About: I have had animals of all types since I was a kid. And I have 5 years of professional pet care experience. I have worked with any and all animal types, including the largest of dogs to the smallest of insects. I have experience working with senior and infant pets. You can rest easy while away from home knowing I am CPR, first aid and vaccine certified for canines and felines! I am big on sticking with home routine, so your pet can feel just as relaxed as you! I am currently hoping to go back to full time into pet care. Currently I am looking into going back to college, but I would not start until the fall. Pets in my care can be provided with whatever they need. I have other pets in the home including a dog and cat who can be kept separate from yours if needed. I can also assist with your training plan to be sure your pet stays sharp! I love coming up with at home enrichment for my pets and will be sure to provide your pet with mental stimulation as well. My apartment has a fenced in private dog park that can be used as a yard for your pet to stretch their legs. I will be sure your dogs are always leashed when outside the house to prevents accidents or escapes. Overall my goal is to build a safe and nurturing environment for your animals to play and relax!

“We had an unfortunate experience with another sitter and were super cautious using it again but Mariel absolutely exceeded our expectations. My dog is shy and takes awhile to warm up to people, however, my dog felt right at home with Mariel. She sent me pictures throughout the day (cause I'm needy and asked haha) And even brushed my dog for hours shedding a wig of hair off. I'm so glad we continued to use rover to find Mariel, I absolutely recommend her !”

About: Who wouldn't want to hang out with dogs all day. Just this furry best friend that wants nothing more than to be a part of whatever you might be doing. I've had experience with dogs ranging from toy breeds to very large breeds. Having had dogs my whole life, I've cared for puppies thru seniors. I am a trained vet tech, and am comfortable taking care of dogs with a variety needs. Special diets, administration of meds, all not a problem. I don't even mind the small guys with big attitude! I have a fairly flexible work schedule, leaving me available after 3:30pm Sunday-Wednesday. Thursday-Saturday is more or less anytime of the day until about 10 pm. When it comes to caring for pets in your home, I prefer to keep to the house rules already in place. If there is a behavior we are trying to change or reinforce, I would like to be fully aware. Thus way I can continue training I your absence. Other than that, expect me to spoil your fur friend. I have multiple dogs myself, and they are a part of my day. I would treat your dogs the same way.
