“When my 13 month old dog needed a place to board, I was nervous to leave him. I found Jared on Rover and found him to be responsive to questions and asked thoughtful ones about what my pet was like. We also had a "meet and greet" for myself and my pet. During the stay, Jared gave both written and video updates routinely. I will not hesitate to use Jared to board my dog in the future and am very grateful for the care he gave.”

“Lois was wonderful!! She provided excellent care when boarding our cockapoo for several days. She loved Jasper (our dog) and was very easy to work with. Lois provided us with photos/videos each day that we were away. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Lois as an excellent caretaker for your pet. We would definitely want to have her care for Jasper again!”

“Carolina and her family opened their home to Godfrey for 5 nights. This was Godfrey's first time being away from me and he was in the best of hands. Carolina stuck to his routine and gave me plenty of updates. Godfrey is a very special dog and his personality was able to shine through with Carolina! I am so happy with the experience and would recommend her to anyone!!”

About: I love taking care of friendly dogs and making sure that they are as comfortable as possible. We'd have lots of play time in the yard, leashed walks around the block a couple of times a day and enough quiet and rest time to ensure a relaxing stay for your pet. They would be joining my neutered 5 year old mini bernadoodle (15lbs), Stella who is a real lady :-)) I work from home so will usually be around to look after and play with your pet. There will be yard play and leashed walks around the block with my furry friend. I have a fenced yard and will always be outside with your pet. Potty breaks are regularly scheduled as well as being as needed depending on your pet. Fresh water is always out, I like to give my dog a chewy treat or milk bone around lunchtime. When we walk around the block it will always be on a leash.

“Karen kept me informed and communicated promptly. My dog absolutely loved his stay and would recommend Karen for anyone looking for someone to watch your beloved pets.”

“Torie was great with our two morkies, one of which has PLE and has some intense dietary restrictions. She was very communicative and quick to respond during the stay! Thank you Torie!”

“I dropped off my 11 month old, highly energetic, golden doodle for her first time away from home with some trepidation. She instantly became part of the family and made new puppy friends too! Frequent updates put my mind at ease. I think she's a bit bored now she's home!”

“Jill and her husband Doug were great hosts for our young, active Border Collie. They went out of their way to meet our needs. I had mentioned that Louie liked to chase a Frisbee, and when we arrived Jill had added one to her big bucket of dog toys. I was happy about the big play yard, but while we were away I received some pictures from Jill of Louie and his pals running at the beach. What a great place to leave my pet!”

“Kristen was an excellent sitter. Prior to meeting him she asked questions to ensure that he was comfortable in his new environment Kristen sent frequent updates. I felt that my dog was extremely well cared for by the whole family including Kristen’s dog. Highly recommend Kristen and will be using her services again.”

“Shannon was very considerate with our last minute request, which was appreciated. She did the meet and greet thoughtfully with her current pups, to give everyone the best chance of harmony. Bill came back from his stay with a wagging tail and was exhausted, both of which are a good sign. I wouldn't hesitate to use Shannon again!”

“Our pup was in great care with Elisa and her family for a week while my family and I traveled. Elisa provided updates showcasing our pet’s happiness, comfort, and playfulness in her home. After sharing that our dog has congenital knee issues, Rob, her partner, even installed another step on their dog ramp for our dog to climb up comfortably. We hope to rebook with Elisa again when needed!”

“Nina was very accommodating to my dog and I. My dog stayed with her this past weekend and Nina treated him like a part of her family. I loved that he had a great time at her home and wasn’t just placed in a cage over night like at most places. I’m booking with her again for any future trips! If you want your fur baby to be comfortable, loved on, and well cared for, book with Nina. She’ll keep you updated and you won’t have to worry while you’re away.”

“Jessica is fantastic! She was calm and caring with our dog, Finnegan. She made him feel at home and provided us updates on how he was doing. Finnegan was so excited to go back a few days later.”

“Serenity offered to meet our pups prior to their stay with her. She sent regular updates to let me know how they were doing. When we picked them up they seemed at ease. I will definitely reach out to her again when needed.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Hampton
Mochi had the best time with Allison, Matt and his pack of friends. We highly recommend them as trusted dog sitters - Mochi’s stay was filled with fun activities, love and care. It gave my husband and me so much peace of mind knowing that Mochi isn’t just boarded somewhere at a daycare but truly enjoys his time. 🥹❤️ We’d love to take him back when we are back in the area! (Mochi for sure would love it 😄)

Kristen was an excellent sitter. Prior to meeting him she asked questions to ensure that he was comfortable in his new environment Kristen sent frequent updates. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
