About: I’m 59 years old and I’ve cared for many dog breeds since I was 10, poodle, lab, mixed breeds, golden doodle, pitbull mix. I take pride in how I take care of my dog from what I feed him, clean up after him, and keep him happy and comfortable. I believe I can offer the same attention to detail for a guest dogs needs. I am a full time programmer at the Riverhead County Clerk’s Office working 7-3 Mon-Fri, I would like to try boarding on the weekends and possibly during the week as I get more comfortable with this process I have a fenced in yard 4 foot fence, and own a 5 year old mixed breed terrier that loves to play. I’d be looking to care for friendly small to medium sized dogs that have are up to date on shots from the vet. I have a spare large crate if needed but it would be best if you have your own since your pet is used to that one. I’d like to see vet records of shots and meet before hand to make sure our pets get along

Melissa and her husband have a large fenced in property where the dogs can run and play. Melisssa and her husband are generous with their home in terms of giving them comfortable space. I was updated all day with pictures and videos. Melissa carefully understands each dogs personality when she groups them for a stay. My pup had a great time and when I picked her up my pup gave Melissa a big cuddle and I could see my dog genuinely had developed an affection for Melissa. About: Hi I'm Ally! I grew up surrounded by dogs and my love for them has only grown over the years! I currently have two at home, Luna, a 10-year-old rescue terrier mix, and Tobi, a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi. Altogether my extended family includes 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a few chickens. (You should see our house at Christmas!) I have lots of experience with both small and large dogs but I love all shapes and sizes. “This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from the day I was born to now! I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year too! I love animals and I love working with them, and hopefully that will become my future career♥️ I take care of my dogs daily and I walk them everyday. I am currently a full time student at a college, so for the summer I will be available every day. But starting late August, I will be starting my 3rd semester so I will be only available on the weekend’s! I wash my dogs, I take them on long walks, I feed them, and they love to cuddle. They are now senior dogs, so they sleep more often, but they are given the love and care that they need!😊

Have a work history working in the kennels of the Southampton Animal Shelter . I create my own appointments and work schedule so I’m very flexible. Just need to know a few days in advance to properly schedule. Flexible Will follow the routine your dog already has, I think that’s important. Feeding schedules are important , I do not board dogs at my own home, but will come to you.

About: Hi I'm Ally! I grew up surrounded by dogs and my love for them has only grown over the years! I currently have two at home, Luna, a 10-year-old rescue terrier mix, and Tobi, a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi. Altogether my extended family includes 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a few chickens. (You should see our house at Christmas!) I have lots of experience with both small and large dogs but I love all shapes and sizes. Playtime is a big deal at my house, but rest and relaxation are a must too. Cuddling is my absolute favorite thing! I love helping others, especially when they're dogs. I found Rover through my sister and sister-in-law, who have watched dogs themselves, so I've learned the ropes through their experiences. I'm currently working part-time and heading back to school soon. My schedule may shift once the semester starts, but I'll keep my calendar updated! As of right now my schedule is pretty open and I can provide care all weekdays, but weekends are a little tougher (but if really needed I can always try to move things around). My top priority is making sure you and your pets know they're in safe, loving hands. Bathroom breaks, meals, fresh water, and plenty of cuddles are always part of the routine. And if you're comfortable with it, my dog Tobi loves meeting new friends so we can always swing by for some playtime!
About: Hi there! I’m Jess, a college educated writer and pet sitter who loves puppers. I’ve been working with animals of all sorts since I was 6 years old and volunteered on a farm, and I have experience with every dog from chihuahua to mastiff (the mastiff was mine!). I honestly love dogs, and everyone always says I’m great with animals- so why not spend some time with dogs during my free time? I’m gentle with my approaches, and on top of pet sitting I am a nanny- so I can handle any situation thrown at me! I also have experience as a life guard and in CPR and First Aid. I’ve never had a complaint, and I purely believe that’s because I love dogs, cats, and animals in general. I have a dog and a lizard so I’m always feeding/playing with/walking/grooming/cuddling someone! My dog gizmo is very energetic and a little bit difficult, so I’m comfortable with those more challenging cases. I also know reptile and cat care, as I’ve owned cats, lizards, and snakes—I grew up on farms lol I walk gizmo 2-3 times a day, feed him twice, give him medication, and play for at least 30 mins. I also bathe him and clean him after our walks.
