About: I am a dog owner who is 8 years and enjoy long walks and the dog parks! I am an active person so walks are great! I have the last week of June and all of August off, so my schedule is wide open! I can be available for most of the day. I can take your dog for a long walk or even on a run or I can take them to the dog park (Valley Street).

About: For many years I have provided compassionate care for dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Having had a rescue farm for 20 years, I have had the privilege of adopting and rescuing dogs, cats, sheep and goats and caring for each of them from homing to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. In addition to providing care for pets of all ages, I especially welcome the opportunity to care for senior pets making sure they receive the gentle attention, patience, and love they deserve in their golden years. I look forward to caring for your pet as you do! I have my own business and have the flexibility of being available to make time to take care of your family pet during the week or weekend. The earlier you can let me know works best but do feel free to reach out if you have an immediate need. Just let me know how and what you would like me to do to provide the care you need for your pet(s) in your home.

“Heather has been amazing with Penny!! Thanks so much.”

About: I have owned my own dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I don’t have any professional pet care experience but I am very compassionate and love spending time with dogs! I am an avid hiker and outdoor lover so dog walking is a perfect opportunity for me. I work full time from Tuesday to Sunday so the Monday and Sunday are best for me. Anytime of day will work! Early morning during the week may also work. I will find safe areas to walk your dog and always clean up after them. I will also bring water and a portable bowl for them to drink from.

“Dana replied to a very last minute message and walked Moose as far as he could handle in this heat! So thankful that she was around to take care of my anxious pup :)”

About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. Your pets will be treated with love, and be as comfortable in my home as yours. I always send lots of photos at the end of each day. 🐾 🐾 My daily schedule 🐾 🐾 I work from home as a university professor. My position is remote, so I am able to work anywhere with a wifi connection. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. My boyfriend is also very helpful with the dogs- if they are up for it, he will take them jogging every night.

“Haleigh is prompt and has great communication. My dog is enjoying his walks!”

“Taryn has been a blessing. Our bulldog, Tibbetts gets so excited when arrives and can't wait for her to take him for a walk. She is very dependable.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was a baby, my love for dogs carried over into adulthood so I like to dog sit/walk for family and friends when needed. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the week. My schedule is pretty open on weekdays, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for and spending time with your pup! I’m committed to providing a safe, loving environment tailored to your dog’s unique needs. I understand that every dog is different, so I’m always happy to adjust my care to fit their personality, preferences, and routine.

About: I’ve been talking care of all types of dogs since I was 10. Started small with just family and around the neighborhood but as I got older I’ve had many people ask for me to pet sit or just bring their dog for a walk. Give their animal some love! I’m currently working a part time job and enrolled in college for nursing so college breaks and holidays work best for me. Although, come summer I will be able to have more flexibility due to not being away at college. Always wanting to get exercise and play with animals so if walking your dog or checking in is what you need then I’m the perfect person for that. I have an invisible fence that my puppy Lola uses. She is super friendly but very vocal. I’m in a safe neighborhood where animals are well loved. My backyard is huge with lots of space to run and a great pool that my dog loves to swim in. If we are at your home then I will make sure I am aware of the surroundings before so I can best accommodate for the safety of both myself and the animals.

About: Taking care of my two rescue dogs is what I enjoy. One is now 10 years old, and the other 16 years old. I have taken care of many other families and friends pets as well. They have always been extremely pleased with care provided. I hope to one day open and operate my own non profit dog rescue. Schedule is wide open as I am in transition between careers! I like to stay physical by walking, going to the gym and enjoying the outdoors. I follow the pet’s routine given by the owner and add in some extra love and attention! I’ve always been a trustworthy person to have in your home and I’m very good with pets, even the difficult ones.

Danny P.
“Danny and I have been bringing our doggos to the same dog park for several years. He is always responsible, caring, respectful and observant; looking out not only for his own pooch, but also for others. It’s clear he understands dogs; being very patient with needs and is never harsh with corrections. Several regular dogs at the park even seek him out for affection and attention. I would highly recommend him for any dog-sitting service you may require.”

Lianne N.
“Lianne is the most caring and thoughtful pet sitter you could ever think of! She is great with our 2 cats, and her own dog too! Not only that, but she used to have her own farm and raised 3 dogs, sheep, goats, horses and more! She was also able to check on our 2 cats last minute when we needed her most. Incredibly reliable. If you need someone to watch your pets, Lianne is the right choice!”

Heather B.

Alexandra G.
“Alexandra is an amazing person. She is so caring to people and especially animals. I have never seen so much empathy in someone before and Alexandra is the perfect kind of person to love and care for your furr baby when you need her to. She's also very responsible and really makes sure she is doing everything right when it comes to work but also things she does for herself. I have no doubt in my mind that Alexandra would be the best fit to care for your dog and I think your dog would agree too once they meet her.”

Dana D.

“Dana replied to a very last minute message and walked Moose as far as he could handle in this heat! So thankful that she was around to take care of my anxious pup :)”

Dani B.

“Dani isn’t just a wonderful warm hearted animal lover, but she’s also a dog whisperer. She has hidden talents for teaching and training. She’ll lead your fur baby on an epic adventure of fun and play, AND have them knowing French commands by the end of the day. She’s got a heart of gold with a lifetime of accountability and experience. I wouldn’t be comfortable with just anyone watching my pup, but with Dani I’d lay my trust with to safely cross the country with my furry bestfriend safely and securely by her side. She’s a natural caregiver with a responsible and loving nature. Even if she’s within a 500 mile radius, it’s worth seeking her out for a doggone great adventure! :)”

“Vanesa is caring for my dog right now. My dog loves Vanesa. She’s a kind, caring human being. She’s very attentive to my dog Beauregard. She brushes him without being asked. She walks him more than I do. She feeds him religiously just as instructed. She is very trustworthy. I give her a key to my house when I’m away. She sleeps at my home when I am on vacation so Beau is not lonely. She has dog sat for me on dozens of occasions and there have been absolutely no mishaps. I give her the highest possible recommendation.”
