About: I have always loved being around animals, but due to my living circumstances and travel activities, owning a pet has become complicated. After retiring in 2022, I stumbled upon pet/house sitting as a means to satisfy my travel urge and my desire to be around animals. In the three years I have been house sitting, I have cared for dozens of family pets in cities all around the US. I have a part time job working a few hours just a couple of mornings a week at a YMCA. However, I have plenty of room in my schedule when I am not traveling. Rover makes it possible for me to satisfy the urge for animal companionship when I am in KC. I do not have the space or circumstances to allow me to care for other people's pets in my home. However, I am willing to travel to your home to care for your pet when you cannot do so yourself. If you need to be gone overnight, I am willing to come and offer your pet the companionship they need to feel comfortable and safe. Similarly, I am happy to do drop-ins to let them out, feed them, take them for walks, clean their litter boxes, etc. As mentioned, I have been actively involved in pet sitting on TrustedHouseSitters for the past three years and have many 5-star reviews for my efforts.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life! We always had 3 or more dogs in our house at a time! This led to me dog sitting all throughout high school and college! I have a passion for dogs! I currently work full-time but I have flexibility to leave when I need to! I normally leave early on Monday and Tuesday. I also work from home on Thursdays. About: I've been caring for dogs professionally for 8+ years. I'm used to being surrounded by all kinds of dogs; all shapes, sizes, breeds, ages, temperaments, special needs, etc. You name it, there's a good chance I've encountered it before! We recently moved to the area and are looking forward to finding new pack mates. Pet care is a lifestyle rather than a side job to me, so my schedule works around what the dogs need on any given day. We have a home environment with nearly 3 acres of fenced land for your dog to enjoy! The inside area is set up with a space for dogs to relax (the "chill room") and a space for them to play (the "play room"). The dogs are encouraged to operate as a pack, including pack outings, pack walks, and pack mealtime. This helps even the most reticent and awkward pack members to feel comfortable and socialize well with others, and ensures a stimulating and enriching experience for everyone.
