I am patient and committed to maintaining your pet’s routine while you are away. I offer dog boarding, drop-in visits, and doggy daycare. I live in a country setting with a very large backyard that provides plenty of space for exercise, playtime, and potty breaks. I also have a beautiful walking trail and a 40 acre field directly off my backyard for dogs that love to run! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities! Since pet care is my full-time focus, I’m able to stay consistent with feeding times, potty breaks, and any special instructions. My schedule is built around the pets in my care, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and maintain each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at home. I have three small, friendly Chihuahuas and a cat. They’re all well behaved and have always done well with other animals. If needed, I can easily keep them on a separate floor to make sure visiting pets feel comfortable and have their own space.

About: My husband used to train in the canine unit so he’s definitely taught me a thing or two! I’ve had cats my whole life as well! I am patient and loving towards all living beings. I enjoy pet sitting & loving them when their families aren’t around. I am also a nanny and have cared for many pets through the families I’ve cared for. I am available for boarding & daycare Friday-Sundays. Sometimes I have more availability but not always. I am open to being flexible as much as I possibly can. I have a large yard, house is a decent size so pets can all enjoy their own personal space or cuddle together. I don’t have an extra crate but I’d be happy to set one up (must be provided by owner).

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.

About: I've had cats my whole life.. they make life better and it's a big responsibility as well. I have taken many older cats in from the shelter and they had great lives with us. Would love to babysit your kitty or dog. I have 3 cats in my home and I've had many kittens and elderly cats. We have a catio and many toys to entertain your kitty. Catio, toys, food and love! I can give meds as needed as well, or special foods. I can also go to your home for visits.

“We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!”

I understand different animals have different needs and routines. Here to help look after your animals for dog walks, drop in visits, potty breaks, babysitting! I currently work from home and can be fairly flexible and available for your pets needs. I can do early mornings, evenings and drop ins/walks during the day. As I have animals at home it will be best if I look after your pets in their own home. I walk my dog often and he loves other dogs so we would be happy to add another to our daily walk!
