About: I’m so excited to be welcoming pups back into my schedule! I offer attentive, personalized dog walking with a focus on making every outing feel safe, happy, and special. I treat each dog like one of my own, with plenty of affection, patience, and individual attention. While I continue recovering from knee surgery, I’m currently accepting small, easy-to-handle dogs for walks. Whether your pup loves a leisurely neighborhood stroll, lots of sniffing, or a little extra TLC, I’m happy to tailor their walk to their personality and routine 🐾💜 I commute from NYC & The Hamptons, so my schedule varies slightly during the week. I encourage bookings and stays to be planned ahead of the week to ensure consistency and dependability. I provide my own pet-safe wipes to clean paws after outdoor walks, helping keep your home clean while maintaining your pet’s comfort. I’m mindful about the products I use and prioritize gentle, pet-safe options. I always ask before giving any treats and make it a priority to respect both your home and your pet’s routine. I aim to provide thoughtful, considerate care in every environment I’m welcomed into.

About: I’m 59 years old and I’ve cared for many dog breeds since I was 10, poodle, lab, mixed breeds, golden doodle, pitbull mix. I take pride in how I take care of my dog from what I feed him, clean up after him, and keep him happy and comfortable. I believe I can offer the same attention to detail for a guest dogs needs. I am a full time programmer at the Riverhead County Clerk’s Office working 7-3 Mon-Fri, I would like to try boarding on the weekends and possibly during the week as I get more comfortable with this process I have a fenced in yard 4 foot fence, and own a 5 year old mixed breed terrier that loves to play. I’d be looking to care for friendly small to medium sized dogs that have are up to date on shots from the vet. I have a spare large crate if needed but it would be best if you have your own since your pet is used to that one. I’d like to see vet records of shots and meet before hand to make sure our pets get along

“This past weekend we went away last minute, after looking unsuccessfully for someone to board our dog Holly based on a friend's recommendation. We were out of luck. I then checked out Rover and found Julie, thank goodness she was available at such short notice. Making plans and arrangements were seamless, you could tell she loves dogs (all animals) and would enjoy taking care of our Holly. Julie was 100% flexible with drop-off and pickup times, followed all our instructions for Holly. Julie sent regular pictures or communication of how the day was going, which I appreciated tremendously because Holly is a puppy and we haven't been away from her since we got her. Holly seemed to enjoy herself, she got to play with 2 other dogs and she even met Julie's cats and they all got along wonderfully. I enjoy having animals around while I work and am happy to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for. I like to keep things as comfortable and familiar as possible for each pet. I’ll follow their usual routines and any instructions you provide, while paying attention to their personality and individual needs. About: I love animals! This past January-March, I volunteered at a small family farm in France! I took care of 1 horse, 1 shetland, 2 chickens, 5 goats, 1 sheep, 2 cats and 3 dogs. I have had dogs all of my life of various sizes and personalities (I’ve had a brittany spaniel, doberman, and now have two rescues; a pit bull/boxer and a boston terrier). I grew up working on a farm so I have been with animals all of my life! I am the biggest animal lover, especially dogs! I have walked and house sit other dogs before and am very comfortable with any type of dog! I will be their new best friend :) I work some days out of the week but can adjust my schedule as needed. I am usually very free in the afternoons every day. As I live at home with my two dogs, I will not be able to care for pets in my home. However, I find that pets do best in their own environments so I can do just that!
