About: I’ve worked with many different animals, including cats, dogs, birds, hamsters. I love working and caring for them. Patience is needed to make your furry friends feel comfortable. I’ve worked with many large dog breeds, which include malamutes, German shepherds, pitbulls and even Akita’s. I’m currently work during the day so I am free most evenings Sunday through Thursday. I have more availability on Fridays and Saturdays during the day. I make sure the pets are in safe areas for them so that they don’t get into anything that isn’t safe. About: We only take 1 dog to be cared for at a time with our small family & havapoo Ollie. I work from home during the week so there is lots of time for cuddles and walking. My teen is eager to help! I work from home full-time, so provide cuddles, attention and lots of walks. In the evenings our family of 3 + havapoo Ollie will care for your fur baby just like ours We can follow whatever protocols you would like for your pup. We have a fenced in deck and provide plenty of walking and exercise at the open field down the hill if your pup is up for it.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for most of my life, and always loved animals. I just lost my dog Jessie, and love to spend more time with other dogs. I’m home a lot and love to take care of other dogs. About: Animals have always been an immovable part of my life. I grew up on a small goat farm in northern california surrounded by llamas, ducks, geese, 3 beautiful cats, 6 dogs, and of course, goats. Through life on a farm, I have developed an immense love of all creatures, furred, feathered, and scaled. I have also had lots of experience caring for sick and injured animals. I have volunteered with both wild animals rescues, and the humane society. I'm currently in school, so my schedule allows me time in both the mornings and evenings to spend time with your wonderful pets. My weekends are also free. House sitting is my specialty as I do not have too many pet responsibilities at home, giving me more time at yours! I’ve grown up around big dogs, old dogs and cats, and special needs animals, so i’m used to an array of care requirements. “We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Jill! She was absolutely outstanding with our two rescue dogs, Claude and Clementine. This was our first time leaving them for an extended period of time, so naturally, we were incredibly nervous. From the moment we met Jill, though, we knew they were in the best possible hands. During our meet-and-greet, both dogs felt comfortable enough to climb right into her lap, which was a huge testament to how naturally they connected with her. It is so obvious that Jill has a true gift when it comes to animals. She welcomed Claude and Clementine into her home with so much love, patience, and warmth and treated them like they were part of her own family. She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable, keeping them entertained with walks, playtime, trips to the park, and plenty of love and attention. Jill was also incredibly communicative throughout their stay. She consistently sent us the sweetest pictures and updates, which made being away from them so much easier. She was incredibly patient as they settled into a new environment and clearly took the time to understand their individual personalities and needs. On top of being amazing with our dogs, Jill was extremely accommodating and flexible with our travel plans, which we appreciated more than we can say. We never once had to worry about whether Claude and Clementine were happy, safe, or well cared for — we knew they were having the time of their lives! About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!
