About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for about six years, and I’m definitely the person who gets way too excited when there’s a dog at someone’s house. I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities for friends, family, and neighbors- whether that means walks, feeding, baths, playtime, or just keeping them company while their people are gone. I’m really good about following routines and instructions because I know every dog has their own little quirks. Mostly, I just want your pet to feel safe, loved, and like they got to have a fun day too. As a college student, my schedule has a good amount of flexibility throughout the week, which makes pet care easy to work into my routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and longer visits around my classes, and I’m happy to coordinate with your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible. I also have more availability on evenings and weekends. I know having someone care for your pet also means trusting them in your home, so I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll always follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I’m also respectful of your home and happy to send updates and pictures so you never have to wonder how things are going.

Tess has been phenomenal! She communicates extremely well about when she will arrive, takes great notes during the walks, and has been overall wonderful to work with. My pups have enjoyed their walks and I feel better knowing they are getting out of the house with someone I can trust. Recommend!

About: I’m an experienced pet sitter who understands that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, small animals, and even the occasional quirky pet with special instructions. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, medication support, or simply keeping your pet company, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. I focus on creating a calm, positive environment and keeping pets on their normal schedule so they stay comfortable. I’m attentive, patient, and always happy to send updates, photos, or videos so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is simple: treat your pets like they’re my own and make your time away completely stress‑free!! I am originally from Columbia, SC and currently a full time student at the University of Arkansas-majoring in nursing, and stayed back to work over the summer! I would love to watch your furry friends on my time off to make sure your babies are getting all the playtime and love they deserve! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel secure. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions the owner provides. I also keep an eye on the home itself — bringing in mail, checking doors and windows, cleaning up after the pets, and making sure everything stays tidy. I send regular updates, photos, or videos so owners always know how their pets are doing.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 7 years and have cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have many references from happy clients and treat every pet like they’re my own! I currently have a 95 pound American Pit Bull Terrier, a Corgi, and a cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for both large and small dogs as well as feline friends. I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, and administering medications, and I’m happy to follow any special routines or care instructions. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, medications, or extra patience and attention, I’m here to help. One of my favorite experiences was getting to bring a client’s dog to their wedding so they could be part of their special day. I love helping families create memories with their pets and am always happy to go the extra mile whenever I can! I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and providing plenty of photo and video updates while you’re away. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable until you’re back home. I’m a nanny, which means I make my own schedule and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I’m also a college student taking just six credit hours this semester, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I understand the importance of not overbooking myself, so I only accept bookings that allow me to give every pet the attention and care they deserve. If I’m not nannying, in class, or spending time with my own pets, you’ll probably find me visiting one of my furry clients! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, following their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m comfortable administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs on walks, feeding, playing, and providing plenty of love and attention. I’ll also keep you updated with lots of photos and messages, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own and strive to make every visit as stress-free as possible for both you and your pets.

About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). I’ve watched dogs for friends and family all through the years, as well. As far as cats go, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and I adopted one two years ago! His name is Walter, he’s a tabby and the sweetest boy alive, and I love taking care of him, even if he shreds my arms sometimes. Pets need love and patience, and that’s exactly what I have for them. :) I’m currently out of college classes for the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I can work with any requests you send me, so long as we have ample time to discuss everything you’re looking for. I can easily adapt to your pet’s regular schedule, including mealtimes, bedtime, medication, if they need to be crated, playtimes, etc. The comfort and happiness of your pet is my first focus.

About: I grew up with pet dogs. I've since become a "cat lady" but continue to love dogs. Out on neighborhood walks I have to stop and pet every dog and cat I meet! There's nothing like a bright dog face and and a wagging tail or a cat purring and rubbing against my legs! I'm recently retired and have lots of time to spend taking care of your pets. I'm available weekdays and weekends, daytime and evenings, and holidays. I'm flexible and open to hearing about your pet sitting scheduling needs. I grew up with dogs, but now I'm a cat lady who loves and pampers my little boy, Mr. Kitty. I prepare special food for him, give him lots of attention, and take him for long walks in his cat stroller. I'm an energetic and responsible recently retired hospice nurse. I'll pamper your pets and give them the greatest care. I'll also treat your space with respect and maintain a clean environment in your home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
