About: I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been a pet sitter my whole life! I grew up with both dogs (big and small) and cats, and I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I have experience with dogs who aren’t always dog-friendly or kid-friendly and know how to respectfully manage their space, routines, and comfort levels to keep everyone safe and stress-free. I’m currently based in the Ocean City area as a seasonal member of the National Aquarium’s Marine Animal Rescue Team, so caring for animals is quite literally what I do every day! I’ve raised kittens and puppies, cared for senior and hospice cats and dogs, and I’m comfortable administering medications to both. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, reactive, senior, or still learning the basics, I’m experienced in tailoring my care to match their personality and routine. I love long walks, enrichment activities, and making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to schedule pet visits around my shifts without any issue. I’m available in the mornings or early afternoons/evenings, and I can stay for several hours if your pet needs extra company, enrichment, or supervision. I’m also available on weekends and some holidays. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel safest and most comfortable. I don’t bring animals to my house, so all of my services are centered around keeping your pet’s routine consistent in their familiar environment. When I’m in your home, I will make sure to follow your instructions closely, whether that’s specific feeding schedules, preferred walking routes, medication routines, or favorite enrichment activities. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and whatever level of play, exercise, or quiet company they prefer. I’m very respectful of your home and treat it with the same care I give your pets. I tidy up after visits, keep things organized, and make sure everything is exactly how you left it.
