About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a girl and have become the person friends, family, and others in my community trust with their pets. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as cats with a wide range of personalities and needs. Beyond cats and dogs, I’ve also cared for an array of animals including: horses, chickens, fish, ferrets, hamsters, and other small pets. I’m comfortable administering medications and caring for senior animals or pets living with illness. I take the time to understand each animal’s routine, personality, and comfort level. I’m attentive, dependable, and respectful of both your pets and your home, and I’ll make sure you receive thoughtful updates while you’re away. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routine. If your pet has a specific schedule, just let me know and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent while you’re away. I’ll follow the routine and house rules you already have in place, including feeding instructions, medications, walks, crates, gates, and anything else your pet needs. I’m careful about doors, leashes, and introductions, and I’m always happy to ask questions if something isn’t clear. I’ll also keep you updated, respect your home, and leave things as clean as I found them.

About: I frequently petsit my friend dogs and cats when they are out of town. I grew up with dogs and really miss having one at home. I work full time and I would be a great fit if your critter is ok with being left alone while I work for about 8 hours. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of family and friends since I was in my teens, but more extensively in college and since. For 3 years I boarded and sat for three different family friends. I’ve personally helped raise 3 dogs and 2 cats. I’ve even helped herd sheep and tamed alpacas! I work nearly full-time as a server at a restaurant, so Wednesday to Saturday night I’m unavailable for somewhere between 6-9 hours on those days. When I have my off days I’m usually at home or out for a walk. I’m usually efficient with my errands and have extensive free time on off days. My apartment is a one bedroom, so if I’m not playing around the apartment with the pet, I’d want to bring them on a walk or to the park. I have a very comfortable bedroom conducive to nap time, and I live in the heart of Old Port. Whenever I am with pets in my house I am always looking to set up a cozy space for them to relax with blankets, pillows, their favorite toys. I try to make them feel like a proper guest in my home like anyone else. My apartment is always very quiet despite being downtown, but I would hope to find activities we could do in and around Portland to help keep them active and entertained.

About: I have been a loving dog owner since I was born and the type of person you will always find petting various animals. I have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was nearly 10 years old and love every minute of it! I currently work three long days a week at the hospital, which are different each week, which, for the most part means I’m only available for your animals on my days off. Special exceptions may be worked out during overnight stays where I have time before and after work. On the plus side, my days off are very flexible! As per your preferences and the animal’s specificities, I would make sure to keep up their daily routines as well as keep them fed, watered, clean, and happy!

About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. I’ve taken in strays and helped regime them or reunite them. I also took in and nursed back to health a kitty that I witnessed get hit by a car. Some special skills that I possess would be I’m very patient loving person who has a very big heart when it comes to animals and I can’t wait to have a future caring for them.
