About: My name is Madeline Leonard. I am experienced with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats and have been caring for them since I was a young child. I worked at a boarding and daycare facility for 5 years and was animal safety and care certified. I am also comfortable giving a wide variety of medications. I work remotely 3/5 days a week and love caring for dogs and cats. I care deeply about making sure they get the best care possible and have lots of fun while their owners are away. It’s important to me that people are able to enjoy their time away without needing to worry about their furry loved ones. Don’t hesitate to contact for more information. I work remotely 3/5 days a week so I am available for boarding Thursday-Tuesday. If your pet is comfortable being left in a crate during a normal work day, I am open to boarding on Wednesdays and Thursdays as well. I have a large fenced in back yard and 3 dogs of my own. My largest is shared with my parents so is frequently not at my house, but all three are friendly and neutral with other dogs. I have several baby gates set up within my home to keep my pets separate from guests until proper introductions can be done and everyone is comfortable with each other.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and currently have 3 cats of my own. I cared for my dog through all stages of life and was able to teach her some simple commands. I love animals and pets so much and I will care for your pet as if it was my own. I currently work a full time job so its hard for me to check on them around lunch but i can do early morning and early evening walks and drop ins. On weekends I am more open and can give more attention and play/walk/love for your fur baby! With me already having pets of my own I wouldn't be able to bring your pet to my house, I don't want to stress my pets out. But I will give the same level of care you do in your own home. And I believe it will be less stressful for your pet.

About: I have a stubborn Pitbull that I've trained for service animal work. I'm not scared of any specific breeds! I also have had cats my entire life! I love giving cuddles. My baby is allergic to everything so I am also very familiar with allergies. Walking isn't a problem. I prefer pups that are gentle on leashes but am willing to work with the most advanced pullers! I am willing to stay over night if needed. I also prefer people on the night shift as I dont sleep well at night. I follow directions well and I also have to give my boy allergy medication so if that is needed I am not afraid to give them but would prefer a written document stating it is okay for me to give and written directions on how you give the medication *example 1 apoquel tab at what time* I work until 5 but am available after that. I am available on holidays and weekends as well. I work with all breeds. Pitties of course are my favorite Currently my house isn't big enough to have animals stay with me. I prefer coming out to your house where the dog or cat is familiar.

About: I love animals more than I love people. I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole like. Can take your dog for a walk, the park, give a bath, feed, water, give meds if needed, love on your baby, and brushing. Can walk your cat if it is leash trained, feed, water, give meds if needed,love on your baby, and brush. I am a full time real estate agent and do volunteer work during the week. My schedule is pretty much open, reach out to me to get a better schedule for us. I care for an animal like it were my own, with unconditional love, cuddles, kisses, hugs and the over all wellness of the animal(s) in my care.

About: While I don't have formal experience, I've spent my whole life taking care of pets at home. I've even raised our current pups from puppies to adulthood, handling everything from feeding to playtime. My goal is to treat every pet like part of the family. I'm currently a college student down in Springfield, but whenever I'm back in town for breaks or summer, I will have a fairly flexible schedule! About: I’ve been known through my family and friends as a “dog whisperer”, and have had dogs in my care all my life! I’ve owned and taken care of my own senior dog for years, and am currently working with my new puppy. I have detailed experience with elderly dogs and dogs with medical needs. I can administer medications involving needles, and fulfill special food requests. Currently, I am a university student and I have a small part time job. However, I miss working with animals and my class schedule tends to be very flexible! In caring for a pet at your home, I treat it as if it was my own. About: **NOTE: If you are outside of my normal service preferences, please still request, particularly if you have a pet that has medical or behavioral concerns. I am extremely comfortable with unique behavioral/medical needs and I find great joy in working with these animals. I have always loved animals. This was amplified when I completed an internship at an exotic animal sanctuary on their animal care team. After this, I trained as a veterinary technician at a senior dog sanctuary specializing in hospice care. When I moved to KC, I worked as a vet tech under a renowned veterinary orthopedic surgeon. I was the lead vet tech for a high-volume clinic where I was the lead surgery and dental tech, emergency tech, and euthanasia tech, and I oversaw the vet tech schedule and controlled substance logs. I am comfortable administering injections (insulin, for example), administering subcutaneous fluids, delivering triage care in an emergency with your animal, and monitoring heart rates, respiratory rates, and capillary refill times. On a personal level, I am the proud mom of a one-eyed French Bulldog, a senior Chihuahua, a ball python, a milk snake, and an eyelash-crested gecko. In the past, I have been a parent to hamsters, rats, a guinea pig, a corn snake, and multiple fish species. I currently work as a Behavioral Interventionist for a district that participates in four-day weeks. For the summer, I have open availability. The school year will begin again 8/11/25 for me which will leave me with full availability for Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays and availability from 5 am to 8 am and after 5 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until the end of May, holiday breaks being the exception. When you request a time for a visit, I will care for your pets within one hour before or one hour after the requested time unless there is a special circumstance such as medication administration needed at exact times. For example, if you request a drop-in visit at 12pm, the visit may start anywhere from 11am to 1pm in order to accommodate unexpected situations where I need to spend more time with an animal. An animal's safety is my highest priority. I am trained in safe dog introductions and reading animal body language. Additionally, I am trained to safely intervene if an interaction between animals becomes aggressive to minimize injury to the animals and myself. I am well versed in identifying potential emergency medical situations and will respond quickly to reduce stress on your beloved pet. I would like to know immediately if something is wrong with one of my babies, and it is essential to show you the same respect.

About: As an ER vet med worker, I understand that pets deserve to be treated with care and compassion. I have worked in the field for over 4 years and have experience with an array of behaviors and sizes. I own a german shepherd who is quite reactive, so I have special interests in caring for reactive and hard to handle pets. About: We have had pets of all kinds my whole life, including large and small dogs, chickens, horses, guinea pigs, and many more. We currently have cats, mastiffs, and chihuahuas! We love pets of all kinds! We are super involved with out pets and we consider them our family. With 2 adults and a teenager in the home, we have lots of people who are willing to cuddle, play, and walk your furry friends. Although we work during the day, I work from home so your pets would very rarely be alone. I have a fenced in yard and lots of friendly, furry fur-babies, for your pet to play with. We have a 2 story home with a basement, so lots of room for furry friends. We are able to baby gate and separate if needed (although we love to have them around us), and are willing to crate if you prefer. Aside from our fenced in yard, we live in a nice dog-friendly neighborhood for walks. We also have a furbo in the main areas so we can keep an eye on your furry friends and ours!
