“Sylvia was an incredible sitter! The moment my husband and I met her we knew she’d be great. She has such a lovely personality and you can tell how much she cares about animals. She made sure to keep us updated on how Trigger was doing and sending pictures, he looked so happy in all of them. When we picked him up, he was just happiest old pup. I most definitely recommend Sylvia to anyone that needs a sitter!”
“I highly recommend Jill! Our dog has a lot of anxiety and she did SO well with him. We received photos and videos of him daily, and it was clear that he was active and happy. Jill is such a kind and caring person. We will definitely be repeat customers!”

“Our Prince had a great time with Kelly!!! She was very helpful when it came to the needs of Prince and went above and beyond for his needs! Would highly recommend and we will definitely use Kelly in the future! Thank you so much for caring for Prince!!!”

“Gizmo had a wonderful time and was so well taken care of by Margit and Bill. Leaving him for over a week was so stressful to us as pet parents but the daily updates and photos took away any concerns we had. Leaving our precious baby with this wonderful caring couple who treated him as one of their own was a blessing. I know for sure Gizmo is missing hus Rover family already.”

“Best sitter! Molly had a great time running and resting at Kate’s house for the weekend. She had an extra crate for her when I forgot mine and also kept me updated with Molly’s day. I really appreciated the short turn around as my planned sitter canceled last minute and I was scrambling to find a reliable fix! Thank you Kate!”

“Ziggy appeared to enjoy his stay with Jacqueline and her son. He was nice and tired when we got him home. Jacqueline communicated promptly and sent photos during Ziggy’s stay. Many thanks!”

“This was our first trip away without Rocky. Daniela sent me pictures throughout the night and kept me updated on how he was doing. Rocky had a blast with her dogs! Definitely would recommend Daniela, they make your dog feel like one of their own. Thank you again!”

“There are not enough kind and positive words we can write regarding Mary Sue and the excellent and loving care she provided our dog, Ollie. As first time dog parents needing a boarding service, we were so fortunate to find Mary Sue on Rover. She sent detailed reports and photos each day during the week that we looked forward to and appreciated so much. Certainly helped put our minds at ease. Ollie most definitely enjoyed himself and we certainly plan to have him stay with Mary Sue again.”

“Our dogs can be challenging and this was the first time they've ever been boarded. McCray did a great job taking care of them and giving them tons of attention...all during the holidays, which is not easy.”

“I am so incredibly grateful for Samantha and her family. Her communication from the start was so reassuring. She asked all the right questions when I dropped her off and I knew she was in good hands. She sent tons of pictures and it was clear that Daisy was totally enjoying herself and felt comfortable in her new space. When I picked her up, my heart totally melted by how happy she was. I will ABSOLUTELY be using Samantha in the future! I highly recommend!”

“Daniel and his wife did an exceptional job with my dog Bandit. I was so nervous, Bandit is 8.5 years old and had never been with anyone alone. He did phenomenal with him giving me updates and texts with photos. Made me feel at ease. I had just recently moved to the area and knew nobody had to be an away for a long weekend which required a need for Bandit to be in care. This was just what I was looking for. Very conveniently located also. Would recommend and plan to book again in the future.”

“Our dog, who can be a wee bit nervous, had such a lovely time with Jeremiah and his family! They were so kind and communicative, and we’ll happily trust them to care for her again. She can’t wait to be back for snuggles with the kids!”

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.
“Mickey was a very gracious and thoughtful host for our year and a half old wire hair fox terrier. Mickey dealt with a small injury to Gracie‘s paw that occurred just before we dropped her off, keeping her front paw bandaged many times as Gracie decided she did not want to wear it. She also took Gracie for 2 1/2 mile walks, which is exactly what that breed needs. We absolutely recommend Mickey.”

“Jeanne was great with our dog! He was very well loved and taken care of. He enjoyed roaming around in her fenced backyard. She would send pictures and updates every morning. She was quick to respond if I had a question. Hope to have her watch Leo again when we are at the beach!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
