About: My name is Madeline Leonard. I am experienced with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats and have been caring for them since I was a young child. I worked at a boarding and daycare facility for 5 years and was animal safety and care certified. I am also comfortable giving a wide variety of medications. I work remotely 3/5 days a week and love caring for dogs and cats. I care deeply about making sure they get the best care possible and have lots of fun while their owners are away. I do have visits with clients that can last 1-3 hours but if I know that I’m caring for your dog I will do my very best to not schedule two visits in a day! I will spend lots of quality time with your dog and make sure it is getting more than enough love and care that it needs! I work in social work, so I usually have 2-3 visits per week that last between 1-3 hours. Other than that, and the other activities I spend my time doing, I will give your dog so much love when I am home! I am rarely ever gone for more than 3 hours at a time. I do let dogs sit on the couch and get on the bed, however, I will respect that boundary if you do not allow that for your pets. I know all families have different schedules for potty and feeding times, and my schedule is flexible so I can keep your dog on track even while you are gone.
About: I have 2 dogs (Luna and Zeus) and 1 cat (Emmy) all three have been rescued! I worked as a professional dog walker in Hendersonville Tennessee for 6 months. I averaged about 9 walks/ in home visits a day and am trying to build a cliental in Missouri. I currently work Monday though Friday 8-5. I am an early bird so I am available before and after work. I don’t work weekends so I’m also available all day Saturdays and Sundays. Ask about yard clean up services 💩 I use a no pull harness that fits completely right so no dog can’t slip out. About: I have had dogs in the family since I was 5. I loved playing, taking them on walks and snuggling with them. I have also taken on the responsibilities of feeding, grooming and cleaning up after dogs. I am extremely comfortable with unique behavioral/medical needs and I find great joy in working with these animals. I have always loved animals. This was amplified when I completed an internship at an exotic animal sanctuary on their animal care team. After this, I trained as a veterinary technician at a senior dog sanctuary specializing in hospice care. When I moved to KC, I worked as a vet tech under a renowned veterinary orthopedic surgeon. I was the lead vet tech for a high-volume clinic where I was the lead surgery and dental tech, emergency tech, and euthanasia tech, and I oversaw the vet tech schedule and controlled substance logs. I am comfortable administering injections (insulin, for example), administering subcutaneous fluids, delivering triage care in an emergency with your animal, and monitoring heart rates, respiratory rates, and capillary refill times. On a personal level, I am the proud mom of a one-eyed French Bulldog, a senior Chihuahua, a ball python, a milk snake, and an eyelash-crested gecko. In the past, I have been a parent to hamsters, rats, a guinea pig, a corn snake, and multiple fish species. When you request a time for a visit, I will care for your pets within one hour before or one hour after the requested time unless there is a special circumstance such as medication administration needed at exact times. For example, if you request a drop-in visit at 12pm, the visit may start anywhere from 11am to 1pm in order to accommodate unexpected situations where I need to spend more time with an animal. An animal's safety is my highest priority. I am trained in safe dog introductions and reading animal body language. Additionally, I am trained to safely intervene if an interaction between animals becomes aggressive to minimize injury to the animals and myself. About: Raised with dogs and always been around them for the past 29 years of my life. I've also pet-sat for cats since 2012 and have lived with them since 2020. I currently have 4 cats, and a dog I share custody of with my parents. I love parks, going on walks or hikes, and always follow hygiene procedures. Cleaning litter is no problem. I have minor dog training experience and will always ask what commands you want me to remain consistent on. I have experience giving cats and dogs oral medication via syringe and pill, and am familiar with specific dietary and medical needs. If your pet needs extra mobility help I am here for them, too. What sets me apart is that I am reliable, calm, and enthusiastic about all animals. I have recently returned to university, so my schedule is very flexible. Most of my classes are online. Every week I check what needs to be done for the next week so that I can plan the best patterns for work, study, and life. Staying up late or Waking up early is no problem. The first thing I do in respect to any client is get to know what expectations are and a brief history of the pet and their needs. Setting firm boundaries while expressing deep compassion and care is my go-to. I adore playing with active pets and giving them plenty of cuddles and attention - but if a pet is skittish of strangers or doesn't like being touched I will always give them the space they need to be themselves. Trust is a two-way street and as a human it is my responsibility to bridge the language gap with patience, love, and consistency. Making sure pets are safe and accommodated for in weather is a priority, whether that is in the form of hydration, giving them a coat, or assuaging their fears.

About: My name is Madeline Leonard. I am experienced with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats and have been caring for them since I was a young child. I worked at a boarding and daycare facility for 5 years and was animal safety and care certified. I am also comfortable giving a wide variety of medications. I work remotely 3/5 days a week and love caring for dogs and cats. I care deeply about making sure they get the best care possible and have lots of fun while their owners are away. It’s important to me that people are able to enjoy their time away without needing to worry about their furry loved ones. Don’t hesitate to contact for more information. I work remotely 3/5 days a week so I am available for boarding Thursday-Tuesday. If your pet is comfortable being left in a crate during a normal work day, I am open to boarding on Wednesdays and Thursdays as well. I have a large fenced in back yard and 3 dogs of my own. My largest is shared with my parents so is frequently not at my house, but all three are friendly and neutral with other dogs. I have several baby gates set up within my home to keep my pets separate from guests until proper introductions can be done and everyone is comfortable with each other.
