On the day of the sit she showed up right on time and settled in before we had to leave, so the puppies would get used to her being in the house. During the next few days she took wonderful care of our furbabies. She played with them and cuddled with them when they were moping and was persistent about trying to get them to eat. Pretty soon they were following her around everywhere. She sent us a lot of pictures of them and the house was immaculately clean when we got back. About: My name is Angie. I currently work in the veterinary field with cats and dogs. I have worked in the large animal field as well in the past for farm animals. I have 3 dogs at home but have had cats, bearded dragons, fish, birds and even an african tortoise. I would love to meet some new furry (or even not so furry) friends. I would treat them like they are my own pets. I have a compassion for all living things and it's a passion I would like to pursue now that my children are older and I have some more free time. I do work at a vet hospital 4-5 days a week but other than work, I am available to pet sit in your home or just pop in for walks, feeding and cuddle time if that is all that is required for your pet. I have 3 large dogs at home who are my world. They are trained to stay in our yard or be on a lead outside. They all are on allergy specific diets and medications so I am no stranger to medical issues in dogs. I have also fostered everything from extra small puppies/dogs to extra large dogs.
About: While I've had dogs for 8+ years, I have learned the importance of training and instructing animals. In the past, I have trained dogs to understand commands such as sit, stand, lie down, paw, and many more. Not only have I focused on training, but I also recognize the importance of exerting energy in which I can play fetch with dogs or even run with them. While I am in classes, I will have plenty of time throughout the days and most nights to watch, walk, and care for your animal. When it comes to hours or even a few minutes, there is always a way to work taking care of your pet into my schedule. The middle of the days are usually harder for me since I am in class, but other than that, I have pretty much open availability. In my own personal home, It would be hard for me to house an animal considering my roommates have both a dog and a cat. I wouldn't want any animal to be reactive so I would have to visit rather than bring to my home. I am more than willing to travel to a destination to care for your animal. I am also able to walk your animal in any area deemed fit and safe for both the animal and myself.
“I am so happy I reached out through Rover to Joshua. I have two large dogs and one of them has endless energy, two large cats, a leopard gecko and 10 chickens. Kind of last minute, I decided to take a quick weekend trip. My younger dog is a handful and I was worried that I would not find the person to understand and care for my puppy and all the others.
