We were really apprehensive about leaving her alone for 11 days and this was a last minute request as we had planned to board her but later realized we just couldn’t put her through that. Melanie was patient with her and won her affection even though Lily is a bit stand off ish. We loved the notices twice a day when she was starting and finishing her visits and the cute pictures helped to ease our mind . It was also very helpful that there was someone in our home and could alert us to any problems, which we’re happy to say there weren’t any. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation to Yellowstone knowing that Lily was in good hands. You can tell Melanie loves animals and we trusted her explicitly. I will definitely ask for Melanie next time we go away and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a care giver.”

About: Over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals in clients' homes. I am a Wicomico county public school teacher this proving a clean background as well as a patient and caring demeanor. I cared for my own diabetic cat for 2 years so insulin administration would be no problem. I am available every other weekend as I am a single mother- usually the 2nd and last weekends of each month. I am available to stay in your home Friday through Sunday evening and provide all day care Saturday and Sunday. I will care for the animals as you direct me to. I am happy to take dogs in my vehicle for outings to dog parks or other events. I have a fenced in yard at my own home but have 2 guinea pigs and a cat so visits to my home would be dependent on tolerance to other pets.

About: I had a successful dog sitting/walking business in the past. I personally have raised and owned small ,medium and XL dogs from a dachshund to a St Bernard. I currently have an Italian Greyhound who is 11 and senior Shih Tzu who is 17 . I also have Golden Retriever, Beagle and Corgi grand-dogs who I have taken care of when their parents are away. I have plenty of time to care for your loved dog or cat. I can come early morning, afternoon ,evening and late night or I can stay at your home. I do not have a fenced yard so I keep my dogs on a leash when I walk them. There is a dog park by me and a large park in town for longer walks. In any clients home I follow there pet sitting instructions thoroughly.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for several years! I personally have two dogs one being a male boxer and the other a male chihuahua. My family and a few friends have trusted me to walk, play, and care for their pets for years. I am an extremely gentle, kind, and energetic person who loves all types of animals. I occupy a very flexible schedule and often times do not work until later in the afternoon. This provides me with the advantage of assisting clients early in the morning and or afternoon. Additionally, my job will be closing on both monday’s and tuesday’s which will be fully open for dog walking/care! I am perfectly comfortable coming to clients homes and taking care of their animals. I would prefer walking dogs with a leash for safety reasons but if it is a fenced in property I do not mind watching or playing with dogs in this protected area. I am comfortable putting dogs in their crates and feeding them! I also am extremely cautious and will always clean after myself or the pet. Building trust and a safe environment begins with building a relationship with the pet.

About: I believe that dogs need walks!! Not just let out to go to the bathroom, but real physical activity! Dogs need to see the world around them - this makes there temperament better equipped to handle strangers and other animals. I have a sweet yellow lab who thinks she is human -- no, really!!!! My Jags wants to play all the time. She loves other dogs - we are a dog lovin family! I believe that giving dogs proper exercise is what may set me apart from other sitters -- Im a fast walker. I am a responsible adult who cares deeply for the comfort and well being of all animals!! Fresh water is a must as well. I can't wait to meet your pup! Thanks for considering me. I’m very flexible!
