From growing up caring for family pets to rescuing dogs in need, I’ve spent decades learning how to understand and care for pups of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I’m now a proud dog mom to two dogs of my own, both of whom I’ve personally trained from puppyhood. I'm up in Sag Harbor for the summer and currently semi retired from my 14 year career in property management. With two pups of my own I am fully capable of feedings, walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and some medical. I'm great at understanding the different personalities dogs may have. I will ensure your pups are always safe and well taken care of so you can stay worry free.

About: I grew up around horses, dogs and cats....and the occasional bunny. I love being around animals and find it good for the soul. And I believe most animals that I meet understand that and feel safe. I have a flexible schedule that allows me the freedom to typically accept caring for your pet on short notice., unless I have other pet commitments. I prefer not to car for pets in my home. I believe they are more comfortable in their environment and can have that comfort while you are away.

About: I have one of the most impossible breeds at home. Jasper, my 7 year old Siberian Husky, destroyed my house as a puppy and now is the best trained boy. I live in a small apartment on the second floor of a walk up but am very close to a park and the area is very calm and quiet. I'm currently in college via zoom so I will be home all day to give your pet all the attention they will need while away from you! I have experience with all sized dogs since my family is made up of pugs, labs, huskies, pitties and frenchies. I can take your dog on a small walk around the block or a run depending on their fitness needs. I am able to work remotely from the office or if I need to go in I can take your pet with me if they are comfortable with it. I have a fenced space and space for crates and beds. Small home but everything is kept neat and clean. A pets home is always better for them so I am able to sleep over if thats what they need.

I have taken care of pets while their owners were away vacation or during the work day. I have experience with both sitting and boarding. I am experienced with special needs and pets with separation anxiety. I am very patient with rescue animals and understand how to communicate with them effectively. I understand that some pets have a specific schedule and I follow any and all instructions to the letter. If you would like for your dog to play at a dog park, or if your cat enjoys toys, I’d love to play with them. If your dog or cat prefers to stay inside, I’d love to hang out and give them belly rubs. About: I have taken care of puppies and senior dogs for many years now not including my own dogs! I have this attraction to dogs as they truly give me love and peace. I believe in the saying that dogs are man’s best friend and I love to be the same for them. I work full time during the months of September through June but during summer I have a flexible schedule as my workday starts at 9 and ends at 5pm. I love to exercise and run so if your dog needs to run that can be done. I will follow any/all guides given to me by the parents(dog parents hehe) and treat their pups as I would treat my own. I care and respect animals of all kind.

I can also take care of small pets like Rabbits, Hamsters, Guinea pigs, and even Birds. The safety steps I take in advance is always keeping a firm grip on the leash while walking, keeping an eye out on the overall environment that the pet is in, never leaving anything edible out on the counter within a home, making sure the dog is hydrated or fed if needed, and always having my cell phone on me. Communication is key. I am always able to deliver a full written detailed report along with photos to the owner. I understand each pet has their own unique personality and needs. I grew up taking care of multiple dogs within my immediate family. Friends of mine would always ask for me to care for their dogs too. I believe all pets deserve the best care. I will gladly cuddle your pet or give them hugs if they enjoy so. Some activities that I do when I work with dogs is taking them on long energizing walks or runs if they prefer, playing ball in the park, feeding or giving fresh water. It would be a joy to help care for your pet! I have one dog living with me named Bruno , 3 others live with my brother. Usually I get up in the morning and run errands. When I get up I usually walk Bruno in the morning and afternoon if I don’t have any clients. I take very good care of my dog Bruno and will treat your dog the same way. I find it important to have a connection with the dog, so they feel more comfortable and happy. So doing daily walks twice a day, playing with the dog, giving the dog the attention it wants is what I’m really good at. I cannot board right now because of a lot of construction at the house. I can do house sits and drop in visits and walks.

About: I have many years of experience working with dogs, including dogs with behavior issues. Capable of handing all sizes. Have a work history working in the kennels of the Southampton Animal Shelter . I create my own appointments and work schedule so I’m very flexible. Just need to know a few days in advance to properly schedule. Flexible Will follow the routine your dog already has, I think that’s important. Feeding schedules are important , I do not board dogs at my own home, but will come to you.
