I have my own elderly dog who needs accommodations, so I’m ready for any task needed! I go to college mostly online, but I do have a class or two in person some days. Why I love dog sitting I am a passionate animal lover who only wants the best for them. Being able to care for them while their owners are away and seeing how happy they are after a stay puts a smile on my face. My experience administering medication I administer medication for my dog on a daily basis, as well as friend/family's dogs whenever needed. I’ve given insulin shots, vaccines, oral medication, as well as topical medication. I spend most of my time taking care of animals throughout the day as it is my passion, not to mention I have a decent amount of pets myself. I do also take care of my elderly grandmother so I split my time up accordingly. The pets in my home all get treated equally and as one of my own and they always feel right at home! I wake up and the first thing I do is let the dogs out for their morning bathroom break. They all typically go out into my fenced in yard together as one big group. I prepare their breakfasts while they're all outside and then feed them once they are let back into the house. They spend the day with me around the house where they play with each other and where I play games with them. They go on 2-3 walks per day (if the owners allow me to take them for walks) and get plenty of exercise throughout the day. They're fed their dinner between 6pm and 7pm, get their last potty break at about 9pm and then we are done for the day!

About: I have had large dogs my entire life and over the past ten years have also had cats. I have raised Newfoundlands, Bernese mountain dogs, and Manx cats. I have also taken care of many different breeds of dogs and cats for friends and family. Bijons, King Charles Cavalier, Labs, Goldens, St Bernard’s, Ragdolls, Siamese. You name it, I’ve seen them before. Big, small, young, old I am comfortable with any pet breed. I am a young lawyer who does pet sitting on the side as I love animals. I work full time during the week with floating remote days giving me potential flexibility during the week. I am off on the weekends but can stop to take care of pups or cats on my way home from work during the week and anytime on the weekends. My own property had a fenced in yard. My cats are indoor cats. About: I love being part of the Rover community and truly enjoy meeting so many wonderful pet parents and their amazing dogs! When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. About: I am a public school teacher so I am available Monday-Friday after 3pm and weekends/holidays. I have loved animals since I was a small child and have owned dogs and cats ever since. I’m also doing my masters online. I keep the house in the condition it was left to me, I’m able to take out the trash, water flowers and bring in mail.
