“Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”

About: I have an immense amount of love for all animals. I enjoy getting to know each individual pet and their needs. It brings me joy to connect with each one of them. I am a seasonal farm worker. I am outdoors most days in nature, whether at the farm or in the garden. I spend lots of time walking in nature. I have a home in Southampton, close to nature trails and the ocean beaches. I also have an apartment in Brooklyn where I frequent the parks nearby. I have a small Boston terrier mix who is a delight to be around for humans and animals alike. About: Hi there! I’m Kaitlyn and while I may be new to Rover, I’m not new to animal care. I’m a certified professional dog trainer with 10+ years of experience working in many niches of the dog world! I’ve spent years managing a training department in an animal shelter, raised neonate puppies, trained service dogs, and am currently enjoying competing in dog sports with my own pups. One dog and I competed in the North America Diving Dogs National Championships this October! I discovered my passion for dogs during my 7 years working on a horse farm. I have experience caring for more than just dogs and cats- I’ve also owned rabbits and reptiles and have cared for horses, small critters, fish, and even cows. I have a special soft spot for the big dogs, especially typically misunderstood breeds. I take pride in my ability to read an animal’s body language and treat them with the utmost respect, which includes respecting their boundaries and adjusting myself accordingly should they have any behavior concerns. I’m comfortable with pets of all shapes and sizes and can’t wait to meet yours! My availability is flexible and able to cater to your (and their) needs! Weekends and week nights are almost always free, and I’m able to provide care around my part-time work schedule. I treat each client’s home as my own, often leaving it cleaner than I found it! I will follow whatever specific instructions you leave for me and I bring in your mail, water your plants, poop scoop your yard, clean your pet’s bowls, etc.

About: I have always worked with animals ever since I was little. I grew up around a farm and took care of various small pets. I also have experience cat sitting and dog sitting from some friends. I have my own elderly dog who needs accommodations, so I’m ready for any task needed! I go to college mostly online, but I do have a class or two in person some days. I’m able to drop in whenever because I’ll be very much free. I can give your pet some comfort and take care of them while you’re gone! I love to go on walks and play with any furry friend!

“Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

Lived with 2 - cookie obsessed - chocolate labs, one was very active and the other attached to the hip. Have helped watch lots of family members pets as well! Just moved to NY and I'm looking for a full time job! In the meantime I have a very open schedule to stay with your furry friends! I have 2 cats and share an apartment so I typically stick to house sitting and/or drop ins. I always make sure to meet the pet before moving forward with a booking as I think it is important to interact with both pet and parent in a comfortable space !
