About: While I don't have formal experience, I've spent my whole life taking care of pets at home. I've even raised our current pups from puppies to adulthood, handling everything from feeding to playtime. My goal is to treat every pet like part of the family. I'm currently a college student down in Springfield, but whenever I'm back in town for breaks or summer, I will have a fairly flexible schedule! I'm available on the weekends, evenings, and soon to be during the weekdays as well! Every pet deserves the family treatment! I'm careful to follow their set routines and rules - whether it's playtime, feeding, or crate time. Your pet's safety always comes first!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young. As well as taking care of many of my neighbors/ relatives animals. I have also taken care of dogs and cats young and old and I am volunteering at KC Pet Project. I’m currently a college student home for the summer and will have a part time job. I would be excited to take care of your pets in between! I feed, bathe, brush, and exercise my own dog and have since I was young. For the neighbors pets I have cleaned up and ensured they had the proper amount of food and water and giving them enrichment.

About: Taking care of people’s pets is my passion, and I have over fifteen years experience caring for them as a vet technician, animal care technician at several different boarding facilities, and as an animal shelter volunteer. I provide attentive, professional care with a genuine love for every dog I meet. I don’t just “watch” pets—I learn their routines, personalities, and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home. Over the course of my professional career I have worked with every type of breed and personality under the sun, from high-energy puppies to scared of their own shadow rescues to “just want a nice quiet place to lay down” senior dogs, I’m confident in reading behavior, maintaining structure, and responding calmly in any situation. I have yet to encounter a pet who hasn’t warmed up to me within a few hours, or wasn’t excited to come back to stay again. Pets under my care are treated with patience, affection, and respect—like family, not a booking! Unlike traditional boarding, I do not use kennels, unless they are necessary and that is communicated to me by the owner because of potty training and/or destructive behaviors. I have got dog beds for every shape and size, although most are more comfortable on the coach with me or in my bed at night. And, of course, there is no extra charge for playtime or extra treats! My family are all pet lovers here as well, so my husband and kids love having extra dogs around to spoil with treats, walks around our subdivision up to the pond, couch snuggles, and endless playtime in our large fenced in backyard. I never watch more than four at a time, to make sure every one of them gets plenty of attention. I am currently working on obtaining my Masters degree, primarily online, so I am home with the pets I “board” the majority of the day. I currently work from home 20 hours a week medical billing and coding and doing online program for my masters. My schedule is very flexible and I am at home pretty much 24/7. I have a fenced in large yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I walk dogs I watch/my dogs 1-2 times a day and let out any elderly dogs I am currently watching through the front door to avoid the deck steps. I feed my dogs twice a day, they drink filtered water and get denta sticks each day. I always bring dog treats on walks so reinforce good behavior. We consider our pets people here, so getting on furniture is allowed as well, unless the owner says to discourage. I do not kennel dogs unless owner provides kennel and instructs me to use it for crate training/destructive behaviors.

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of family and friend’s dogs for about 8 years now and I have a dog of my own! Her name is Wednesday and she’s a German Shepherd Mix that I’ve had for 2.5 years. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and treat them all like the little fur babies they are! I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule so I will be available to drop in and take your dog(s) as many times as needed throughout the day. I will make sure to follow their normal routine as much as possible. Such as feeding times, frequency in walks/potty time, play time, etc. Additionally, I am a huge dog lover and I have no problem cuddling, petting, and playing with your fur-baby while I care for them.

About: I currently work at a boarding facility and get to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments! I especially do well with the pups that are a little more nervous or fearful as I’ve been working with dogs and have learned how to read them well! I love to see nervous pups flourish into who they truly are once they get warmed up! I am a lead at PetSuites so I do administer medication daily to pups aswell so don’t be shy about boarding your dog who needs medication! My work schedule: sun. 8-8 Mon, OFF tues 8-5:30 wed 8-5:30 thurs 8-8 fri 8-5:30 sat 8-5:30 IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH YOUR DOG BEING LEFT ALONE FOR 10+ HOURS I CAN CHANGE MY 12 HOUR DAYS TO 9. You just have to book a few weeks in advance I currently work full time and depending on how close the dogs are to my work could swing by before and after work as well as on my break for potties and meals! On my days off I can spend much more time if not the whole day those days! My dogs at home are friendly but one is getting old and a little cranky so in home boarding/visits wouldn’t work best for me as it would likely make your dog more comfortable to be at their own home!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. Always had a dog in the house growing up till I moved out. I used to dog/house sit for family friends who had really big dogs and small dogs. I’ve handled big dogs like Newfoundlands and St. Bernard’s as well as other dogs like boarder collies and golden retrievers. I’m currently off for the summer due to being a High School teacher. I coach in the mornings and evenings but my middle day and weekends are really open. Would be available anytime from 11am to 4pm regularly I live in an apartment that is right next to a dog park/fenced area. About: I’ve had at least one dog at any given time since I was young. I’ve gone through multiple puppy stages and adopted my current dog when she was a teen. She suffers from the occasional seizure so I’m familiar with that as well. I work from home full time so frequent potty breaks or pups with separation anxiety will always have someone there with them. I have a 6 year old son who loves dogs. About: **NOTE: If you are outside of my normal service preferences, please still request, particularly if you have a pet that has medical or behavioral concerns. I am extremely comfortable with unique behavioral/medical needs and I find great joy in working with these animals. I have always loved animals. This was amplified when I completed an internship at an exotic animal sanctuary on their animal care team. After this, I trained as a veterinary technician at a senior dog sanctuary specializing in hospice care. When I moved to KC, I worked as a vet tech under a renowned veterinary orthopedic surgeon. I was the lead vet tech for a high-volume clinic where I was the lead surgery and dental tech, emergency tech, and euthanasia tech, and I oversaw the vet tech schedule and controlled substance logs. I am comfortable administering injections (insulin, for example), administering subcutaneous fluids, delivering triage care in an emergency with your animal, and monitoring heart rates, respiratory rates, and capillary refill times. On a personal level, I am the proud mom of a one-eyed French Bulldog, a senior Chihuahua, a ball python, a milk snake, and an eyelash-crested gecko. In the past, I have been a parent to hamsters, rats, a guinea pig, a corn snake, and multiple fish species. I currently work as a Behavioral Interventionist for a district that participates in four-day weeks. For the summer, I have open availability. The school year will begin again 8/11/25 for me which will leave me with full availability for Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays and availability from 5 am to 8 am and after 5 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until the end of May, holiday breaks being the exception. When you request a time for a visit, I will care for your pets within one hour before or one hour after the requested time unless there is a special circumstance such as medication administration needed at exact times. For example, if you request a drop-in visit at 12pm, the visit may start anywhere from 11am to 1pm in order to accommodate unexpected situations where I need to spend more time with an animal. An animal's safety is my highest priority. I am trained in safe dog introductions and reading animal body language. Additionally, I am trained to safely intervene if an interaction between animals becomes aggressive to minimize injury to the animals and myself. I am well versed in identifying potential emergency medical situations and will respond quickly to reduce stress on your beloved pet. I would like to know immediately if something is wrong with one of my babies, and it is essential to show you the same respect.
