About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Grew up with dogs and cats. I currently have a 9 year old lab/american bulldog mix and an 8 year old cat as well. I got them both when they were just 3 months old and raised them to be the 2 sweetest boys. I have experience with puppies/kittens. I also have experience with giving oral medicine to dogs. Mild dog training (not professional). I’ve watched dogs and cats for many of my friends/family varying from all different types of breeds from golden retrievers to husky’s, overnights and just casual check ins. Pet care is involved in every daily and weekly routine! With owning a dog myself I look to make sure he is well exercised and played with throughout the day while also giving him all my love for the past 11 years. I own a cat as well and he is the sweetest and nicest little guy. I’m actively taking care of both my animals to make sure they live the happiest life :) Available anytime any day to help with furry friends :) Currently I live on a property with roughly about 4 acres of land, most of which is fenced in. I walk and play with my dog 3/4 times a day in the fenced in area to make sure he’s getting the exercise he needs so there is plenty of room for more furry friends! I live on the bottom floor of a house so easy access in and outside for easy potty breaks and have tons of extra room for crating if need be

“This past weekend we went away last minute, after looking unsuccessfully for someone to board our dog Holly based on a friend's recommendation. We were out of luck. I then checked out Rover and found Julie, thank goodness she was available at such short notice. Making plans and arrangements were seamless, you could tell she loves dogs (all animals) and would enjoy taking care of our Holly. Julie was 100% flexible with drop-off and pickup times, followed all our instructions for Holly. Julie sent regular pictures or communication of how the day was going, which I appreciated tremendously because Holly is a puppy and we haven't been away from her since we got her. Holly seemed to enjoy herself, she got to play with 2 other dogs and she even met Julie's cats and they all got along wonderfully. About: I’m 59 years old and I’ve cared for many dog breeds since I was 10, poodle, lab, mixed breeds, golden doodle, pitbull mix. I take pride in how I take care of my dog from what I feed him, clean up after him, and keep him happy and comfortable. I believe I can offer the same attention to detail for a guest dogs needs. I am a full time programmer at the Riverhead County Clerk’s Office working 7-3 Mon-Fri, I would like to try boarding on the weekends and possibly during the week as I get more comfortable with this process I have a fenced in yard 4 foot fence, and own a 5 year old mixed breed terrier that loves to play. I’d be looking to care for friendly small to medium sized dogs that have are up to date on shots from the vet. I have a spare large crate if needed but it would be best if you have your own since your pet is used to that one. I’d like to see vet records of shots and meet before hand to make sure our pets get along

About: My love for dogs knows no bounds! While I started actively caring for dogs about three years ago, I’ve had them in my life since I was 10. Taking my dogs to the beach or on trail walks is part of my daily routine. I realized that if I’m already bringing my own pups on adventures, why not share the fun and include other dogs too! About: I have many years of experience working with dogs, including dogs with behavior issues. Capable of handing all sizes. Have a work history working in the kennels of the Southampton Animal Shelter . I create my own appointments and work schedule so I’m very flexible. Just need to know a few days in advance to properly schedule. Flexible Will follow the routine your dog already has, I think that’s important. Feeding schedules are important , I do not board dogs at my own home, but will come to you.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from the day I was born to now! I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year too! I love animals and I love working with them, and hopefully that will become my future career♥️ I take care of my dogs daily and I walk them everyday. I am currently a full time student at a college, so for the summer I will be available every day. But starting late August, I will be starting my 3rd semester so I will be only available on the weekend’s! I wash my dogs, I take them on long walks, I feed them, and they love to cuddle. They are now senior dogs, so they sleep more often, but they are given the love and care that they need!😊

About: I grew up with dogs and have a very large very hyper guy currently. I started walking dogs when I was in elementary school and dog sat during Covid. I’ve also owned dogs through every stage of their life, from 8 weeks to 16 years old. I work restaurant hours Thursday through Sunday, 3 to 11. This means I have 3 days completely free and I’m available every morning and afternoon. I can’t do anything in my own home because my dog isn’t very good at making friends, but because of that I am very good with walking and caring for more challenging dogs

About: I'm a long time volunteer with Friends of the Homeless Animals and I have two rescue dogs of my own. We are a dog loving family and have a very pet friendly home, My dogs have always been very welcoming and have been great with the dozens of foster dogs we've had in and out of our house over the last decade. We decided to try boarding in our home-- we know how difficult it is to go away and worry about your pet. We have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs—our goal is always to give the dogs space and time to relax and feel comfortable. I've done everything from giving insulin shots to oral vaccines. I've had dogs with separation anxiety, dementia, dog aggression--you name an issue, I've had a foster dog with it!, My 26 year old daughter is often with us and is wonderful with dogs and helps out quite a bit. She stands in for me if I have to be away. I work from home, so I am always around. We take walks in our neighborhood and I always make sure someone is around when we are boarding a dog We are fenced in and make it a point to be extremely watchful of the dogs in our home. We don’t take our boarding dogs off the leash.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Grew up with dogs and cats. I currently have a 9 year old lab/american bulldog mix and an 8 year old cat as well. I got them both when they were just 3 months old and raised them to be the 2 sweetest boys. I have experience with puppies/kittens. I also have experience with giving oral medicine to dogs. Mild dog training (not professional). I’ve watched dogs and cats for many of my friends/family varying from all different types of breeds from golden retrievers to husky’s, overnights and just casual check ins. Pet care is involved in every daily and weekly routine! With owning a dog myself I look to make sure he is well exercised and played with throughout the day while also giving him all my love for the past 11 years. I own a cat as well and he is the sweetest and nicest little guy. I’m actively taking care of both my animals to make sure they live the happiest life :) Available anytime any day to help with furry friends :) Currently I live on a property with roughly about 4 acres of land, most of which is fenced in. I walk and play with my dog 3/4 times a day in the fenced in area to make sure he’s getting the exercise he needs so there is plenty of room for more furry friends! I live on the bottom floor of a house so easy access in and outside for easy potty breaks and have tons of extra room for crating if need be

About: As a child I was never allowed to have a pet. In college my best friend and I adopted a puppy named Wesley. I absolutely LOVE that companionship of having a dog and providing meaningful, loving life for them. I’ve had the opportunity to dog sit for many friends and family. I am looking for opportunities to be around love dogs and help assist others as they are away or in just in need of an extra hand! I currently work 8-4pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility in the schedule. If I know I’m advance that arrangements of Dog sitting I can make my schedule work with that. I adapt to your pets specific needs. If you are currently potty training, or crate training etc. we can make sure to continue that while I am dog sitting.
