About: Hi! I'm Mackenzie, a passionate animal lover with dog and cat experience. I have worked professionally with dogs at a doggy daycare, as well as cared for my family’s much-loved special needs labrador for many years. About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). About: I grew up in Texas with two dogs and two cats. And I’ve had my currently dog, Theo, since he was 5 weeks old. And I also have experience with an elderly dog with diabetes needs.
