“One of my cats got injured right before a trip out of town, and Emma boarded him at her house while we were away. She gave him his medicine twice a day and sent pictures and information every day. She spent time cuddling him and he even got to make a little doggy friend. I wasn't sure how my cat would do around the other animals, so Emma was very thoughtful about how and who she introduced him to, and made sure he had his own private space so he could feel comfortable. She even got him some treats :)”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. Besides cats & dogs, I have also cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, hamsters, chickens, goats, and sheep! For the past two years, I have also volunteered at the SPCA in Winchester, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

“Lisa took great care of my two cats. She was attentive to their needs based on their personalities/quirks. My 11 month old kitten had never been without us for an entire week, and my 13 year old is timid and doesn’t engage very much. Lisa gave extra attention to our kitten while still talking with and soothing our older kitty while we were away. I got a daily report with photos. That means so much when traveling. She also watered my plants, which was a great help to me in this extreme heat. I highly recommend Lisa. She knows cats!”

About: Have had 3 dogs and many other species of pets all my life. Am available almost all the time for pet care and happy to spend lots of time with your pets. Great with walking or indoor sitting. Have lots of spare time to dedicate to your pets and happy to help all days of the week. Can visit at all times of day. Can easily and gracefully handle all breeds of dogs or cats and can deal with multiple dogs at a time indoors or out doors if needed.

About: I have experience caring for both elderly and young dogs. This has equipped me with a variety of skills such as age-appropriate exercise, nutritional needs, and understanding certain behaviors and how to react. I just recently graduated high-school and need something to fill my time. Playing with your pups seems to be the best thing to fill my day! I’m free majority of the week and only work part-time as a waitress. I have a cat and dog at my house but both a friendly to other animals. If needed the animals can be put in a separate room away from clients pet.

About: Hi! My names Kirsten, and I was raised in Blacksburg. I love the NRV, but I love animals even more. I have two cats of my own Coco and Skully and they are my pride and joy. I have been taking care of animals for 7 years now and have loved every second of it. I’ve taken care of kittens, puppies, special needs animals, exotic pets and more. I have grown special relationships not only with pets, but with their families as well. I would love to meet your furry family! I am currently working as a part-time server at Cabo Fish Taco (try the blood orange margarita next time you’re in!). As a server, I rarely work for more than 5 hours at a time, which makes my schedule extremely flexible. My coworkers also pick up shifts and my management team is extremely understanding! I live in an apartment and unfortunately don’t have a yard. I do however have reliable transportation and have never even received a ticket. I believe safety is important for everyone involved, especially the pets. I am understanding of any stipulations that pet parents may have in order for them to feel comfortable leaving their babies with me.

About: I am a proud mom and fur mom. I work during the day however I am home each night. I have 14 plus years of experience with both cats and dogs and now 4 years of experience with IVDD in dogs. I have grown up with pets in my home since I was little and I know that these animals are just as much a part of a family as kids are and can designate all the love and attention to your furry friend as if you were there. My beagle mix was paralyzed due to IVDD and now have experience in relieving bladders and range of motion exercises. I currently work during the day so I am available during the week after two and all weekend unless my son has sports or whatever in which I’ll post that I am not available. I have a fenced in yard that provides plenty of room to run and play. I also love taking photos of fur babies so you’ll regularly get updates.
