“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. I’ve been working with animals of all sorts since I was 6 years old and volunteered on a farm, and I have experience with every dog from chihuahua to mastiff (the mastiff was mine!). “Jill and her husband Doug were great hosts for our young, active Border Collie. They went out of their way to meet our needs. I had mentioned that Louie liked to chase a Frisbee, and when we arrived Jill had added one to her big bucket of dog toys. I was happy about the big play yard, but while we were away I received some pictures from Jill of Louie and his pals running at the beach. What a great place to leave my pet!”
“Ashley went above and beyond to take care of my dog. She was flexible with pick up and drop off. She made sure he had adequate air conditioning during a heat wave. She went to great lengths to give him his medications. And she even gave him a bath before returning him to me. She is knowledgeable and caring. I would definitely recommend her!”
