About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and parakeets, and my mom bred and showed dogs, so I learned early how important patience, consistency, and attentive care are for every pet’s personality and needs. As an adult, I’ve primarily cared for cats and currently have a diabetic cat of my own. I’m very experienced with glucose testing and monitoring, administering insulin injections, recognizing and managing hypoglycemic events, and giving calm, compassionate care to pets with medical needs. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets because I’m dependable, observant, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m recently retired, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. While I do travel occasionally, my trips are planned well in advance and I keep my calendar updated. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walking, and I enjoy helping pets stay comfortable in their normal routine and environment while their owners are away. I only provide care in the client’s home because I believe many pets feel safest and least stressed in familiar surroundings. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, and comfort needs so I can provide calm, reliable care while you’re away. I’m especially experienced with cats and pets requiring medical attention, including diabetic care, glucose monitoring, insulin injections, and recognizing signs of hypoglycemia. About: I have been obsessed with dogs all my life but I love and care about all animals. When I was a kid I used to go to my neighbors and ask them to take their dog out for a walk just because I loved it so much. I grew up with pets - from a cat, to hamsters, to a dog. Until recently, I lived with a roommate with two pit bulls. I used to care for them every time she was out - I fed them, took them out and walked them as well. We loved each other so much that they would come to my room to chill with me even when she was home!! In 2023 I adopted a dog myself (the sweetest pit bull) and I currently live with my boyfriend, who has a cat that I take care of on the daily. I am currently working full time. I work Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00 pm so I am available every other time! I am available all day Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately, I don’t offer house-sitting services at the moment. However, I am available for drop-ins or walks and can go anywhere in the Newark/Snow Hill/Berlin area (if you live further you can still reach out to me and I may be able to do it depending on my schedule). I can feed your baby, take them for a walk or even just keep them company! I follow the owner's instructions to a T. I’m always punctual, and I write my report cards the way I’d want to receive one—full of details and lots of pictures!!

Think about this summer when you are out having fun and have to rush home to feed or walk your pet. I don't overnight in my home or yours because I have four animals of my own. Sorry. I’m retired and have a very flexible schedule. Most any time of day . Night time in a well lit area is preferred for me I don't overnight here or at you home as I have to be here for my own pets. But I can spend the day .

About: I have always had pets in life (dogs, cats, rabbit, hamsters, fish) and even adopted a dog to live with me when I was in college. The majority of my experience is with dogs and it spans all sizes and breads (from an 8-pound Maltese to a 70+ pound American Staffordshire Terrier). About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. In my household growing up we had three dogs. I have always been around dogs and know how to interact with and play with them. I recently got my own puppy, and have been taking care of him as well.
