About: I was lucky enough to grow up with dogs and cats my whole childhood and have never spent a day in my house without a pet there. I love animals so much and it brings me so much joy to connect with them. I understand the patience and empathy it takes to get to know an animal and for them to feel comfortable around us. One day I hope to open up an animal shelter of my own on a big plot of land somewhere in the country and provide support to all kinds of animals. I currently go to college but I have afternoons and weekends free to play and care for your babies. I have breaks in my day as well in case your doggies get lonely or need a walk! In my home we let the animals come and go as they please with the doggy door, but we try and take the dogs on a long walk once a day to keep em healthy. We feed them dry food in the morning and wet at night. I try and spend a lot of time with my pets to create a familiar bond with them.

“My best friend, Roquefort, a 13 year old Great Dane has been suffering with mobility issues, resulting from aging. Albert proved to be a godsend as I have commitments in NYC without someone to care for Roq in my absence. He strictly adhered to all the details of care we covered and even provided more. Albert's general demeanor was perfect as he is a calm person with sensitivities to the needs at hand. Handling Roq was not easy, as he is a large creature requiring assistance to move about. He made my apprehension fade, knowing he would provide devoted attendance to Roq's needs, with much gentle treatment and constant awareness of his needs. I'm very glad that Albert is now a resource.”

About: I began working with dogs at a young age by starting my own dog-walking business at 12, and I have continued building my experience in pet care ever since. I have hands-on experience with dogs of various sizes and temperaments and am confident handling a range of needs, while continuing to expand my experience with larger breeds. In addition, I have volunteered with the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) in East Hampton, where I worked with dogs of diverse backgrounds, strengthening my adaptability and overall handling skills. I am currently a college student, so my schedule varies slightly during the semester. However, I maintain a consistent routine and am reliable with planned visits, especially in the mornings. I commute from Sag Harbor and appreciate having a weekly schedule in advance to ensure consistency and dependability. During winter and summer breaks, I have a much more flexible and open schedule. I provide my own pet-safe wipes to clean paws after outdoor walks, helping keep your home clean while maintaining your pet’s comfort. I’m mindful about the products I use and prioritize gentle, pet-safe options. I always ask before giving any treats and make it a priority to respect both your home and your pet’s routine. I aim to provide thoughtful, considerate care in every environment I’m welcomed into.

“Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”

About: I love being part of the Rover community and truly enjoy meeting so many wonderful pet parents and their amazing dogs! When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. I will do whatever you request and/or are comfortable with as the owner, leaving the pet out during the day or crating. Whatever you think is best! I've even had dogs on a scheduled nap time :) open communication here is important! I will ALWAYS send photos. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you feel most comfortable with—whether that means free roaming during the day, crating, or a structured schedule. I’ve even cared for dogs who thrive on scheduled nap times! Clear, open communication is very important to me, and I always make sure to keep owners updated with photos and messages.

About: I have taken care of both family and friends’ dogs over the years and love getting to know each ones individual personality! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I am a stay at home mom with two toddlers, but have complete availability Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Weekdays, I am available in the evenings. When watching your pet at your house, I make sure to thoroughly follow any and all safety instructions. I will closely watch your dog, ensuring all fences are closed and that they are always securely on the leash when off the property.

“Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

About: I’ve had pets all my life, and currently live with one amazing dog and two extremely sweet kitties. All three get along great with each other as well as all other animals that come to visit! I’ve been dog & cat sitting for many years and am extremely reliable, patient, and loving of all. Everyone who knows me knows that my animals have the best lives, and I treat all furry friends with the same love and affection I do of my own! ❤️ I work in real estate in the Hamptons, so my schedule is flexible. I have a dog of my own who is greatly taken care of, so watching others is a breeze! We do daily morning beach walks (we’re at the beach for a 1-2 mile sunrise walk every morning), as well as mid-day and evening walks and tons of play time in between. I have a fully fenced in, large yard that is perfect for playing. My dog gets along with all others and loves having friends come to stay with us! My home is pet-proofed and FULL of toys as well.
