About: I’ve been experienced in the veterinary medicine field for about 2 years, working as a receptionist and also a kennel technician taking care of pets. Before I went into vet medicine I worked at a doggy daycare for almost 2 years, I was taking care of boarded pets (cats and dogs) and also working as a receptionist. I love to build relationships with pets and owners and care for them to the best of my ability I'm available Wednesday through Saturday with flexible hours and can provide walks, and drop-in visits. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive to each dog's unique needs. I understand every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I always make it a priority to follow instructions closely including, feeding schedules, medications(if needed), and any special preferences. In a clients home I focus to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and affection.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old, including family pet care, professional pet care and personal pet care. I am experienced in dog walking, dog boarding, in home pet sitting and diabetic pets/sick pets. I have reliable transportation and am available at all times to give your pet the care they need! I am committed to being available at all times including weekends and evenings. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so it doesn’t feel like a task, it’s something I intentionally build into my schedule to make sure pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I care for pets as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their individual routines, personalities, and needs, whether they’re in my home or a client’s home. This includes making sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of affection and attention. I love animals, so I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, playing, going for walks, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also keep a close eye on their behavior and health, and I follow any specific instructions the owner provides to ensure their pet feels happy and well cared for while they’re away. As a diabetic dog owner myself I am committed to giving your pet the best care I can!

She has been so incredibly reliable and always on time, which gives us such peace of mind while we're at work. Our dog, Flex , gets so excited every time she show up. I especially love the daily photo updates and detailed summaries of their walks. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional walker! Thanks Tiffany!”

About: I have had dogs in the family since I was 5. I loved playing, taking them on walks and snuggling with them. I have also taken on the responsibilities of feeding, grooming and cleaning up after dogs. As of right now I am currently not working a full time job so I have a lot of availability for dog walking, sitting and boarding! I live on the same property as mine and my husbands home church in a parsonage. We do not have a fence right now but there is a playground on the church property that we used to take our dog to before she passed away and she loved it!
About: Hello! My name is Jennifer! I used to go to animal shelters and volunteer in the cat houses and then switch off to walk dogs to help them get the exercise they need. My wife and I have our evenings free to take care of and love your animals! I am very flexible and trustworthy in the pet parent’s homes. About: I have hands on, everyday experience caring for four Golden Retrievers of my own. Managing a multi dog household has given me skills in canine schedule structure, supervision, and understanding of different personalities and energy levels. I also have experience caring for infant puppies, including feeding schedules, potty training foundations, crate introduction, and the patience that can sometimes be needed during those important early development stages. I’m comfortable maintaining routines, reinforcing basic training, and providing both high-energy play and calm, attentive care. Your pet will be treated like part of my family: safe, loved, and well cared for! I work remotely full time, so I am very flexible and am able to meet you and your schedule requests, whether it be for in-home visits, walk outing, or overnight stays. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise routines, and any specific instructions closely to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I’m respectful of your home, keep everything clean and organized, and always send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I have a stubborn Pitbull that I've trained for service animal work. I'm not scared of any specific breeds! I also have had cats my entire life! I love giving cuddles. My baby is allergic to everything so I am also very familiar with allergies. Walking isn't a problem. I prefer pups that are gentle on leashes but am willing to work with the most advanced pullers! I am willing to stay over night if needed. I also prefer people on the night shift as I dont sleep well at night. I follow directions well and I also have to give my boy allergy medication so if that is needed I am not afraid to give them but would prefer a written document stating it is okay for me to give and written directions on how you give the medication *example 1 apoquel tab at what time* I work until 5 but am available after that. I am available on holidays and weekends as well. I work with all breeds. Pitties of course are my favorite Currently my house isn't big enough to have animals stay with me. I prefer coming out to your house where the dog or cat is familiar.

“We did a meet and greet first, and Katie was very professional, asked all the right questions and very sweet. My puppy LOVES her, butt one of my older dogs was scared, so she offered to walk her with her brother at the same time and they did great! Very happy with Katie, and already booked another appointment.”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. One of my hobbies is German Shepard rescue. I have experience in training puppies and working with senior dogs. I work from home; however, I have a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the lunch period for rest breaks, and walking. I have availability Monday -Sunday. I am currently unable to stay overnight when house sitting, however I am able to offer boarding in my home. My fur babies are treated like one of my children. About: I have, alongside owning pets, cared for many within and outside of my family for 6 years now. I know to care for dogs, cats, big and small. My days off from my regular job are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday so if you need anything on those days then I am your gal! We take care of many pets in our home. We have 4 cats, and 5 dogs, one including a standard poodle but they have plenty of room in and outside of the house so they can have fun and roam!
About: I am someone that is very detail oriented, very observant and very compassionate towards all animals. In addition to that, I am an all star frisbee player. Relatively consistent interest... would like to seek out chances several days a week and with the potential to enable some studying while working as well. My cats have multiple safe spaces in my house in case they need to take refuge from anything. I have multiple nap pads set up all over the house. When I am home, I always listen to get a sense for what they are doing.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
