“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I love dogs and up until 3 months ago I had a rescue dog for 8 years until she developed serious medical issuse and I had her euthanized. I miss here and she was spoiled and I will do the same for your dog. I will provide plenty of walks and a nice fenced in backyard where your pet can roam free to do whatever. I allowed my dog to have free roam of my house, and your pet will have the same freedom, and I have a nice porch where your pet can lay outside and enjoy the sights. I am 75 and a retired RN. I live alone so my schedule is very flexible, with the appropriate notification. I am an early riser so your pet will be let out back first thing in the morning, then - 2or 3 walks during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a fenced in deck above the garage so your pet can be safe in either one of the locations.

About: I was raised with cats, I had either one or two cats my whole life up until I was about 35. When it came time to get pets again, I chose guinea pigs due to the allergies of someone else in the home. I have had up to 5 guinea pigs at a time and currently have two when my daughter comes to visit I help take care of her two cats that travel with her. Additionally, I’ve just joined a pet/house sitting site and will be doing travel cat sits beginning in June. I’ve also helped to take care of my daughter’s rabbit when she used to live with me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. But I’ve cared for my dog Tickle for 12 years now. I trained him as a puppy and care for him in his old age. I can do it all!! I’ve also cared for cats and fostered cats. I can administer medication, give baths, clean litter boxes, go for walks, and more! I am currently out of work and so I’m pretty available through out the week. I babysit sometimes but it’s usually once a week and very random. I am very careful with animals!! I know taking care of my older dog I take it very serious about what he eats. I know different animals have different rules. Also.. ANIMALS NEED LOVE!! About: I have always had pets in life (dogs, cats, rabbit, hamsters, fish) and even adopted a dog to live with me when I was in college. The majority of my experience is with dogs and it spans all sizes and breads (from an 8-pound Maltese to a 70+ pound American Staffordshire Terrier). I am the extreme dog lover who carries an extra set of leashes, water bowl, and treats in our car just in case. I grew up taking care of and training a German Shepherd and Sheltie. Her place has plenty of shade, fencing, and other pups for my dog to enjoy. I will definitely be rebooking with Megan W in the future!”
