“Iuliana's care for my 2 cats was exemplary. Punctual, affectionate, and thorough, she provided top-notch care. We trusted her completely with our pets and home, and will definitely seek her services again.”

“Jennifer is amazing! She recently watched my 11-month-old puppy, Charlie. It was my first time leaving him with a sitter since I adopted him, so naturally I was a little nervous. From the moment I met Jennifer, I could tell right away that Charlie would be in great hands. She treated Charlie as if he were her own dog, with lots of love and attention. She shared adorable photos after every visit and updates that made me chuckle. It was really nice knowing that not only was Charlie being taken care of, he was also being loved while I was away. When I got home from my trip he was happy as a clam!”

“Abby was an excellent caretaker for our two cats! She did an awesome job of communicating with us, sending regular updates, and truly taking the time to keep the kitties company. It gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Kasey was absolutely amazing! She was communicative, professional, and timely. I cannot say enough great things about Kasey. Leaving my pups is never easy but she definitely gave me peace of mind and my pups absolutely loved her. She did such a great job and I cannot thank her enough. Will definitely be my go to dog sitter from now on! Thanks again Kasey!”

About: Although I am just starting out on this "Rover" journey, I have over 48 years of experience with dogs and cats. I got my first cat at twelve and my first dog at fifteen years old. As an adult, I have had five dogs and three cats over the years. We lost our last lab, Summer, in July of 2024 but then adopted a black lab mix from House of Hope Animal Rescue. Arby just turned one and brings me much joy! I love dogs, big and small, but all of my dogs were large - between 65 and 100 pounds. My last dog, Summer, had major anxiety and was very difficult at times. However, with routine, discipline and lots of love, she ended up being the dog I miss the most. If you give me a chance to walk your dog or provide drop-in care, you won't regret it! I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and are happy and tired when I leave! I am retired but want to do something to stay busy and active. Walking dogs and/or drop-in care will allow me to have a flexible schedule and the opportunity to be outside doing what I love - hanging out with dogs! My preference is Monday through Friday, but depending on the day/time, weekends are a possibility. I accept same-day scheduling if I have availability. When taking care of your dog I will follow whatever rules you have for keeping your dog safe and happy. If you don't have a fenced in yard, I always put dogs on a leash before exiting their home. Safety is my number one priority. Once leashed up, we will head out for our walk. If you have a fenced-in-yard and prefer me to just play with your dog in the yard, that is no problem! I am great at fetch, keep away, etc. with dogs. Again, the most important thing is safety, and for you to communicate with me your expectations regarding your dog.

“Jenna was very responsive. She respected my home but more importantly she took care of my 2 kitties for about 10 days. She made sure all their needs were cared for (fresh water, food and clean litter). I felt good about leaving them with Jenna.”

“I found Sydney to be prompt and trust worthy. My dog seemed to be comfy around her. Sydney agreed to a meet & greet with my a day prior to our using her services which I truely appreciated.”

“Zelle was tremendous! When we first met she put me at ease right away, so friendly and asking such good questions. She really wanted to understand our dogs differing needs. During our absence, she checked in at our agreed upon times and sent lovely pictures at each check-in. It was such a comfort to know my fur babies were cared for so lovingly. Will not hesitate to call on her again.”

“Carlie took great care of my dogs while I was out of town for a wedding. She arrived on time, even stayed a little longer than the 30 minutes, and had great communication throughout. Very happy and would definitely use her again!”

“Taylor has been helping me with my 6 month old puppy and I could not be happier with her! She is always on time, sending me pictures, and giving me peace of mind while I’m at work! She is amazing and my pup loves her!”

“Kelly was amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter in the area. She was professional, reliable and really sweet with our older dog Scooter. We had complete peace of mind during our vacation knowing that Scooter was in good hands. We're already planning on using her during our next trip!”

“Christine is the best!! Doggies love her and they are always well cared for. And this time we had an extra dog visit on short notice and she jumped in to help us out. Thanks so much!”

About: Hi and thanks for stopping to read more. I’m an animal lover. I’m patient and attentive to each fur kids needs and personalities. If they are on a routine, diet or have special needs, feel less stressed knowing it will be done. I have a diabetic dog so I am comfortable with administering shots and understand the importance of schedules, dietary needs and alertness for behavior. All the fur cats and dogs are welcomed anywhere in the home and on furniture, including cuddles for naps. I love playing, loving and training. I’ve trained one of my fur kids (Bella) to be my service animal. And because every breed has their own DNA hardwire, I make sure I’m aware of their general habits. I am a full time FurMom and am the go to person when someone needs a sitter because I don’t have other commitments and I can stay home, walk, train and/or care. I have an enclosed backyard patio with some dirt area for the bathroom and concrete to sun bathe. I also have a roof top deck fenced in if it’s a nice day for sun and breeze. I live in a really dog friendly neighborhood and have 3 floors for stretching their legs. I have a spare bedroom for anyone to relax in and an indoor camera to see monitor I am at home full time to pet sit and am able to maintain timely health care, recreation, feedings for your loved furry loved ones. Everyone is welcomed wherever they feel comfortable and safe. I have a quiet room separately if needed and I let my dogs out every 2-3 hours for bathroom breaks and continuous refreshing water. For my cats, I make sure all their preferences are in order and litter is cleaned out daily. I’ll spend laser chase and smart games throughout the day.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
