About: I was lucky enough to grow up with dogs and cats my whole childhood and have never spent a day in my house without a pet there. I love animals so much and it brings me so much joy to connect with them. I understand the patience and empathy it takes to get to know an animal and for them to feel comfortable around us. One day I hope to open up an animal shelter of my own on a big plot of land somewhere in the country and provide support to all kinds of animals. I currently go to college but I have afternoons and weekends free to play and care for your babies. I have breaks in my day as well in case your doggies get lonely or need a walk! In my home we let the animals come and go as they please with the doggy door, but we try and take the dogs on a long walk once a day to keep em healthy. We feed them dry food in the morning and wet at night. I try and spend a lot of time with my pets to create a familiar bond with them.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life — I grew up with them and raised my own Chihuahua mix from a tiny puppy. Through her I got real, hands-on experience with crate training, leash walking, and basic commands, with a lot of professional training along the way. I’m great with puppies and happy to handle pills or meds if your dog needs them. What matters most to me is that every dog and family is different. Whatever routine and commands keep your dog feeling safe and loved, I’ll learn them and stick to them so your pup stays on their normal rhythm while you’re away. A few things that make me an easy guest in your home: I’m quiet, I don’t drink or smoke, and I don’t have pets or children of my own — so my full attention is on your dog and your space. I work remotely, so I’m flexibly available and your dog is rarely left alone. And as a Hamptons local, I understand the care families here expect for their pets and their homes. Because I work remotely with a flexible schedule, I build my day entirely around your dog. If your pup needs a walk every couple of hours, I can do that. If they’re happy with fewer, that works too. I love a good long walk, so if your dog does as well, we’ll have a great time — and if that’s not their thing, no problem at all. I’m also happy to do plenty of play and fetch in the backyard. Whatever level of activity your dog needs, I can provide it. I structure the day around their routine: when they eat, when they need breaks, when they want downtime. I’m mostly home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long. I do like to slip out for a yoga class here and there, but I’m always happy to talk through timing so it fits with what you and your dog are comfortable with. Since I’d be staying in your home, my focus is on two things: keeping your dog’s routine exactly as it should be, and treating your space with real respect. I’m extraordinarily committed to keeping your dog’s environment and schedule consistent — same routine, same rhythm, so they feel secure even while you’re away. And I see staying in someone’s home as a privilege. I’ll follow any house instructions you provide, and I’ll leave your home clean and just as I found it, if not better. I also know how nerve-wracking it can be to be away from your baby. When I had my own dog, I remember how much a quick photo and update meant to me — so I’ll keep you in the loop with regular updates so you can relax knowing your dog and your home are in good hands. Whatever you need to feel comfortable, I want to provide it.

“Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”

About: I love being part of the Rover community and truly enjoy meeting so many wonderful pet parents and their amazing dogs! When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. I will do whatever you request and/or are comfortable with as the owner, leaving the pet out during the day or crating. Whatever you think is best! I've even had dogs on a scheduled nap time :) open communication here is important! I will ALWAYS send photos. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you feel most comfortable with—whether that means free roaming during the day, crating, or a structured schedule. About: I have taken care of both family and friends’ dogs over the years and love getting to know each ones individual personality! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I am a stay at home mom with two toddlers, but have complete availability Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Weekdays, I am available in the evenings. When watching your pet at your house, I make sure to thoroughly follow any and all safety instructions. I will closely watch your dog, ensuring all fences are closed and that they are always securely on the leash when off the property.
