About: I began working with dogs at a young age by starting my own dog-walking business at 12, and I have continued building my experience in pet care ever since. I have hands-on experience with dogs of various sizes and temperaments and am confident handling a range of needs, while continuing to expand my experience with larger breeds. In addition, I have volunteered with the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) in East Hampton, where I worked with dogs of diverse backgrounds, strengthening my adaptability and overall handling skills. I am currently a college student, so my schedule varies slightly during the semester. However, I maintain a consistent routine and am reliable with planned visits, especially in the mornings. I commute from Sag Harbor and appreciate having a weekly schedule in advance to ensure consistency and dependability. During winter and summer breaks, I have a much more flexible and open schedule. I provide my own pet-safe wipes to clean paws after outdoor walks, helping keep your home clean while maintaining your pet’s comfort. I’m mindful about the products I use and prioritize gentle, pet-safe options. I always ask before giving any treats and make it a priority to respect both your home and your pet’s routine. I can assist with training, administer medications as needed, and ensure your pet receives plenty of exercise, attention, and loving care. "As a work-from-home professional, I have ample time and a genuine love for animals. I offer a variety of pet care services, including boarding, home sitting, daycare, walks, and playtime, available on both weekdays and weekends." I'm flexible and can adapt to your dog's specific care needs. To ensure a safe environment for all, dogs will remain on a leash on my 3-acre property unless they are exceptionally well-trained off-leash. Albert proved to be a godsend as I have commitments in NYC without someone to care for Roq in my absence. He strictly adhered to all the details of care we covered and even provided more. Albert's general demeanor was perfect as he is a calm person with sensitivities to the needs at hand. Handling Roq was not easy, as he is a large creature requiring assistance to move about. He made my apprehension fade, knowing he would provide devoted attendance to Roq's needs, with much gentle treatment and constant awareness of his needs. “Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

About: I’m 27 years old and have been around dogs my entire life. I currently care for three dogs—one of my own and two family dogs—so I know how important daily exercise, attention, and love are for them. I have plenty of experience with dog walking and making sure pups get the activity and care they need. I currently work at Village Hall from 9am–4pm, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets before and after work, as well as during my lunch break at noon. I’m able to fit in walks, playtime, or check-ins throughout the day to make sure your pup gets the attention they need When caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s, I make sure they’re in a calm, safe, and structured environment. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before visits begin. I keep all spaces clean, secure, and free from hazards, and ensure gates and doors are always properly closed. I believe trust is built through consistency and communication, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep owners informed. I handle every pet as if they were my own—with patience, affection, and attention to detail—so they always feel comfortable, loved, and cared for.

About: I have had dogs my entire life 43 years. I have done pet sitting/walking on and off for about 20 years, I am pretty flexible schedule wise, able to handle multiple dogs. I will work to meet the needs of you as well as your furry companions. I am allergic to cats but capable of being around them. About: I have taken care of both family and friends’ dogs over the years and love getting to know each ones individual personality! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I am a stay at home mom with two toddlers, but have complete availability Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Weekdays, I am available in the evenings. When watching your pet at your house, I make sure to thoroughly follow any and all safety instructions. I will closely watch your dog, ensuring all fences are closed and that they are always securely on the leash when off the property.

About: I love being part of the Rover community and truly enjoy meeting so many wonderful pet parents and their amazing dogs! When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. I will do whatever you request and/or are comfortable with as the owner, leaving the pet out during the day or crating. Whatever you think is best! I've even had dogs on a scheduled nap time :) open communication here is important! I will ALWAYS send photos. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you feel most comfortable with—whether that means free roaming during the day, crating, or a structured schedule. I’ve even cared for dogs who thrive on scheduled nap times! Clear, open communication is very important to me, and I always make sure to keep owners updated with photos and messages.

About: I am a loving, responsible, reliable, friendly 38 year old who loves animals, especially dogs! I was born and raised in Southampton, NY. I work full time as a Human Resources manager for a company in NYC (I go into the city 2-3 days a week). I am looking to make some extra money and keep busy on my off days and remote work days, and why not do that by doing something I love! I can do dog walking/visits/feedings before, and I can do overnights (at your home or mine) as long as I am not out of town. I have many years of dog sitting (some cat) experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. My entire life I have had at least one dog in my family home, I promise your dog will be in safe and loving hands!!! I am genially available as long as I’m not in the city for work. I go into the city 2-3 days per week but otherwise I’m very flexible! My home is safe and pet friendly. I can fit a crate if needed. I have yard space to walk dogs and live in a walkable neighborhood to take longer walks as well.

About: I am a private chef in the Hamptons, but I sit dogs consistently- especially during the culinary off-season. Out of my entire clientele, the dogs tend to be my favorite! I enjoy energetic dogs, puppies, etc. but am willing to take care of older, docile dogs too. When doing a sit I stay in touch with the client as much as desired, and text tons of photos & videos of their happy pups. I own two dogs, Nellie and Charlie, who are both very energetic, love to play-fight, and run. They are perfect to play with, and help a dog who needs to learn how to socialize. We play on the beach several times a week for a nice workout. (If you would prefer not socializing my family members can stay with them during our booking.) *Nellie: 10 year old, Chocolate Lab/German Pointer mix. Nellie can be a little stand-offish or avoid a dog, but can easily warm up with a little time Charlie: 9 year old Mini Schnauzer/Terrier Mix. Charlie loves about all dogs and humans, and doesn’t need any time to be ready to have fun My whole day can work for a dog's care. As a freelancer I am very flexible; of course the earlier we book the better to secure my availability. Pets in my home are a case by case basis. Although I offer daycare, I have two dogs and a small home. It would depend how our dogs get along. At a clients home, I use the info/instructions given to me by their owner and provide the best care possible. I will always be there. The level of care is always five stars. i adapt to yours / your dogs schedule. I am there to make your dog happy and you rest assured Fun time all the time with active dogs; caring and gentle with elder/special dogs. My work schedule varies but my wife can fill in when necessary.

I've been around dogs most of my life. Pitbulls particularly are my spirit animal. I have acquired experience with a multitude of animals working in a veterinary hospital, which sparked the direction of my career with animals. Very experienced with shy, anxious, fear based pups. Do you have an animal that has social anxiety, is skiddish, or Is your dog nervous or selective? I’d love to see if I am a good fit for them. I have full availability for pet sitting and dog walking on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as the evenings. If you are local to Wainscot there may be more availability. Unfortunately, I cannot accept other animals in my home at this current time but perhaps one day in the future. I have my indoor cat at home with my significant other and I would love to drop in to tend to your pet(s) or go for walks!

“Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”
