“My colleague recommended Howard to me as “the dog whisperer” and I can’t agree more! I was a little nervous to drop my pup off for daycare less than a week after rescuing her, as she is quite wary of strangers. She jumped right into Howard’s arms and apparently spent the rest of the day happy as can be cuddled on his lap. She came home happy, tired, and ready for dinner & bed! Howard also does a wonderful job of sending updates and photos throughout the day. The first day she went to Howard’s, my pup hadn’t pooped in 2 days and it was something I was worried about. He sent me a text as soon as she went so that I would have peace of mind. She has since been back to Howard’s a few times a week and I can not recommend him more!”

“Malik was great with our dog, Olive, who generally doesn't like not being with us. He also sent us pictures and updates on how she was doing during the day, and was easy to communicate and schedule with. Thanks, Malik!”

“Tina was wonderful! Great communication and flexible on timing with us. She was very kind to our Louie and sent us several photos and updates while we were away for the day. Will definitely have our guy stay with her again!”

“Stephanie took great care of our pup and sent us pictures throughout the day. It eased our minds about leaving our pup in a new place while touring the Museum. If we are ever in the area again we will plan to use her pet services again!”

“Thank you so much. Brianna was great, texted us and kept us in the loop and sent pictures. I can tell Frida had a great time, she’s fast asleep early! Will definitely use her again in the future.”

ABOUT US: We have been taking care of a variety of pets over 20 years with our own pets or taking care of others. We have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, to even fish and turtles! We have the most experience with dogs and cats, but we are open to take care of other fuzzy, feathery or scaly friends! BILINGUAL: Hablamos Español. ❤️ OUR HOME: We live in the 2nd floor of an apartment complex. Our community is safe to walk around :). FAMILY DOG: We have a small dog (Natsu: Neutered, 9 lb, Papillon) who is good with other dogs/cats. We usually keep a dog fence between the living room and bedroom for a few days/visits as they get to know each other. For house sitting, our pup typically has to come with us. WHAT WE DO: I am a props master/scenic designer/technician and Claudia works from home as an eligibility specialist. As long as it our pup Natsu can come with us and there is internet connection then Claudia can give your pets attention and care all day with the occasional errand run/gym, treating them like our own. We take pride in our customer service, attention to detail, expectations for your pets, and your home as well. We don't mind taking care of plants if needed :). We are also open to travel long distances and out of state! PET CARE: We take care of the pets inside our home. We have a day bed that we change out the sheets any time we have a pet over so they have a comfortable place to rest, we enjoy walking frequently around our safe neighborhood. We clean dogs paws any time we go for a walk. We also use pet friendly cleaning products only. With permission, we have dog seatbelts for safety to take on short trips to the park or run errands. We can also continue with any training for the pet as long as details are given. We can provide oral medications as needed. We have not had experience with injectables but we are not opposed to learning how and there is two of us to help!

“My fur baby requires a great deal of attention due to some health challenges. This makes me very careful about who cares for him. I am so Blessed to have Liza taking care of my lil guy. I would highly recommend her to people that need puppy ? care”

About: five years ago today i got my rescue mutt, jackson, & he is an absolute treasure to me. i've got a nice backyard, dog parks, hiking trails, & beaches nearby. jack is especially gentle with small dogs & children & perfectly well-behaved with everyone else except squirrels & cats. i'm a freelance musician so my schedule varies a lot - some weeks i'm available 24-7, others i'm working down in nyc, or further out of town. i'm in the process of shifting towards a more local life & will update this space as that process continues, but for now, just ask & i'll answer right away. big backyard with tall fences, me & my very friendly small lab mutt mix (50 lbs), comfy home with lots of great places to run & play nearby - anything else, just ask.

“Zuleima accepted our request last minute and was very flexible and communicative, also through pictures! Virgola seemed very happy of her time there and loved playing with her kids—she didn’t want to leave. I’ll definitely consider booking again. Thanks!”

“Sabina was awesome. Our plans when visiting New Haven changed several times and Sabina was very accommodating to meet our needs. Plus, Sam is normally quite shy around new people but warmed quickly to Sabina.”

“Eileen and her partner were beyond amazing. My dog (rescue with unknown history) is generally scared of guys and anxious when separated from me, but not at Eileen's! Pup felt right at home instantly. Eileen sent me a bunch of adorable pictures throughout the day, which I super appreciated (pup's anxiety is second only to mine). And this was all on less than a day's notice, too. Can't thank Eileen enough -- would trust her with my precious ball of fur again in a heartbeat.”

“Bianka is a true dog lover and took care of my pup like her own. He seemed so comfortable, and the updates were much appreciated. I highly recommend Bianka and her family for a reliable pet sitter!”

“Rachel did an amazing job caring for our Boston Terrier in her home for the day while we went to Busch Gardens. She was very quick to communicate with us before, during and after his stay. You could tell she loves dogs and wants to do whatever makes them happy. In our dog’s case that was fetch and snuggle. We highly recommend Rachel if you are looking for a loving person to care for your furry friend.”

About: I have had cats my whole life and a family dog. I am an approved dog foster and enjoy getting to know pets and making them feel loved :) I am a remote learning student! Which gives me plenty of time to go out and spend time with pets. Not usually available on the weekends. I have 3 sweet cats which can be separated from pets if needed. My priority will always be to keep your pet safe and comfortable!

About: I’ve had pets growing up including rabbits, cats, and dogs. I was responsible at an early age to care for animals in order to keep them under my parents roof. I’ve been trusted to dog sit for extended periods of time through the rover app, by friends, & family when they go on vacations or whenever they need it. I’m currently a dog owner of a 55 lbs golden retriever named stanley. I love all animals and willing to walk, dog sit, or board all sizes, or whatever your needs may be. My golden is very friendly and loves all things! I currently work from home 3 days a week. Weekends I’m free and take my dog for walks/adventures. Everyday, I take Stan man (my golden) for a walk in the morning, lunch, and before and after he eats. While letting them play outside in my fenced in yard. Both stan and I would love some company! I have a fenced in yard for play time! My pupper can keep your little one company. I can also crate if needed or I have a big room exclusively for pups that can be closed off by a gate, if you want your dog confined to one room. My pup is about 55 lbs and is very friendly and always eager to meet new friends, as am I! I currently have a flexible job that allows me to be home most weeks. I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I will communicate any scheduling conflict through the app or directly to the client if one arises. I have a fenced in yard for your pet to be able to run outside care free! I will follow any rules or training methods the client wants as long as they are communicated. I am able to crate pets if client wants. I have plenty of toys, beds, blankets to make pets feel comfortable. I will cater to any client request as long as it is reasonable and it is communicated.
