“Nyree was amazing, and I’d highly recommend her! She came every morning for a week to let my fur baby out of her kennel, give her breakfast, and take her for a quick morning walk. Leia absolutely looked forward to her mornings with Nyree, and I’m so grateful for the kind, thoughtful care she provided.”

About: I’ve been helping with care and dog sitting for friends and neighbors for about ten years, especially for my sister’s cavaliers (pictured) when she goes on trips. I have a lot of experience walking more anxious/shy dogs, and have also wrangled some bigger aggressive pooches - so I know how to navigate a walk to avoid socialization when needed, and keep a tight grip on the leash. I just quit my corporate job, so my schedule is open! Particularly looking to schedule some day-time walks, but flexible on timing, and can potentially do overnights as well I like to defer to the dog’s temperament and let them initiate interactions, or offer treats to grease the wheels. Ideally I want to build a rapport with them to get in some playtime and cuddles to keep them emotionally engaged while their human is away

“CJ is awesome! I love all the pictures and updates from each walk. CJ walks Tovah regularly twice a week and it’s been such a lifesaver. Would highly recommend”

“Xan was great to work with! They took wonderful care of my dog and were communicative. I would definitely recommend them, and will book them again in the future.”

“We were so happy to have Abby walk our dog. She was prompt, took her on a great 2 mile walk (thanks for the pics!), and even fed her dinner and let her outside one last time before she left. We will definitely use her again! 😉 🐾”

“We love Amy! Amy has been nothing but communicative as we figured out and got into the habit of weekly dog walking. Our dogs love their outing with her and enjoy showing/sharing all their toys with her when they return and cool down. She quickly won our dogs over and now they eagerly wait (probably counting down the minutes) for their weekly dog walk. I’d highly recommend Amy for pet care and we love having her be part of our weekly dog routine.”

“Alana is fantastic. She is so very sweet and understanding. She made sure Rocky got all the attention and care he needed. Thanks for being super communicative and sending me all the really great pictures of my boy!”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I grew up with 2 dogs, a Labrador and Weenie-Mix, so I have experience with dogs of varying sizes. I have cared for rabbits and small birds, and have spent a lot of time around cats! I would love to take your pet for a walk and play, or drop-in for a check-in! My availability may look somewhat limiting, but I am typically available Monday through Thursday after 4:15; Friday after 3:15; and most of the day on the weekends. Your pet's happiness and well-being is of the upmost importance to me. I thank you for trusting me in your home and with the responsibility of caring for you pet.

“Autumn helped us out on very short notice and was great with our pup! Thoughtful questions, great communication, and sent us a few pictures with an update each day. Would highly recommend!”

“Amy is fantastic! She definitely knows dogs and is comfortable, capable, and trustworthy. She has been walking our Pearl for a few weeks now and it has worked out great. Pearl needs a lot of exercise and Amy takes her out on long walks with her dog, Luna, and they have lots of adventures, like seeing ducks, smelling good spring smells, and playing together. I feel so much better during the day knowing that Pearl will get a long walk and some social time!”

“Ryan was our first Rover and it was a great experience! He took our pup for a nice walk, sent pics, and provided updates. We’d definitely ask him to walk her again!”

About: Hi loving pet parents! My name is Brooke. I may be new to Rover, but I’m no stranger to pet care and I’m ready to become besties with your pup! I have cared for pets since I was 12-years-old, and I love all dogs, no matter the size, shape, or personality. I've grown up and cared for several breeds - from boxers, to cockapoos, to labs, to frenchies - and I am comfortable taking an energetic pup on a run, or I can be a couch-potato with a dog that loves to cuddle. It's my utmost goal to make your dog feel comfortable, loved, and relaxed while you're away! I work a hybrid-remote job with a flexible schedule. The longest I will be out of the house is 5 hours per day, and I am able to build my schedule around your dogs' needs! I am able to accommodate any routine your pup has, and I will give them all the love they need while you are away. I can easily crate them if needed, or stick to any feeding, exercise, and/or medication schedules you have in place.

“I highly recommend Regina. My husband and I were so pleased by her excellent communication and care for our dog as well as her flexibility with our schedule and her kind and friendly nature. She is the best!”

About: I have both adopted and fostered young and senior dogs. The youngest dog I have fostered was 1 year old (Golden Retriever - 45 lbs) named Benny. The oldest dog I have cared for was my resident dog, Bubba (Black Lab/Husky Mix - 80 lbs) who I had for 4 years who recently passed away at 11. Dogs are my pride and joy! I work full time on the weekdays and am free on the weekends. I am available during the week sometimes after work. Willing to stay the weekend if needed. I treat dogs like I would my own. On walks I make sure I have everything we need before going out. I respect each pet and go with what they want to do. IE adhering to their boundaries. I am also great at following directions that the owner provides. I want all parties, pets, parents, and myself to feel comfortable.

About: I’ve watched family and friends dogs for years. I enjoy being the “go-to” person to watch their pets . Love caring for and playing with dogs, talking them on walks, and playing! I have some flexibility in my schedule during the weekdays . However, I can always do afternoons walks and care and availability full time on weekends. For longer I usually watch folks dogs in their home - if that’s the preference. If your puppy needs to be just walked and fed for just the day that’s also grand!

“Tiya did an amazing job walking my new pup! She kept me updated with photos and videos everyday and could tell my pup was having a great time. Will definitely be booking her again. Thank you again Tiya!”

“I would highly recommend Liz as a dogwalker! She is very responsive and communicative, great about scheduling and thorough with her updates. My dog has been very happy and well-exercised with Liz's help!”

About: I am Brittney, a 26 year old that has lived a life that always had a dog in the picture. A dog lover! From helping momma dogs give birth to their litter to old guys that just want to hang out relaxing. I can do pet care all across the board. During the summers I've lived up on a glacier with 280 Alaskan huskies. I have a huge soft spot for these great cuddle bugs. Open to all the different varieties of dogs with all different characteristics. I will give your dogs the most attention. They will be happy and fed as you’d like. Walks are my favorite so your dogs will come with me and get plenty of exercise. Hope to see you soon! I have a pretty open schedule right now besides work that in girdwood 3 times a week. I will schedule my work around any commitments already made! :) I love good direction on what the pets usual patterns/ routines are that way we can spend necessary time aiding to those needs when the parents are out on vacation!

“Great walk to get to get to know Emily before we leave for our trip!”

Hannah P.
“Hannah is best-case-scenario pet sitter. My picky chihuahua both adores AND trusts her, which is not a common achievement. Hannah will take your pup on a flower hunt or cozy in for a movie night. Either way, cuddles and cuteness are inevitable. She’s responsible and rational and very attuned to unspoken needs (especially those of the non-speaking). She’s considerate of the space of others, meaning she’ll be a strong steward both of your home (if pet sitting there) and of your pet’s boundaries. She’s my first call when I know my dog will need some extra support in my absence. 10/10 would recommend!”

Brittney M.
“Brittney is a dog whisperer not just a dog walker. Her passion for furry four legged creatures shined through in every interaction with my pup right from the start. My 4 year old Husky is fairly attached to me and can be shy towards strangers, but he warmed right up to Brittney. She made me feel comfortable leaving my better half under her supervision despite my pup’s & my separation anxiety. Extremely trustworthy, I feel comfortable leaving her alone with my most prized possessions.”
