“Mattison was a great dog sitter! She met us at the park for a meet and greet in advance and took good care of the girls while she had them, even though it sounds like my girls kept her on her toes (sorry Mattison)!”

“I came in from out of town and needed a someone to watch my dog while I was away on retreat. Hannah did an amazing dog watching my dog. I was kept up to date and knew that my dog was getting good attention, exercise and care. If I lived in the area I would use Hannah for my dog boarding needs as she is very knowledgeable and skilled. This is clearly her profession and not just way to make extra cash. Thanks Hannah for your expert care of my dog!”

“We loved having our pups stay with Naseeha and would definitely have her watch them again! Our two goldens stayed here for our wedding in Sedona and we had absolute peace knowing they were being well taken care of. They got two walks a day and use of their backyard, as well as plenty of attention, care and puppy snuggles. We received photos and updates regularly and there was overall great communication during both drop off and pick up. We couldn’t say enough great things about booking with Naseeha and definitely recommend her! We will for sure utilize her when we come to Sedona again and now feel totally comfortable bringing our pups with us knowing they have a place that will treat them like family!”

“Kayla was incredibly flexible allowing us to come and get Nova many times for hikes throughout her stay! She was great at communicating and took amazing care of Nova! Nova loved her so much she would run back to Kayla when we dropped her back with Kayla after our day adventures! Nova got to hang out with her pups at the dog park and enjoyed her stay! Thank you 🩷”

“Vlad is a great pet sitter. He takes the dogs out and about to the Creek , dog park and even socializing at local Coffee shops. You need to let him know about any behavioral issues your dogs may have to keep them safe. He was flexible with my changing times and was there for me and my pups during a family event to care for my dogs. I will most definitely use Vlad in the future.”

I always choose Natalie to take care of Miso The Adventure Cat and Charlie Python when I travel for work. She boards them at her house because I am a full-time RVer. She is attentive and caring, and always prioritizes her furry and scaly guests even though she has cats of her own. Highly recommended!
Wish I could give six stars Super sweet and took great care of my pup. She left tired and satisfied. He also somehow got my dog that has never pooped on leash with me before to poop on leash. I texted and checked in occasionally and he responded within a good timeframe each time however, I do wish that he would’ve checked in with me or sent pics without me asking.

Emily was WONDERFUL!! As a first time cat mom, I had so much worry for my 7 mo orange kitten (he’s insane obvi) but emily not only treated him wonderfully, she also made sure to send me pictures and updates and took all of his little quirks into consideration! she’s extremely communicative and responds extremely quickly as well! I would recommend her to everyone!!

Lynae stayed with my dog and cat for a week. Both were happy when I returned home and the house was neat and clean. I would have liked more pictures and texts throughout the week with just a general update because dog moms like that, but otherwise she was outstanding!
Rebecca is my #1 Go-To dogsitter in town. She’s truly fantastic, very knowledgeable and kind. I have a 14 year old very small chihuahua rescue who is often fearful of new people and gets bad separation anxiety, but every time I pick him up after staying with Rebecca he acts like he just had the best time ever. Her yard is great and my dog loves hanging out with her and her dogs. She has been available every time I’ve needed care, truly a lifesaver and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for care.

I literally can’t put into words how pleased I am with Amayah! I have had many dog sitters over the past few years as I travel frequently and she is by far my favorite. She sent me photos and videos daily and was extremely patient with my older dog that can be a little difficult until she gets comfortable. She asked questions if she was unsure about anything and did everything she could to make my dogs feel at home. Amayah is very responsive, polite, and an obvious animal lover. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Thank you so much for taking such excellent care of my pups!💖💖💖

Paige was wonderful with our golden retriever! We were in town for a trip and were not staying somewhere pet friendly. Paige made sure our girl got lots of walks and attention and let us come pick her up whenever we could during our trip. She was excellent with communication and every time we brought our pup back she was so happy to see Paige! We will definitely be reaching out to her the next time we need a sitter!

This was the second time our boys stayed with Morgan and they were well taken care of! Our dogs have high energy and require a lot of entertainment but Morgan handled them like a pro. He also sent us photos and videos during their stay. We highly recommend Morgan and will use him for future stays.

Will is a fantastic sitter! Our girl is sweet but very anxious, and she fit into his family (including 2 cats) very quickly. I could tell from the photos he sent that she was at ease and well cared for. Will is a gentle soul and very good with animals. He is super responsive, kind, and accommodating!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
