About: I’m a University of Arkansas graduate and a lifelong dog lover, and caring for dogs has become a big part of my life. I have my own dog, who I got after graduating, and for the past 8+ months I’ve been fostering dogs in need through Big Paws of the Ozarks. Fostering has given me extensive hands-on experience with dogs of many breeds, personalities, ages, and needs, including shelter dogs who may be nervous, stressed, or adjusting to a new environment. I’ve become very comfortable introducing new dogs into my home and helping them adjust to both me and my own dog, which is especially important when boarding. Fostering has also taught me to recognize canine body language and cues, so I’m able to tell when a dog is stressed, tired, overstimulated, or simply needs some space or a break. Above all, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to meet each dog where they are—whether that means lots of playtime and walks or giving a nervous or senior pup a little extra time and care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to make pet care a consistent part of my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with dogs through walks, runs, playtime, and snuggles, and I’m happy to accommodate their individual routines and needs. I have two extra bedrooms, so I can give each dog their own comfortable space at night if they prefer to sleep in a crate or have some quiet time. I’m also happy to let dogs sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to. My priority is always making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and supervised, while also making sure their interactions with my dog are positive.

Carlie checked in on our kittens while we were on vacation and not only did a great job taking care of and playing with them, her updates and photos made us feel confident they were doing okay without us. She went above and beyond: not only cleaning their litter boxes but cleaning up litter that had spilled out of them and even fixing our small Christmas tree when the cats knocked it over. She even went back one time after she had already checked in on them because I was concerned by one of the photos that maybe a cats collar was too tight.”

About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). I’ve watched dogs for friends and family all through the years, as well. As far as cats go, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and I adopted one two years ago! His name is Walter, he’s a tabby and the sweetest boy alive, and I love taking care of him, even if he shreds my arms sometimes. Pets need love and patience, and that’s exactly what I have for them. :) I’m currently out of college classes for the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I can work with any requests you send me, so long as we have ample time to discuss everything you’re looking for. I can easily adapt to your pet’s regular schedule, including mealtimes, bedtime, medication, if they need to be crated, playtimes, etc. The comfort and happiness of your pet is my first focus.

About: I worked in an animal daycare and also volunteer at animal shelters. I know how to clean and take care of all sorts and sizes of animals. I also know how to care and love them. I currently work a part-time job with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time for pet care throughout the week. With a couple days’ notice, I can usually adjust my schedule to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding times, and overnight care. I am happy to work with each pet’s normal routine! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions provided by owners and make sure pets are supervised, secure, and comfortable at all times. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I am patient and allow them time to become comfortable with me. I will give your pets plenty of attention, love, and care while keeping you updated during your time away.

About: I have genuine love for pets. I’ve taken care of dogs all sizes since I started dog sitting for friends and family. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure every pet feels safe and happy while you're away. I provide plenty of playtime and affection, and communicate regularly with owners to keep them updated. Your pets will be in caring hands! I’m available to take care of your pet mostly outside of my class times. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I can help before 8 am, between 10 am and 2 pm, and after 5 pm. On Tuesday and Thursday, since I only have one morning class, I’m free for the rest of the day to give your pet attention, feed them, and make sure they get exercise and care. I’m an organized person and like to be on schedule, making sure I know my timing for the day ahead by planning for the day the night before. I care for pets by creating a safe and comfortable environment. I check keep the space clean and follow all care instructions closely. I communicate openly with pet owners and give pets plenty of gentle attention to make them feel secure and loved.

About: I have raised and trained my own family dog since I was 11. Neighbors, family members, and friends have trusted me to look after and care for their pets of all sizes (cats and dogs). I fostered a 2 year old dog for a few weeks until she got adopted. I am a HUGEEE dog lover of all breeds, sizes (grew up with an 80 lb pitbull lab mix), and ages. I’m currently a college student athlete at the University of Arkansas so I am usually busy during weekday mornings, but have a lot of free time in the afternoons. I usually go on walks in the afternoon/evening anyways, so why not take a dog on my walk! I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep pets supervised at all times, and make sure they are in a safe and secure environment during walks. I also pay attention to their behavior and needs, communicate with owners about how their pet is doing, and treat every pet with patience, care, and respect.

About: I work from home most days of the week, so your dog or cat would have a buddy throughout the day! I have experience with all breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs. My own dog takes medications and so I am very familiar with giving medications and watching for any medical distress. I have one cat, so dogs must be good with cats/small animals. My dog, Pippin, loves to play and we go on multiple off leash walks throughout the day. I love animals and will love your pets like they are mine! My dog, Pippin, has separation anxiety so I understand how to comfort and care for dogs that get a little nervous without their owner. I worked in a veterinary clinic with dogs and cat. I am comfortable handling dogs of all sorts of sizes and ages and am relaxed and intuitive in possible stressful situations. I am very gentle with animals and believe positive reinforcement is the way to go to get the best results and to form a fun and trusting relationship. I am active and would love to take your high energy dogs out for a long run or hike in the area. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work full-time, primarily from home. I have time to take walks any time through out the day and currently take my own dog on 2-3 walks a day, with a hike every other day. I have a very friendly dog who loves to play and relax. I take him on hikes and walks daily. I also have a dog-savvy cat.

About: I grew up with dogs and have helped with feeding, walking, playtime, and everyday care for years. Since age 16, I’ve also house sat for both dogs and cats following their usual routines, keeping their homes secure, and providing owners with updates. I’m extremely comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs! I will send lots of check in’s, pictures, and updates and follow the instructions exactly as you need me to. I’m currently a student at the University of Arkansas, and my schedule allows time for pet care before and after classes, in the evenings, and on weekends. I keep my availability updated and will only accept bookings I can fully commit to. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep doors and gates secure, and provide updates and photos throughout each visit.

About: I have always had pets growing up and my love for them has only grown. I enjoy learning and understanding animals and take caring for them very seriously. I am available everyday and work morning hours Thursday - Sunday. I am a morning person and wake up around 7 am everyday regardless if I am working or not. I care for all animals as if they are my own. I’ve been around animals my entire life and understand when they need something or are trying to convey a need or want.

About: I have always been a dog lover. My husband and I have have dogs for our entire marriage. 22yrs!! They are such a part of the family!!! I'm a stay at home Mom. I'm at the house most all of the day. Always available for potty breaks, walks, and snuggles ❤️ 💕 I am always diligent on making sure leashes and harness are on and secure. All doors and gates are always double checked to make sure they're locked.

About: I have been a pet owner since my childhood. I have experience taking care of dogs since 13 years old, I am now 19. In recent years I have watched family and friends pets whether that is staying overnight or going to watch and walk the dog with multiple drop ins per a day. I have experience with rescue, big, and small dogs. I am pretty flexible with my schedule and want to make your pets needs my number one priority. I try to follow a strict timeline of when to feed and visit in order to not mess up the animals routine. I do have a part time job but am easily available to come and check in. I make sure when caring for. pets to also respect your home, whether that means crating your animal or letting out on a leash during a potty trip, whatever you prefer is my goal.
