About: I have taken care of both family and friends’ dogs over the years and love getting to know each ones individual personality! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I am a stay at home mom with two toddlers, but have complete availability Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Weekdays, I am available in the evenings. When watching your pet at your house, I make sure to thoroughly follow any and all safety instructions. I will closely watch your dog, ensuring all fences are closed and that they are always securely on the leash when off the property.

About: I am a loving, responsible, reliable, friendly 38 year old who loves animals, especially dogs! I was born and raised in Southampton, NY. I work full time as a Human Resources manager for a company in NYC (I go into the city 2-3 days a week). I am looking to make some extra money and keep busy on my off days and remote work days, and why not do that by doing something I love! I can do dog walking/visits/feedings before, and I can do overnights (at your home or mine) as long as I am not out of town. I have many years of dog sitting (some cat) experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. My entire life I have had at least one dog in my family home, I promise your dog will be in safe and loving hands!!! I am genially available as long as I’m not in the city for work. I go into the city 2-3 days per week but otherwise I’m very flexible! My home is safe and pet friendly. I can fit a crate if needed. I have yard space to walk dogs and live in a walkable neighborhood to take longer walks as well.

About: I have an immense amount of love for all animals. I enjoy getting to know each individual pet and their needs. It brings me joy to connect with each one of them. I am a seasonal farm worker. I am outdoors most days in nature, whether at the farm or in the garden. I spend lots of time walking in nature. I have a home in Southampton, close to nature trails and the ocean beaches. I also have an apartment in Brooklyn where I frequent the parks nearby. I have a small Boston terrier mix who is a delight to be around for humans and animals alike. I am happy to accommodate to your pets needs.

“Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

I've been around dogs most of my life. Pitbulls particularly are my spirit animal. I have acquired experience with a multitude of animals working in a veterinary hospital, which sparked the direction of my career with animals. Very experienced with shy, anxious, fear based pups. Do you have an animal that has social anxiety, is skiddish, or Is your dog nervous or selective? I’d love to see if I am a good fit for them. I have full availability for pet sitting and dog walking on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as the evenings. If you are local to Wainscot there may be more availability. Unfortunately, I cannot accept other animals in my home at this current time but perhaps one day in the future. I have my indoor cat at home with my significant other and I would love to drop in to tend to your pet(s) or go for walks!

While I don’t have yard, I will happily bring your pup to one of our beautiful beaches or parks or even for a car ride! Before leaving your home, I will absolutely do some light cleaning!

About: I’m 27 years old and have been around dogs my entire life. I currently care for three dogs—one of my own and two family dogs—so I know how important daily exercise, attention, and love are for them. I have plenty of experience with dog walking and making sure pups get the activity and care they need. I currently work at Village Hall from 9am–4pm, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets before and after work, as well as during my lunch break at noon. I believe trust is built through consistency and communication, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep owners informed. I handle every pet as if they were my own—with patience, affection, and attention to detail—so they always feel comfortable, loved, and cared for.

“Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”

About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter for almost four years, doing drop-in visits and walks for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve also grown up with animals my whole life — two dogs, a few cats, and even small pets like rodents — so I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of animals. I truly love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. typical day usually includes a mix of walks, drop-in visits, and spending time with the pets I’m caring for. I make sure each dog gets a good walk, some playtime, and plenty of attention. For cats or smaller pets, I give fresh food and water, clean up after them, and spend time keeping them company. I love going for neighborhood walks, playing fetch, or just giving belly rubs and cuddles. Every visit is about making sure the pet feels happy, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of walks and playtime, and always have fresh water. About: I love being part of the Rover community and truly enjoy meeting so many wonderful pet parents and their amazing dogs! When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. I will do whatever you request and/or are comfortable with as the owner, leaving the pet out during the day or crating. Whatever you think is best! I've even had dogs on a scheduled nap time :) open communication here is important! I will ALWAYS send photos. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you feel most comfortable with—whether that means free roaming during the day, crating, or a structured schedule. I’ve even cared for dogs who thrive on scheduled nap times! Clear, open communication is very important to me, and I always make sure to keep owners updated with photos and messages.
