If they are on a routine, diet or have special needs, feel less stressed knowing it will be done. All the fur cats and dogs are welcomed anywhere in the home and on furniture, including cuddles for naps. I love playing, loving and training. About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. My Safe-Graduation Setup: To protect my own small, senior dog and two cats, I utilize a careful, low-stress transition plan for all incoming guests: The Baseline Suite: Initial visits and early boarding periods take place in my secure, comfortable, and fully supervised basement area. I hang out right alongside your dog to bond with them and evaluate their unique personality. On-Leash Graduation: Once your dog is fully relaxed and comfortable with me, we graduate to controlled, on-leash introductions in our secure outdoor space. Secure Play Yard: Your pup will have access to a dedicated, secure potty area (which is currently expanding into a fully enclosed backyard) for safe sniffing and play. Strict Safety Limits for Peace of Mind: Small Intake Limit- I strictly cap my home at a maximum of 3 guest dogs at any one time. Your pup will never be overwhelmed by a large pack. Size Restrictions: I exclusively accept small and medium dogs to ensure a safe, harmonious energy level for everyone. Cat-Friendly Guests Only: For the safety of my household cats, I only accept dogs with a proven history of calm behavior around felines.If you are looking for a true "home away from home" where your dog is treated like family and never left alone, I would love to meet you! I work for myself out of my home so I have flexible availability. Limited availability Saturday mornings. Otherwise, though, I am free to hang out with your pup! I have a fenced potty area and plenty of space in my neighborhood for as many walks as is necessary! One of my dogs was a therapy dog within the public school system as part of a literacy program for elementary children. I have a nice fenced in backyard and live close to two pet friendly parks.
