“Bonita was such a treasure of a find. I was so anxious about leaving our little Bodi at a boarding facility. No matter how hard I looked, I could not find one that met all my desires for our dog. I wanted, so badly, for him to feel safe and comfortable, attended to and at home. I finally came across Rover online. This was our first time using Rover and Bonita was absolutely amazing. Her home is such a warm and inviting place and so safe for dogs to stay. Bonita does some volunteer work but is retired and spends much of her time at home. So she is able to be very attentive to the dogs throughout the day. She was intentional about being at her home the day when we dropped Bodi off just so that she could help him feel acclimated to his new vacation home. Bonita sent pictures and updates while we were away (for a week), which gave us such a peace and joy to know he was happy and cared for so exceptionally. I would absolutely recommend Bonita to anyone looking for an amazing care lodging for your pet while you’re out of town for either a short or long-term stay. I would encourage you to consider leaving a tip, because her prices and service simply can NOT be matched. ???”

“Mitch, his wife, and his pup Shelby were amazing! I felt very comfortable leaving Tuna with them. I think she had a little mini vacation. Lots of walks and playing. I got lots of photos and messages from Mitch. Two things Mitch does that not many others do: 1. Mitch let my dog sleep in their bed. 2. Mitch only takes 1 dog at a time. I felt comfortable knowing that my dog would not be around any not so nice dogs. I would highly recommend Mitch. I would not hesitate to use him again. My dog came home happy and healthy.”

About: Hi! I’m Katie, and caring for animals has always been one of my favorite things. I know how much our pets mean to us because mine truly are family. At home, I have three furry best friends: Winnie, my playful mini Goldendoodle, Frankie, my sweet Australian Shepherd/Husky mix, and Elliott, my lovable white cat. They’ve taught me that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and way of feeling safe and loved. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, snuggles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog, and my goal is to make both you and your pup feel completely comfortable while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, safe, and being treated like part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your best friend and give them a home away from home! I’m a hybrid worker spending only 4 hours a day in office! While away, dogs will have access to a fenced yard and inside my home as I have a doggie door! I have two dogs and a cat that are incredibly loving and will keep your fur baby company while you are away. I am a homebody to my core so will be giving your dog ample love and attention. About: I grew up with 3 yellow labs, which were treated as my siblings. Later, my husband and I became a dog parents to a beautiful boxer mix for 10 precious years. I work full-time in an office. Pet care would mostly take place on weekends, but there is some availability before or after work during the week. I have a fully fenced yard on an acre lot so there’s plenty of room to play and/or relax to cater to the needs of each dog.
