About: I was lucky enough to grow up with dogs and cats my whole childhood and have never spent a day in my house without a pet there. I love animals so much and it brings me so much joy to connect with them. I understand the patience and empathy it takes to get to know an animal and for them to feel comfortable around us. One day I hope to open up an animal shelter of my own on a big plot of land somewhere in the country and provide support to all kinds of animals. I currently go to college but I have afternoons and weekends free to play and care for your babies. I have breaks in my day as well in case your doggies get lonely or need a walk! In my home we let the animals come and go as they please with the doggy door, but we try and take the dogs on a long walk once a day to keep em healthy. We feed them dry food in the morning and wet at night. I try and spend a lot of time with my pets to create a familiar bond with them.

Albert proved to be a godsend as I have commitments in NYC without someone to care for Roq in my absence. He strictly adhered to all the details of care we covered and even provided more. Albert's general demeanor was perfect as he is a calm person with sensitivities to the needs at hand. Handling Roq was not easy, as he is a large creature requiring assistance to move about. He made my apprehension fade, knowing he would provide devoted attendance to Roq's needs, with much gentle treatment and constant awareness of his needs. Through her I got real, hands-on experience with crate training, leash walking, and basic commands, with a lot of professional training along the way. I’m great with puppies and happy to handle pills or meds if your dog needs them. What matters most to me is that every dog and family is different. Whatever routine and commands keep your dog feeling safe and loved, I’ll learn them and stick to them so your pup stays on their normal rhythm while you’re away. A few things that make me an easy guest in your home: I’m quiet, I don’t drink or smoke, and I don’t have pets or children of my own — so my full attention is on your dog and your space. I work remotely, so I’m flexibly available and your dog is rarely left alone. And as a Hamptons local, I understand the care families here expect for their pets and their homes. Because I work remotely with a flexible schedule, I build my day entirely around your dog. If your pup needs a walk every couple of hours, I can do that. If they’re happy with fewer, that works too. I love a good long walk, so if your dog does as well, we’ll have a great time — and if that’s not their thing, no problem at all. I’m also happy to do plenty of play and fetch in the backyard. Whatever level of activity your dog needs, I can provide it. I structure the day around their routine: when they eat, when they need breaks, when they want downtime. I’m mostly home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long. I do like to slip out for a yoga class here and there, but I’m always happy to talk through timing so it fits with what you and your dog are comfortable with. Since I’d be staying in your home, my focus is on two things: keeping your dog’s routine exactly as it should be, and treating your space with real respect. I’m extraordinarily committed to keeping your dog’s environment and schedule consistent — same routine, same rhythm, so they feel secure even while you’re away. And I see staying in someone’s home as a privilege. I’ll follow any house instructions you provide, and I’ll leave your home clean and just as I found it, if not better. I also know how nerve-wracking it can be to be away from your baby. About: I’m a certified vet assistant with clinical experience working at a vet tech for 3 years. I have been dog and cat sitting for close to 7 years now. My clients have become more like family to me and I treat their pets like my own as I consider them to be. I currently work full time. I generally spend at much time at the home as I can. I have an hour lunch that i, depending on location, make my way back to spend time with my current clients before returning around 4. “Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

About: I love being part of the Rover community and truly enjoy meeting so many wonderful pet parents and their amazing dogs! When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. I will do whatever you request and/or are comfortable with as the owner, leaving the pet out during the day or crating. Whatever you think is best! I've even had dogs on a scheduled nap time :) open communication here is important! I will ALWAYS send photos. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you feel most comfortable with—whether that means free roaming during the day, crating, or a structured schedule. I’ve even cared for dogs who thrive on scheduled nap times! Clear, open communication is very important to me, and I always make sure to keep owners updated with photos and messages.

We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person.
