“I couldn’t be happier with my first Rover experience. My 2yo Golden Retriever is what the call a Velcro dog, following me everywhere and loving nothing more than a good cuddle. We tried kennels and while they were safe and well managed, my pup was simply anxious in a loud setting with limited contact. Tiffany was wonderful and warm providing plenty of playtime and affection throughout the week long stay. Photos and updates showed him playing happily in the yard and comfy on the sofa. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was young. Truthfully I had never been a fan of them until we got kittens during COVID. Around the same time my neighbor moved away and her cat colony moved to my house. Ever since I’ve taken care of my cats as well as my outdoor cats and they are now my favorite animals.

About: Hi everyone! I've had dogs since I was a baby. My first dog, Kayla actually taught me how to walk! I absolutely love pups & am hoping to open a sanctuary for senior & disabled dogs one day. For now, I'm hoping to be able to leave my corporate job & take care of your dogs. Absolute dream job💙 My goal is to make your dogs as happy & comfortable as possible. If they're happy, they won't be stressed and neither will you. My family and I keep them busy & entertained. Some of my clients even call my home Camp Anacelia 😂. The atmosphere in my house is very relaxed. Everyone is welcome on the furniture & most of our guest pups sleep on our beds or in one of several dog beds we have throughout the house. Their choice! Have a pup with special needs or need medications administered? No problem! From allergy meds to insulin to diapers, I have years of experience. I also keep puppy pads readily available for our untrained guests. When the weather is good, I like to take the dogs on day trips to parks, events, markets, etc. Let me know if your dog is not a fan of car rides. Communication is key! I work outside of the home during the weekday, but your pups will never be alone as my husband is self employed and loves spending time with them. “Highly recommend!! Great place to take your pup! Marla's home is great inside and out! She has a huge fenced in yard, great for running and exploring and there is also a walking trail, that runs behind her house. Inside the main floor is a perfect set up to keep your dog safe, but still allows your pup to roam. Marla's dog, Shadow, is so sweet and very well behaved, which speaks volumes in her doggy parenting style! Another bonus to mention, is her 4 loving children! They help keep my little guy busy and show him so much love! He absolutely loves going to Marla's house! I'm so glad, I found Marla!”
About: Hello! My name is Amanda. In addition to owning and fostering animals, I have also gained an abundance of experience in animal shelter work, veterinary assistant, and wildlife rehabilitation. I now only have one dog named Ben— he’s an old man and is very mellow. As a pet owner, I understand that sometimes life gets busy and we worry about our fur children at home. I would love to be there for you and your pet! I have worked with all sizes and breeds, and many different temperaments. If your dog or cat hasn’t special needs, I would be happy to accommodate for them. If your pet is generally on the anxious/ reactive side, I am still very much willing to work with them! I am very flexible and engaging, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I currently run my own business, so I have a great deal of flexibility and time to give lots of playtime, love, and attention to your baby. We have a large, 1 acre yard that is currently unfenced, but it is our plan to soon put one up. To keep your pets safe when going outback, we will always keep them on a leash and get their energy out by running or walking down the garden paths on the property! We live in a quiet farming community, so there is plenty of space for your fur baby to enjoy, play and relax. My favorite thing to do with the dogs is walk them out back, lay on a blanket in the grass, enjoy the sun and the views (we love to watch the neighbor’s goats). Indoors, we have 3 cozy rooms and a living room with a dog couch, as well as comfy places to rest all around the home. There is plenty of space to make accommodations for pets with special needs.

Animals can't speak for themselves so we must be their voice. I work for myself and have flexible schedule. About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open. I’m looking for furry friends to hang out with while I’m home during the day. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. Other animals are excited to have a brand new friend, and I am too! Basically, I try to match the energy of who I am hanging out with.

About: Life long animal lover I've taken care of many different kinds of pets! I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goat, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently switching to working 2 part time jobs 7 days a week to only working 1 of those jobs maybe 2-3 days a week so I'm looking to fill my time with taking care of your furry best friends and probably working more at the horse farm too. My schedule for work is made at least a month in advance and I don't work weekends since I work for a dental office so I have some free time to do this now. Looking to walk your dog, drop in on your cats/dogs while you're away and maybe open to short overnight stays in your home if I can arrange for my own doggie to be taken care of because he gets really lonely and upset if I'm not home at night, otherwise I'd have it on my profile that I was available for that too. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.

“I have really enjoyed having Shanon coming to walk my big boy. My big boy is a rescue and is not great with new people. At 140 pounds he can be very intimidating to others. We need someone to watch our dogs for a long trip this year which will require work and time to build a relationship. Shanon is very intuitive to my dogs need to build a relationship slowly. She doesn't react to him the way most would and genuinely takes clues from him. Ive been so worried to try and have him build a relationship with someone and I dont think I could have gotten anyone better. She does rush him or force him to be near her and he is very quickly getting comfortable with her which is something I wasnt expecting to happen so soon. I can not rave enough about her natural intuition and willingness to work with us, its been a perfect fit and I know our dogs will be just fine with her for an extended period of time in a few months!”

In my single years, I cared for a beloved Jack Russel terrier from when she was an energetic pup until nearly 17. Currently, I live with my husband Seth and our two daughters, ages 11 and 13. Our little homestead includes a few chickens, a busy hive, and a cat whom we adopted five years ago. We are considering adopting a dog to keep our chickens safe from predators and to be a hiking companion in our travels. I am a full time homemaker and homeschooling parent. My schedule is very flexible. My days include educating my daughters ages 11 and 13 and running a small homestead of a few chickens, bees, and a cat. I love hiking at Ringing Rocks, Lake Nockamixon, and Delaware River canal towpath. Your dog would be a welcome companion on the hikes! If you have a senior dog, he will receive plenty of loving attention and companionship in our home. Our small homestead offers privacy and space for play and running. Your dog may enjoy cooling off in the creek that runs through the property. We live near Delaware canal towpath and Nockamixon state park. Both places offer excellent hiking and walking options for dogs!
