advance to ensure I can consistently show up on time and give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Overall, pet care would fit in seamlessly with my current routine, and I have the flexibility to be dependable, responsive, and attentive to each pet’s schedule. I care for pets in my clients’ homes and during walks, and my main focus is always keeping them safe and comfortable while respecting the owner’s space. When I’m in someone’s home, I follow all instructions closely and try to keep things as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible so they feel relaxed and not stressed. During walks and drop-ins, I make sure pets are secure on their leash and always supervised. I pay attention to their behavior and surroundings to make sure they stay safe, especially around other animals, people, and traffic. I also know how important trust is when someone is letting you into their home and caring for their pet, so I’m reliable, communicate clearly, and can provide updates so owners feel at ease while they’re away.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my whole life! Due to my shift schedule as a nurse, I can’t get one of my own just yet! I go on walks a few times a day and would love to have a furry friend by my side during them I’m currently a registered nurse working 3 12-hour shifts. This leaves me home in the middle of the week when everyone else is at work! I have grown up surrounded by dogs and would be sure to make your pet feel comfortable and safe! About: Our pets change our lives for the better and I want to make sure they’re well taken care of too. By making connections via talking, playing, training, and grooming I pride myself in providing full care for my furry friends. I make training fun and learn their individual strengths! Pet care is an essential part in my daily routine. Each day begins by walking my pup, refreshing her water and food bowls. At the end of the day, I’m cleaning and prepping to start out routine over, putting toys away and doing our last walk of the night. I love taking my pups out downtown or to the dog park. If it’s dog-friendly, why aren’t we bringing the beans?! Everyone is always happy, fed, hydrated, and well played with. Pet hygiene and environmental cleanliness go hand in hand. I like to make sure I’m keeping my home clean for my pets. After all they play, lounge, and sleep in our home. The least we can do is make sure the space is free of dangerous objects or potential choking hazards. We also use pet gates in our home to ensure pet safety when cooking/cleaning/moving furniture.

“Yvonne was great with our dog Chopper. We couldn't take him with us for the holidays and after a desperate search for the right match, we chose to board him with Yvonne. We were quite anxious to leave him behind for a week but from the start Yvonne was very accommodating, reassuring and great at communicating before and during boarding plus she patiently guided us through our first experience with Rover. Yvonne's house is very clean, spacious and has an awesome enclosed yard and safe neighborhood for walks. Her lovely dog Ziggy kept Chopper company and overall the process felt like leaving our dog with a good friend. I can highly recommend trusting Yvonne with your dog.”
“Jordan is pleasant and responsive. Latke was returned happy and healthy. He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”
