About: I began working with dogs at a young age by starting my own dog-walking business at 12, and I have continued building my experience in pet care ever since. I have hands-on experience with dogs of various sizes and temperaments and am confident handling a range of needs, while continuing to expand my experience with larger breeds. In addition, I have volunteered with the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) in East Hampton, where I worked with dogs of diverse backgrounds, strengthening my adaptability and overall handling skills. I am currently a college student, so my schedule varies slightly during the semester. However, I maintain a consistent routine and am reliable with planned visits, especially in the mornings. I commute from Sag Harbor and appreciate having a weekly schedule in advance to ensure consistency and dependability. During winter and summer breaks, I have a much more flexible and open schedule. I provide my own pet-safe wipes to clean paws after outdoor walks, helping keep your home clean while maintaining your pet’s comfort. I’m mindful about the products I use and prioritize gentle, pet-safe options. I always ask before giving any treats and make it a priority to respect both your home and your pet’s routine. I aim to provide thoughtful, considerate care in every environment I’m welcomed into.

“Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

About: I've taken care of animals with my parents for a few years now! I've taken care of cats and dogs, and I love to spend time with them! I'm a college student back for the summer, and I'll be working full time. I am happy to stop by and take care of your animal any day of the week! I am fully able to crate animals if needed, ensure they have fresh water, follow their routines, and provide plenty of exercise. Albert proved to be a godsend as I have commitments in NYC without someone to care for Roq in my absence. He strictly adhered to all the details of care we covered and even provided more. Albert's general demeanor was perfect as he is a calm person with sensitivities to the needs at hand. Handling Roq was not easy, as he is a large creature requiring assistance to move about. He made my apprehension fade, knowing he would provide devoted attendance to Roq's needs, with much gentle treatment and constant awareness of his needs. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Six dogs growing up, every size imaginable, and my cat Lucy who I had for 16 years. Losing her recently is part of why I’m here. I’m not ready to commit to another pet of my own just yet. I’ve handled medication schedules, post-surgery care, special diets, and anxious pets who just needed someone calm and consistent. None of that phases me. I’m based in Manhattan in a doorman building with a flexible schedule, so your pet gets actual quality time, not a quick check-in between back to back bookings. Fair warning though: I take really good photos. Your pet will come home with a camera roll full of content and probably a little spoiled. 📸🐾 New to Rover. Not new to pets. I run my own professional organizing company, so my schedule is genuinely flexible depending on the week. On days without client projects I’m fully available, and I can often accommodate last minute requests too. Weekdays, weekends, overnights: just ask. Pets don’t keep a 9 to 5 and neither do I. My apartment is a pet free home right now, which actually works in your favor. No other animals competing for attention, no territorial energy, just a calm and clean Manhattan space where your pet gets to be the center of attention. I’m in a doorman building, so there’s always someone at the door and your pet is never coming or going unattended. For drop-ins and walks I come to you, so your pet stays comfortable in their own environment the whole time.

About: I’m 27 years old and have been around dogs my entire life. I currently care for three dogs—one of my own and two family dogs—so I know how important daily exercise, attention, and love are for them. I have plenty of experience with dog walking and making sure pups get the activity and care they need. I currently work at Village Hall from 9am–4pm, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets before and after work, as well as during my lunch break at noon. I’m able to fit in walks, playtime, or check-ins throughout the day to make sure your pup gets the attention they need When caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s, I make sure they’re in a calm, safe, and structured environment. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before visits begin. I keep all spaces clean, secure, and free from hazards, and ensure gates and doors are always properly closed. I believe trust is built through consistency and communication, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep owners informed. I handle every pet as if they were my own—with patience, affection, and attention to detail—so they always feel comfortable, loved, and cared for.

About: I have had dogs my entire life 43 years. I have done pet sitting/walking on and off for about 20 years, I am pretty flexible schedule wise, able to handle multiple dogs. I will work to meet the needs of you as well as your furry companions. I am allergic to cats but capable of being around them. (Please tell me before hand so I can take allergy medicine) I am able to care for other pets as well ask if it is within my realm of care Capability. We can talk or meet at whatever is best mutually to interview and become aquinted with eachother and your pets. “Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”

I work full time as a Human Resources manager for a company in NYC (I go into the city 2-3 days a week). I am looking to make some extra money and keep busy on my off days and remote work days, and why not do that by doing something I love! I can do dog walking/visits/feedings before, and I can do overnights (at your home or mine) as long as I am not out of town. I have many years of dog sitting (some cat) experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
