“We booked Natalie for my elderly parent’s young beagle. It was their first time boarding a pet so they were nervous and didn’t quite understand the rules of drop-off & pick-up, etc. ( although I explained to them in detail) Natalie was understanding and responsive. She was kind and communicative, often sending several pictures and updates on their dog. Thank you, Natalie, for taking care of Schatzi and extending an extra day when we needed it. I know my mother was persistent with her constant messages, even when I kept assuring her the dog was fine & to leave you alone, lol! We appreciate your help!!!”

“Mariah, Kyle and family took good care of our 10 yr. old Portuguese Water Dog during our week long family vacation. They treated him like he was part of the family and he enjoyed being around their dog and another one they were also boarding. Having a fenced in yard was perfect for playing and getting exercise. They were easy to communicate with and wonderful about giving regular updates and sending photos.”

“Elisabeth makes Louise feel so welcome and at home. Louise is so excited to get out of the car there and I am so at ease knowing she is so well cared for. Highly highly recommend Elisabeth!”

“This is my first experience with Rover, I was very nervous leaving my boy with anyone new. Breanna kept in constant contact and provided pictures. I can tell just by them that Maverick had the best sleep over with her! He even met a new lady friend! I cannot recommend her enough and will absolutely be requesting her services again!”

“Marna did a fantastic job with our two senior chihuahuas. It was evident that they were happy and well cared for while they stayed with her. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone and would most definitely rebook in the future!”

“Neil and Abby were great. Good communication and our dog was very happy there - lots of good play time with their dog Molly. Would definitely have Delta board with them again in the future!”

“Alex had a great time with Kat and her family! She's prompt with texting and she also sent me updates and cute pictures of my dog cuddling with her dog! I would definitely recommend Kat and would book with her again!!”

“Kym and Robert have taken care of our dog, Rosie, multiple times over the last couple of years. They are reliable, caring, and keep us updated with photos and messages while we are away. Rosie is always happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we return home. It gives us real peace of mind knowing Rosie is in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Kym and Robert to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.”

“Could not recommend Christina more highly. She was incredibly responsive and communicative and treated my dog like her own. I will absolutely look to Christina for future stays.”

“Christine is a new favorite dogsitter! I left one of my dogs with her and her canine crew for five days—she came home happy, healthy, and tired after romping around the big fenced yard, dipping in the pool, and snoozing on the couch. Worry-free dogsitting from a true dog lover. Thanks, Christine!”

“Sri could not have cared for Murphy better! She sent us daily updates with photos and videos. They went on walks and played daily and it was evident that Sri loved Murphy as her own. We feel so lucky and greatly appreciate Sri!”

“Vicky was the best I could’ve hoped for. My dog was excited arriving into her home, and that’s not like her, she’s normally pretty nervous. Daphne was thrilled, and the photos and videos that followed showed that she was living the good life! Chillaxing and running=her happy life. Vicky lives in an amazing spot with trails in the forest that are dog heaven, I can only assume!!!”

“Viva once again provided a second home for our sweet boy. He trusts her implicitly as do we. She’s super conscientious about making sure he’s comfortable, active and well loved. And she always sends us the best photo updates!”

“Really satisfied. Cody and Cassidy are very warm, loving and friendly as well as their daughter. Good communication and photos were also sent. Would certainly recommend them and do it again. Thank you.”

“I have never had such a positive experience. My pup was unfortunately sick during the majority of his stay with Heidi and I was unable to pick him up. Fortunately for us, he was in the best hands possible. Not only did she keep us informed constantly and ask for our opinion on how to take care of him best, but she even went out of her way to feed him a special diet that would best suit his sick tummy. I can’t recommend Heidi enough with your pets.”

“We were thrilled by how graciously Molly welcomed our two dogs. She kept us updated throughout the stay and manages to maintain a spotless fun house and yard for her guests. Great setting and thoughtful communication!”

“Kourtney was an excellent sitter! We had to modify our reservation a couple of times, and she was incredibly flexible with us. She is a wonderful communicator and left thorough updates every day about our cats. She even went above and beyond by shoveling our front walkway after a heavy storm! On top of that, she’s a lovely person and made sure to say hi to us when we saw her at breakfast before our booking! We would absolutely rebook with Kourtney.”
“Best sitter I can ever ask for. Samantha took great care of my 3 kitties again! She feeds them, play with them, refill water, clean litter boxes, and keeps me in the loop with everything going on with my fur babies and even bring home my mails. 😭 She is simply the best!”

“Yesenia was wonderful with our dog. We used her for check ins. She made the time to come over prior for a meet and greet, and gave thorough updates (and asked appropriate questions) while we were away. It was our first time trying Rover and it went great. We would definitely work with her again.”

“Words cannot adequately capture how superb James was. I had so much anxiety leaving my babies to take a vacation, but it’s clear I had nothing to worry about with James. He was kind, caring, and attentive to the intricacies of managing my four pets. I’ve had a lot of people pet sit in the past, including friends and family, but nobody has done it better than James. I cannot recommend him highly enough!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life—growing up in a pet-loving home taught me how to care for animals with love and patience. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society, where I gained hands-on experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and coworkers, providing everything from walks to overnight care. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own. I work a sales job Monday–Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to around 4:30 PM, and I travel locally (within an hour). I always make sure I’m available before accepting any bookings, so your pet’s care will never be compromised. I’m available for evening walks during the week, and I’m open to overnight house sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I’m very aware of my surroundings and always prioritize your pet’s safety, whether we’re out walking or relaxing at home. I’m great at reading animals’ energy and body language, which helps me respond calmly and confidently in any situation. I follow any instructions carefully and always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable.
“Craig & Chelsea were extremely thorough in their care for our kitty over the four days we were gone. They went through all the details of the care instructions we left for them and made sure they knew what we expected. Everything was done expertly and we had complete confidence our kitty was being well taken care of. Craig was easy to talk to during our meet and greet session and gave long, thorough descriptions of each drop-in visit. He always included many pictures of our kitty at each visit. We enjoyed reading the updates and viewing the pictures. Thank you again Craig! If we need another pet sitter, we will be sure to book Craig and Chelsea again!”

“Abby does an amazing job taking care of our fur babies! I appreciate the pictures she sends from her visits. She even managed to get a pic of our super shy cat! I happily recommend Abby if you’re looking for a sitter.”

“Jonathan was a great pet-sitter. He was timely and attentive to our pets for the weekend we were out of town recently. We didn't have to worry about our animals being lonely, particularly our geriatric dog, Petey. We highly recommend him to anyone who needs pet care!”

“Haleigh is amazing! This is the second time we used her to check on our kitties and she was just as amazing and reliable as the first time! We will definitely be using her again. About: I have had cats my entire life and would love to drop in and visit your kitty! I currently have a Maine coon named Franklin who keeps me on my toes! I have no problem helping out with cat litter, playing, food and water, or just giving them some extra love while you’re away!

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and have regularly helped family and friends by checking in on their pets while they’re away. I know how important it is to have someone dependable looking after your cat, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I also make sure your cat gets attention and playtime, and I’m happy to brush them if they enjoy it. Since every cat has their own personality and preferences, I welcome detailed notes so I can provide the best care possible. I’ve cared for cats of all ages, from young kittens to older cats, and I’ve grown up with cats my entire life. I currently have a 10-month-old cat of my own, which helps me understand just how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care.

“Isabelle took excellent care of our two Corgi boys while we were on an extended trip of 11 days. We were nervous about leaving them for such a long time, but from the first moments of our meet and great, it was clear that Isabelle was a perfect match for them. The boys connected with her immediately and it was obvious that she is experienced in both drop-in visits and extended care. She is a very thoughtful and capable sitter, who sends regular updates with adorable photos, and we really appreciated her timely replies to our texts. We never worried about our pups while they were in Isabelle's care and when we returned, our boys were relaxed and happy. I highly recommend Isabelle for both drop-in visits and long-term care, and we look forward to bringing her back to care for our boys sometime soon.”

“Elizabeth amazing! Lots of pictures and great communication. You can tell she really loves caring for doggos and treated my little guy like he was her own. Pretty sure my dog was little sad to have to come back home to me. Ha! Will be using her again!”

“Natalie watched our 13 week old puppy and she had an amazing day! Great care with the added bonus of so much socialization. Our puppy had a fantastic time and passed out on the ride home. Five stars is not enough!”

About: My husband used to train in the canine unit so he’s definitely taught me a thing or two! I’ve had cats my whole life as well! I am patient and loving towards all living beings. I enjoy pet sitting & loving them when their families aren’t around. I am also a nanny and have cared for many pets through the families I’ve cared for. I am available for boarding & daycare Friday-Sundays. Sometimes I have more availability but not always. I am open to being flexible as much as I possibly can. “Absolutely wonderful pet sitter. Marna was calm and patient with our little chihuahua, Miika. Miika was happy and relaxed when she was picked up. I highly recommend Marna and will definitely be using her services again.”

If needed, I can easily keep them on a separate floor to make sure visiting pets feel comfortable and have their own space.
“Lindsay was great! She gave us tips on where to find vegan food, where we could park our RV as we were going on a whale watching tour. She took Maddie for walks and sent us pictures. Maddie was very comfortable with Lindsay. Lindsay was always quick to answer when we had questions. We highly recommend her.”
“Jackie did a wonderful job. She was honest with her appraisal of Mortys ability to be with other dogs at this time. Our pup has some anxiety issues and only spends his time in our home with our other dog. Jackie also provided us with some alternative sitters and trainers. All in all a good experience.”

“Chelsea has been watching my brand new pup for a couple of days while I am at work and when I come to pick him up he wants to stay and play! She has kept me updated throughout the day which I so appreciate!”

“Alma is amazing with my (initially) timid pup, Gambler! He warmed up to her quickly, and he had a great time playing with her dog and going for pack walks in the neighborhood. I got pictures and updates throughout the day, which made me feel comfortable and reassured that he was adjusting to the new environment. He always comes home happy and tired, which is perfect!”

About: Longtime dog lover and owner, current parent of a 9-year-old Siberian Husky service dog whom I trained to myself. I love dogs of all sizes and shapes and personalities and I can't wait to meet all the wonderful furkids that I'll be looking after in the future. I'm always telling people "I may have trouble remembering your name, but I will always remember your pet's name." Though I am small in stature I'm actually quite strong and can handle large/muscular dogs (and the occasional feral cat when necessary), because I just know how to move with them/guide them. I'm also not intimidated by aggressive behavior in animals, nor do I meet it with aggression in return. I always try to calm the animal and figure out the issue, putting myself between them and anyone/anything that might upset them further. I have a personality/presence that dogs seem to love, from the timid to the social, the calm to the active. I'm a fast walker, so your dog will certainly get a workout they'll love as they keep pace with me, but I can also meander when needed for the older dogs and fumbling puppies. I have experience doing basic grooming for dogs: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, clipping nails, trimming the fur between pawpads, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for dogs. I know snake pet care as well, so feel free to inquire if you need someone to look after your danger noodle! Pet care is my primary work focus right now as I work through completing my online schooling towards getting my degree and Vet Tech licence. I have a backyard for your dog to play in alongside my very friendly Husky. It's not fenced in, but I keep a spare long-lead on-hand, same kind as I use for my girl, for guest dogs. If your dog is an especially strong one please let me know and I'll make sure to have an lead appropriate for your dogs weight strength available. Inside the house is dog-friendly and spacious, and I can crate your dog if needed. My dog is allowed on the couch and my bed, so do let me know if those are no-go areas for your dog. If your cat likes outside time I can provide walks and/or put them out in the backyard on the spare long-lead.
About: I have been the go to dog sitter for my friends and family for years. I am experienced with small/medium sized dogs of all ages. I'm very flexible and will do my best to accommodate special requests that are within my skill set. I also like to form long term relationships with pets and their families to ensure consistent care and the best experience for all involved. I am currently available 24/7 for my dog, we like to go to the beach, walks in the woods, naps and daily training exercises. I am flexible to work with your dogs needs and schedules! I'm happy to accommodate to the best of my capabilities the care and routines to which your pets are accustomed. Feeding, walks, meds, certain special care and sleeping arrangements will all be tailored to your pets needs to ensure the least stressful experience for your four legged friends!

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.
“Lauren was great!!! She was so patient and loving with Ren and gave lots of love to PJ. She did so much with the dogs. I would definitely recommend her and call her again if I am in the area. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my babies.”

About: I’m a reliable Portland dog walker with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I genuinely enjoy working with dogs and building trust with each one, and I’m patient and calm with dogs that need a little extra time or attention. I provide safe, fun, and structured walks and am very comfortable handling multiple dogs while making sure each one gets the attention they need. My goal is always to keep your dog happy, exercised, and safe. You’ll receive updates and photos after every walk so you know exactly how things went. I’d love to meet your dog! I have a fully flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day to walk, feed, and spend quality time with pets, adjusting my hours to meet their needs. I’m passionate about caring for dogs and can dedicate the time needed to keep them happy, safe, and loved! I own two Italian Greyhounds whom are very friendly and cuddly, and my home has a fenced-in yard where we love to play. We take daily walks on the local trails, and visiting dogs are welcome on the furniture. When it comes to bed time, we have cozy beds in every room. I have one younger child who is great with dogs so there will be lots of love going around for your pet!
“Emilia took great care of my dog Louie who is a bit nervous around new people. Communication was great and I could tell my little guy felt very comfortable with her. Would 10/10 recommend!”

“We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!”

About: I've been a small animal veterinary technician for more than 10 years. My specialty is senior care, including managing cats or dogs with diabetes or kidney disease. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. I am also an experienced horse owner. I am currently working part-time, and can easily fit in visits to your furry friends. I am based out of Gray and will travel within 30-45 minutes of my home. I can also provide over-night care as well. For home visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, if not longer. During that time I will play with them, take them for walks (if canine), or sit quietly if a kitty or older canine prefers. I will feed, ensure they have fresh, clean water, and maintain litter boxes if feline.

About: I have loved being with my dog Boomer for almost 5 years now, from 7.5 weeks on. I also handled my family dogs on numerous occasions. I am currently in between jobs, so my entire schedule is molded around being available for a pet at anytime. I understand the need to have someone as devoted to their pet as I am. My schedule is very flexible. I have a friendly dog named Boomer, he is almost 5 and loves to go on adventures. Living here in Yarmouth gives me almost immediate access to many parks, trails and dog parks for our pets to go romp around in.
About: I’ve been talking care of all types of dogs since I was 10. Started small with just family and around the neighborhood but as I got older I’ve had many people ask for me to pet sit or just bring their dog for a walk. Give their animal some love! I’m currently working a part time job and enrolled in college for nursing so college breaks and holidays work best for me. Although, come summer I will be able to have more flexibility due to not being away at college. Always wanting to get exercise and play with animals so if walking your dog or checking in is what you need then I’m the perfect person for that. I have an invisible fence that my puppy Lola uses. She is super friendly but very vocal. I’m in a safe neighborhood where animals are well loved. My backyard is huge with lots of space to run and a great pool that my dog loves to swim in. If we are at your home then I will make sure I am aware of the surroundings before so I can best accommodate for the safety of both myself and the animals.

“Johnathan took great care of our two Corgis in our home while we were out of town for a week. He is responsible, trustworthy with great communication and we knew our boys were in good hands. We received daily reports with daytime and evening photos, and immediate replies to our texts. We returned home to two happy and well-cared-for dogs. Johnathan is very conscientious and I recommend him without hesitation. We look forward to using him again.”

“Could not recommend Christina more highly. She was incredibly responsive and communicative and treated my dog like her own. I will absolutely look to Christina for future stays.”

“Natalie went out of her way to make Brutus feel at home. I was very impressed from the start, she talked with us and let our pup feel out the area while we confirmed specific details regarding Brutus which was such a comfort. He's a big cuddle bug and we gave her some of his favorite treats and she sent pictures of him enjoying them. When we picked up Brutus a couple days later he was exactly himself and did not have any decrease in appetite which we've experienced before. I will definitely be using Natalie as a pet sitter in the future, and cannot express how thankful I am for the care she provided.”

About: I recently lost my 14 y/o Coonhound (Jazzy) She was the bestest girl in the world, and the best friend anyone could ask for. I am not ready for another dog just yet, but I would love to have another heartbeat in the house. My schedule is very flexible, in the event that I have to run some errands, I am happy to take your dog for a car ride with me. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard and in close proximity to trails for long walks that I often frequent. Also, I could not be happier to have your dog hang out on the couch with me while I read or work from home.
“Christina was great! She communicated promptly and sent updates/pics of my dog, Quinn. Quinn is a nervous little girl, she usually only stays with friends and family, and Christina made sure she was given time and space to warm up to her and the other dog friends. Quinn loved the big fenced in yard and had a great weekend!”

“Molly and her family took great care of our three pups, especially taking them on plenty of walks. Communication was a breeze and they were flexible about pick-up and drop-off times.”
“Alma took such good care of our pup while we were away for the weekend! He got lots of exercise and had so much fun playing with Birdie. Alma had a great setup at home and her communication was top notch.”
