About: I have always gotten even the most skittish or aggressive animals to feel comfortable around me. I pick up on the animal's vibe and let them come to me once they feel comfortable. I have mostly owned and cared for smaller dogs in the past but I also have no problem with large animals. The biggest dog that I have cared for was a 180 lb bull mastiff. I have a serious soft-spot for dogs and I have noticed they seem to have a soft-spot for me too! I’ve had exotic pets and cared for other’s too. I have cared for multiple pets at once, and have owned multiple pets at once since I can even remember! I am very comfortable with animals, big or small, even scaley ones ;) I have a very flexible schedule and currently only have a time commitment on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I expect to get a PT job soon and will update my availability accordingly. I always check in with the pets parents to find out the pets favorite places or where they are not allowed to go and figure out where I fit in to make sure that the pet feels the most comfortable with me in their space.
About: I understand what it’s like to leave your pet alone with a stranger and I will make sure it is as if you never left! I have owned many different types of pets myself including dogs, cats, rabbits, and Guinea pigs. Animals seem to naturally gravitate towards me and I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals. I am experienced with puppies as well as elderly dogs. I love showing families pics and videos of their pets while they’re gone to keep them updated! I am available weekday afternoons and some weekends. Monday, Wed, Friday after 3pm and T Th at 5pm. On weekends, I just need a 3 day heads up! I like to make sure the pet feels loved and safe first and foremost and I make sure to keep great communication with the client! I am very adamant on making sure all the necessary tasks are completed as well.
“David is an incredible sitter! He connected with all four (yes, FOUR) of my animals (3 cats + 1dog) while we were away. He provided frequent updates with pictures and didn’t hesitate asking questions. David offers a calm energy, is completely attentive, enjoys playing and connecting with each animal and bonded with them so effortlessly - he is amazing! Thank you, David, for taking such incredible care of our fur-family!”

“Richard was on time, he was great with my dog. He even walked him, I appreciate that a lot as it wasn't a requirement.. Thankyou for being so great..I'd definitely ask them to watch Hammy again. Susannah was not feeling well today so we didn't get to meet her this time..”

“I've been using the same pet sitter for years, and recently needed them for a last-minute trip away. They weren't available, so I scrambled to find a replacement, and Clare answered my request on Rover. She came by as scheduled for a meet-and-greet with my 2 senior doggies (Mr. Bean and Penny Too) and my kitty Jondo, and they hit it off immediately. I walked Clare through their complex care instructions, and felt very comfortable leaving them with her. She took great care of my fur babies (as she calls them), and sent me several sweet photos while I was away. All went very well, and they've requested Clare stay again, which is already on the books. Clare is a true animal lover and excellent care-giver for my clan. She's a great find...I highly recommend her!”

“Kora was great watching our two dogs. The house was clean when we got back and the we could tell the dogs had a great time. Would highly recommend and we plan on having Kora back to watch our dogs again.”

“Kat was amazing with our pup and so respectful of our home! She is organized, professional and super caring. It made our weekend away super easy knowing our house and dog were well taken care of. Thank you, Kat!!”

“I’m so grateful for the wonderful care Lindsay provided to both my home and my dog while I was away. She was attentive, responsible, and provided thoughtful updates to give me peace of mind. It was such a relief to return to a happy pup and a tidy home. Thank you for doing such a great job!”

About: As a passionate animal lover, what sets me apart from other sitters is my deep understanding of and commitment to the well-being of pets. Additionally, I have a special affinity for senior pets, ensuring they receive the gentle care and attention they need. My skills also include recognizing and responding to different temperaments and health needs, creating a comfortable and safe environment for all pets in my care. Whether it's administering medication, providing extra cuddles, or tailoring activities based on their age and energy levels, I prioritize their happiness and health above all. Your furry family members will be in loving hands with me! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. And this is the job I chose to make a living from. I love it very much Caring for pets in a home, whether it's your own or a client's, involves several key responsibilities that can vary depending on the type of service offered. Here are some general practices: Feeding: Ensure pets are fed a balanced diet appropriate for their age, size, and dietary restrictions. This may include providing fresh water and following specific feeding schedules. Exercise: Provide regular physical activity based on the pet's needs, which may involve walks, playtime, or engaging in activities that stimulate them mentally and physically. Grooming: Regular grooming is essential, including brushing fur, trimming nails, and maintaining hygiene to keep pets comfortable and healthy. Health Care: Monitor for any signs of illness, provide medication as needed, and keep up with veterinary appointments for vaccinations and check-ups. Safety: Create a safe environment by removing hazards (like toxic plants or small objects) and ensuring the pet has secure access to appropriate spaces.
“Pat stepped in and coordinated a smooth transition of care with my previous cat sitter when I was stranded and unable to return home in time. She went above and beyond to work with me to make sure my cat was cared for and not left alone, and offered extra time with my cat, support, and reassurance when I was panicked and stuck a second time at the airport. So grateful for her care, highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with pets and love pet sitting. I have years of experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and more. Very flexible schedule! I have a very free schedule and would be happy to work at any time. Would be fine with overnight stays . Just reach out! I will always respect your home and make sure to keep things neat and tidy. I live in a home with a backyard with space for pets to run and play.
About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. I’m comfortable with the extra structure and patience they often need. I’m also careful and consistent with medications, and I follow detailed feeding instructions exactly, including timing, special diets, and any restrictions. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I notice when a dog is unsure, overstimulated, tired, or asking for space, and I adjust right away, slowing down, giving them time, offering reassurance, or keeping things calm and predictable. I also use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, and patience. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!
“We feel like we lucked out asking Jodi to watch our dogs! She is a true professional along with being a sweet and kind person who clearly loves the opportunity to spend time with dogs and not just be there and feed them and let them outside when needed. We felt very comfortable leaving our 3 beloved dogs and home in her care, which is not something you normally feel when first meeting someone, but she is who she is and is a genuinely good person. Great super fast communication, early despite road closures due to flooding and even sent photos of the happy pups. We look forward to seeing her again! Highly recommend! Thanks for everything, Jodi!!”

“Mariia and Ethan were great! Excellent communicators, happy and well exercised pup and a clean house upon return. You couldn’t ask for anything more. They are responsive and responsible. We will be using them again!”

About: To ensure your pet receives individualized attention, we host only one dog at a time. We’re a good fit for dogs who are over 1 year old, 15 lbs or more, spayed/neutered, fully potty trained, and happy sleeping solo (no human beds or bedrooms). These basics help keep the vacation smooth for everyone. Pick up/drop off: 6:00am - 7:00pm. We live with a wonderful Lab named Lincoln (no current job). We are able to do walks (and runs!) through the Watershed, Deer Park, Headlands and love to take photos. For longer stays, we do field trips (including a secret dog pool in Petaluma 🤫). We try to switch each day up to provide variety. Backyard with plenty of room and recently installed dog run. Fenced from road. Also a hammock should our guest prefer a more leisurely day. ;)
“Lucy was so great! We had a last-minute request that she was able to accommodate, she was great at communicating and sent us cute pics of our pup Capri, and Capri loved her! Would definitely book again (:”
