“Carlie and her husband were an excellent pet sitters for our Jack Russell dog. They were very caring, reliable and accommodating to our schedule. We traveled from New York and be were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our pet because she was in good hands.”

“We were a bit apprehensive about leaving our 2-year-old Cavapoo, Ollie, with a sitter for the first time, but Sylvia put our minds at ease the moment we met her. She is incredibly caring and attentive. I loved receiving the photo updates showing Ollie happy and enjoying his stay—it meant I didn't have to worry about him at all! I can’t recommend Sylvia enough for anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“I can't recommend Kelly enough for dog boarding! My pup, Bailey, absolutely loves staying at her place. The big, fenced-in yard is a doggy paradise, and he has a blast running around and playing with Charlie, Kelly's dog. It's such a relief to know that Bailey is having a great time while I’m away! Kelly’s communication skills are fantastic. She keeps me updated throughout Bailey’s stay, sharing pictures and messages that always brighten my day. It’s so comforting to know my furry friend is in such caring hands. If you’re looking for a loving and fun environment for your dog, look no further than Kelly! Bailey can’t wait for his next visit! 🐾❤️”

“Robert was fantastic with Gracie. He sent pics and updates several times a day. She came home exhausted so I know she was played with A LOT while she was with him. He truly loves dogs, I highly recommend him!”

“Megan was amazing with Jax! She communicated with me throughout his stay so I knew he was having a great time and also sent pics! I look forward to booking with Megan again 😊”

“ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Margit & Bill are amazing! We have never had our dogs with anyone other than family - well- Olivia & Riley immediately felt they had met new family members! Welcomed by their 3 sweet dogs, Margit and Bill took the time to explain their day to day schedule, all while our dogs jumped up on their laps and snuggled! I made multiple errors when booking our dates & times- they were very gracious, patient & flexible! Their son Noah, also a Rover sitter, stepped in at the end of the week and was as loving & communicative as his parents. Having daily communication and photos throughout the week was such a great way to stay in the loop and up to date on our pups. If you are looking for a place that will love your fur baby while you are away - Margit & Bill are THE BEST! Knowing we have a safe and loving home away from home for Olivia & Riley is such a great relief! Thank you Rover for employing Margit & Bill! They are worth their weight in gold! Deb A Frankford,DE”

“Cory was friendly and knew a lot about puppies. We were very comfortable leaving our six month old Finnegan with him. He has a big yard and a fenced in deck. I would bring Finnegan the next time I’m in the area.”

“Jill was amazing! My pup came back a more relaxed dog after staying with Jill! I got lots of fun videos that made me feel good knowing Biscuit was having a vacation of his own! Thanks Jill!”

“Kathy took great care on Kimi who got very ill with liver failure just a couple of days before our trip. Kathy made sure Kimi ate and drank and gave her numerous medications. Kimi looked better and more lively when we picked her up than when we dropped her off. We will surely call upon Kathy the next time we need dog sitting.”

“Our dog, who can be a wee bit nervous, had such a lovely time with Jeremiah and his family! They were so kind and communicative, and we’ll happily trust them to care for her again. She can’t wait to be back for snuggles with the kids!”

“This is the second time that we have used Irena for our dachshund, Koop, and both experiences have been great! Koop seems to enjoy being there, from what I hear, he gets along well with her dog, Louie. She sent us pictures throughout our trip as well. We will definitely be using Irena again the next time we need someone to watch Koop!”

“Dory’s first stay with Micki went very well and Dory had a great time. We’re very pleased with the care that Micki provided and have booked Dory’s next stay with Micki. As pet parents, we are very comfortable leaving Dory with Micki and know that she will be safe, loved, and well cared for.”

“We used Samantha for the first time to watch our little guy, Ollie, and she was everything we were hoping for — and then some! From the start, her communication was prompt and reassuring, which immediately put us at ease. It was clear she has a genuine sense for an animal's needs, and Ollie took to her right away. She sent daily updates throughout our time away, including an adorable holiday-themed photo that honestly made our day. Knowing Ollie was happy, comfortable, and in great hands made all the difference. You can just tell when your pet is at ease, and he absolutely was. We will 100% be rebooking with Samantha — no question about it. If you're looking for a pet sitter who truly cares and goes the extra mile, look no further. Thank you, Samantha — Ollie had a wonderful time! 🐾”

“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

“They were great! They kept my wife and I informed of the dogs wellbeing everyday with photos and text. We had a late pick up on Sunday due to our drive and they were very accommodating.”

“Riley’s first extended stay with Mary Sue and it was fabulous! Also our first overnight using Rover. Mary Sue kept us up to date regularly with pictures and messages. She was very kind as I was a nervous mom leaving my baby with someone new. Riley will certainly be a regular guest! Thank you so much.”

“I was in need of a sitter for my 12 week old puppy and almost 3 year old labs. Janice met and exceeded all my expectations! She is very knowledgeable and has a great demeanor with the dogs. I would recommend her to anyone!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
