“Melissa proved to be very trustworthy and a great dog/house sitter. I highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs. I have two large goldendoodles, who are strong and very vocal. They like to walk about 2-miles every day, however one of my dogs is terrible with other dogs when she sees them, and my other dog chimes in by barking and pulling. They are not easy, and require someone with strength and authority. Both dogs require medication in the morning and evening, including eye drops. Melissa had no problem dealing with their special needs and quirky personalities, and when I came home my dogs seemed well adjusted and not stressed out that I was gone. Melissa sent me many photos and videos and sent me texts with any questions and updates. I am very lucky to have found Melissa and I would highly recommend her for your Rover needs.”

“Chelsea is a natural with animals. There was an immediate connection with our two pups and we felt comfortable leaving them in good hands. This was my first time using Rover app and the first time I had someone other than friends or family stay overnight to care for our precious poodles. All went very well and Chelsea did not to hesitate to contact us if there was a question about the house (i.e., when the microwave blew the fuse which happens often to us). Chelsea spent quality time with us in our meet & greet in advance of the booking. I overloaded her with details about the quirks of our poodles, their daily routine and care. Chelsea took all the info in good spirit and gave them the love and care they needed. We received photos and videos from Chelsea showing the good times happening in our absence. We will definitely book Chelsea again and expect she will quickly build a solid client base on Rover. Thank you Chelsea!”

“I think Jacquie would be a great person to have as a caretaker for any animal, but especially for dogs. Jacquie is extremely passionate about animals and has experience taking care of young cats and dogs at shelters near her home and even in the Caribbean. During the summer months, she also helps her friends with their dogs on a regular basis to walk, feed, and watch them for extended periods of time. My family has two dogs of our own that Jacquie has watched and they are always very well taken care of. On top of all of this, she is a great person so she will make your life easy!”

About: I have practically 24 years of pet care experience as I have had pets all my life! I have cared for cats, dogs, puppies, kittens, sheep, donkeys and the rest! I am wholeheartedly an animal lover and would be delighted to treat your baby as my own for a few hours a week. I work each day until approximately 4pm and look forward to spending my evenings walking, cuddling or caring for animals! Whatever is necessary I am available to amend my schedule. I will care for each pets environment as is required. If they need to play outside in the garden I can supervise, or if I walk is required I live 4 minutes from Long Beach and would be happy to walk them on a lead along there.

About: Have cared for small and large dogs all breeds. Have also owned from a yorkie all the way to a Rhodesian ridgeback. Have also participated in local dog shows with my miniature schnauzer max which I love dearly.Also know how to train and tame dogs all breeds. Love to run and play with them. I live independently with my wife no pets but my boss who lives across the street has a labradoodle named bailey which I take care of almost every two weeks when he goes on business trips and back home at my parents farm I have 4 other large breed dogs and two cats and even birds. I also have a large suv with space for large dogs to be comfortable and safe. i currently work part time and from home so i have more than plenty of time to be constantly playing and paying attention to your pet. i have no problem getting up and leaving my work for a few minutes to dedicate time and love to your dog I have a fenced in yard and plenty of lawn to play with your pup. my wife also works from home and she loves animals as well so it will be like a tag team dedicating 2x as much love, fun and affection for the same price! :)

“Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

“Jessiah was amazing! He took great care of my dog and really just went above and beyond to ensure my dog was comfortable and well cared for. My dog was recovering from some medical issues and Jessiah was great at ensuring nothing happened that could cause him to relapse, and ensured he took his medication. My dog's food is also not that easy to deal with (it's raw and requires pre-thawing and then heating), but Jessiah handled it all. On top of all that my dog absolutely LOVED him, he did not want to leave Jessiah when I returned. I would definitely use Jessiah again. Five stars, highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life beginning with my grandmothers Dog, Roo who was a loving gentle companion and adventure buddy growing up. When I was 14 my family adopted a dog from ARF. For the past 15 years, Arag has been my second brother. The bond we share has been a special privilege and brings joy to my life daily. Daily walks and pet care has been a staple in my life for the past 12 years. Feeding, grooming, exercise, is all in my repertoire. I can perform any dog duties that might be required as I’ve done it all before for family and friends. Whether it’s administering medicine, going for multiple long walks a day, or simply making sure your pooch is well entertained :)

About: I have 8 years of experience taking care of pets of all sizes and breeds. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I am extremely active and love to walk dogs frequently throughout the day and have the ability to restrain large dogs. I cannot accept animals at my own home at this time, however I am available for dog sitting - day or overnight any day of the week at your home. I work remotely and have a very flexible daily schedule. I prioritize animal safety at all times and can observe animals and detect signs of weakness of illness. I always ensure the animals are well fed, clean, hydrated, happy, and healthy.

About: I have pet sat, house sat and walked dogs since childhood. There was a time I lived in someone’s house for 2 months watching their dog while they were on vacation. I love being around and caring for animals. I have a very easy schedule where i can walk dogs before work, during lunch or after and plenty of time during nights and weekends to dog sit. I live in a 1 bedroom house with a fenced in yard away from the road. I always take the pets out on a leash and if I am at the pet owners house I am sure to follow all rules.
