About: We’re a work-from-home household, so your pup will always have company! I work from home full-time, and my husband is home two days a week, so someone will always be around to keep your dog happy and cared for. Our dog, Mutty, is very easygoing and tends to match the energy of other dogs. He loves to play, but if your pup isn’t interested (especially if they’re smaller or more low-key) he’s just as happy to relax by the window and watch the world go by. We love getting the dogs out for fresh air and exercise, so you can expect 40–90 minutes of walks each day. While we don’t have a backyard, we do have access to a quiet, usually empty dog park nearby for safe outdoor play if your pup needs to stretch their legs. We rarely need to separate dogs, but if play ever gets a little too rowdy, we’ll give them a short break. One will hang out in the office with me while the other relaxes in the main area, and then we switch. You’ll receive daily photo updates of your pup, and we’re always available to answer questions or provide extra updates while you’re away. About: Growing up, I was always interested in learning about different dog breeds and had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian. Though I did not become a veterinarian, I do have a solid background and understanding of animal healthcare and wellbeing thanks to my undergraduate studies (B.S. Zoology, some Animal Science) and ongoing interest in pet health and dog training. While still in high school, I worked briefly in a pet boarding facility where I prepared morning and evening meals, administered medications, and supervised outdoor play for large groups of dogs. From this experience supervising large groups of dogs, I became more familiar with canine body language and behavioral cues. My sheepadoodle, Ivy, came home to me at about 10 weeks old; so I did potty train and leash train her with positive reinforcement using her favorite treats. I also had the opportunity to foster a litter of 5 puppies in college and potty trained them as well. In addition to my experience with puppies, I have cared for a few senior pups including my brother’s aging border collie and pitbull mix and my late Great Boxer (Great Dane/boxer), Grover. In my experience caring for senior pups, I became familiar with the medical issues that come along with increasing age such as arthritis, incontinence, deafness/blindness, and even cancer to name a few. My own pups have also had sensitive skin, digestive issues, and recurrent ear infections. Managing these health issues at times required daily cleanings, ointment applications, and attention to ensure that wounds or infections healed without interference. I work part-time in a hospital lab, with a fixed schedule. I work 4 days in a row, then I am off for 10 days. When I am not working in the lab, I am at home caring for my two young children (ages 3 and almost 2) and 5 year-old sheepadoodle. We enjoy spending time outside in the backyard or going for walks around the neighborhood. Any dog that steps paw inside my home is treated like family. If your precious pup requires *special* treatment, I try my best to adhere to any instructions provided. I have a large crate, along with dog blankets, if your pup is into that sort of thing. It is spacious enough for any standard medium to large sized dog. I do have a decently sized backyard with 6 ft privacy fencing all around, and larger smooth rocks surrounding the grass. If your pup is not great with tiny humans, loud noises, or just the general chaos of a young family, please consider a sitter with a calmer environment that better meets their needs.

About: We can transport your furry friend(s) to my home and back to yours from 8:30a to 6:30p. I’ve owned at least one dog since I was 10 and loved everyone that has came into my life. From walking, to playing, to bathing (most of the time both of us by the end of it lol) it was a joy. I do have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies. I can administer oral medication. Currently I am staying at home full time as I just had my baby at the end of October ‘25. Have occasional doctors appointments during the week or random errands. There will be very limited time pups are left unattended. My husband also helps with the dogs and can sometimes take them to the dog park in Wellington or Ault. I have a new baby as of the end of October and have 2 female dogs in the home, one is 2.5 and the other is 13, the older one sticks to herself mostly but sometimes regulates the puppies and tells them to slow it down. Both are very well socialized and do not have any issues with other dogs. We can set up a time to do a meet and greet or work through a plan of separation (if necessary!! Normally it is not) which I have practiced and am set up for. I have my backyard spilt into 2 runs as well as an isolation pen. This is to help with any entrance excitement. If a dog is really pushy at the gate they’ll be put into a different section of fencing so they don’t push out. We have plenty of toys here, and ask that bones are not brought with to prevent any issues.
