We had a meet and greet with her before our trip and she immediately made us comfortable about leaving the care of our kitties to her. It's clear she loves animals and our two 9 year old kitties loved her visits while we were out of town. She took great care of them and was extremely communicative with us the entire time. I will definitely request her services again in the future!!”

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

About: I began volunteering at my city's animal shelter at the age of thirteen, dog walking, and I quickly began taking on more responsibilities at the shelter from there. By the time I was fifteen, I was volunteering in vet services, helping with adoption events, and doing critter care, where I socialized and took care of small animals like rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and mice. During my time as a volunteer, I began a veterinary assisting program. I spent five days a week providing care to dogs, cats, horses, and rodents while learning proper medical procedures. Within that care, I attentively followed tailored feeding and kenneling instructions meant to keep the animals safe and healthy. Through my time at my tech school, I gained my OSHA 10 healthcare-focused certification, my HIV, Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and I graduated with my veterinary assisting certification. After graduating, I began working at my city's animal shelter as a Student Day Laborer and Veterinary Assistant, as well as pet sitting for people living in and around my city. At the animal shelter, I handled dogs with various behavioral challenges, including nipping, jumping, barking, pulling, lunging, and multiple kinds of reactivity. I maintained a clean and tidy environment by cleaning up many kinds of bodily fluids and parasites to ensure the comfort and health of the animals. During my time there, I fostered several dogs from the euthanasia list to provide them with proper enrichment and training to make them less frustrated and more adoptable. I have experience providing medical care and enrichment to puppies as young as three weeks old and senior dogs. I am a college student, but I am currently on summer break, so I am available every day except for Thursdays and Fridays. I am very flexible with my schedule when it comes to work and am willing to work with people on timing. I am capable of providing medical care and following specific feeding instructions that have been provided to me by the owner. I provide appropriate enrichment and exercise for different age ranges and breeds.

About: I have over 300 volunteer hours with NOAH Center as a dog walker, cat kennel tech, and foster parent. I grew up with 5 dogs (2 Whippets, 2 Chihuahuas, 1 Boston Terrier) and 2 cats. I ride horses in my free time so there is no dog too big for me! I am currently in between jobs and out of school for the summer so my schedule is wide open for pet sitting and dog walking! My first jobs have been dog sitting at other homes, which I believe is the ideal situation as the animals are always most comfortable in a familiar space. I love to take dogs on frequent walks and breaks outside, they are easiest to manage when tuckered out.

About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember and have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and breeds since I was a little girl. I'm in college now and live apart from my pets so I would love to use my experience to take care of your pet! I can take care of your pet whenever works best for you! I'm on summer break right now so whenever I am needed I can be there. My apartment doesn't allow dogs but I would be more than willing to pet sit in your home and take care of other duties in the house. I can also walk your dogs through the neighborhood as needed.

About: Hi there! My name is Ry, I’m a 25 year old musician and community radio show host with a positive and bubbly personality who loves to laugh. I also absolutely adore animals. So much so I had to stop eating them! (Vegan joke) Having grown up with lots of different pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters), I have experience caring for a wide variety of pet needs. If your pet likes to play, we’ll have a grand ol’ time. I have experience training dogs of family member’s basic commands such: as sit, stay, lay down, play dead, speak, and how to walk with manners on a leash. Some experience clicker training. I am open to working with any animals learning or unlearning any behaviors. Bonus if your pet enjoys music, I love to sing! I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I am available to drop in on your furry friend or stay with them while your gone whenever needed. I cater the amount of attention given to each pet based on their individual needs. If your dog wants to play every minute they’re awake, play we must. If your cat wants absolutely nothing to do with me, I’ll make sure they’re fed, watered, the litter stays clean, and stay the flip flap paddy whack out of their way. Whatever I gotta do to keep them stress free while you’re out of the house.
