About: I am a dog owner who is passionate about all animals, but especially dogs. I have learned how to read dog body language and attended school for 2 years for Canine Training. I absolutely adore animals and believe in positive reinforcement 100%. I currently have nothing on my schedule, so your dogs have my full attention! I take care of my own dog every day, so I know how to keep dogs occupied and happy. I will ensure that your dogs are 100% safe, cutting no corners to make sure they are properly introduced to my dogs and that their needs are always met.
About: Hi, I’m Rachel, and I’ve been caring for animals for over two decades. For the past several years, I’ve traveled the country as a trusted pet sitter through reputable apps and personal referrals, providing high-quality care in homes across the U.S. What began as a lifelong love for animals has grown into a full-time calling rooted in reliability, intuition, and genuine respect for the pets and families I serve. Now that I’m back home, I’m excited to offer local pet care with the same level of professionalism and heart I’ve brought to every sit nationwide. Your pets’ comfort, safety, and happiness will always be my top priority :) I’m a homebody who works from home, so pet care fits perfectly into my day. I’m around to give them attention, keep them company, and make sure they feel safe and loved the whole time. I care for pets in other peoples homes currently, if it’s family, friends or clients I’ve met throughout the years, my main priority is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for every animal. This includes bathing, always making sure they have food and water/or following specific feeding times, play time, walks, pets, relaxation time.
“Emily watched our dog in our home and was fabulous - our dog loved her and she sent great photos the entire time. I highly recommend Emily as she seemed to really enjoy spending time with our pup and took great care! Thanks !”

About: Hello, my name is Max and I was born and raised on the North Fork of Long island, in Cutchogue. My wife and I now live in Southampton with our 3 children and 2 furry ones. I have been pet sitting on the East End of Long Island for over 8 years. All of my clients are like family to me, and are treated as such. I am able to provide dog walks, check ins, and overnight stays in the owner's home. Dog boarding in my home is also available to dogs that are comfortable with kids and tolerant of little dogs. Unfortunately, our dogs do not allow us to board cats. But I am available for feeding and litter scoops and overnight stays in the owners home.
About: What sets me apart is the personalized, attentive care I give every dog as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each pup’s routine, personality, and comfort needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need patience, structure, potty training support, and consistent reinforcement of basic commands, as well as senior dogs who may require slower walks, medication reminders, extra comfort, or mobility support. I’m reliable, communicative, and provide regular updates with photos so you always know your dog is happy and well cared for. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, elderly, or needs extra attention, I focus on creating a calm, trustworthy environment tailored to them. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make their care a priority in my schedule. I plan my days to allow plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, bathroom breaks, and one-on-one attention so pets never feel rushed or overlooked. I’m flexible with mornings, evenings, and weekends, which allows me to accommodate different routines and energy levels. Whether it’s keeping an active dog engaged, maintaining a puppy’s training schedule, or providing a calm, comfortable environment for a senior pet, I make sure each animal receives consistent care, companionship, and attention throughout their stay. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in their own home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, crate routines, and bedtime habits to help reduce stress and keep them happy. In my home, pets receive plenty of supervision, exercise, affection, and space to relax. I make sure they have regular potty breaks, fresh water, and lots of attention throughout the day. I also separate pets when needed to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s familiar environment and maintain their usual schedule to help them feel at ease while you’re away. I keep owners updated with messages and photos, and I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and energy levels so I can quickly respond to any changes or needs. My goal is always to provide dependable, loving care and make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Shelter Island Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Morgan is such a find! She was professional, communicative, and very sweet to our dog. She sent photos periodically throughout the day, which we really appreciated. In the very first pic, our standard poodle was lying on his back as she was petting him, so we know he felt comfortable. She was super low-impact too. The house looked exactly the same as when we left it. We will be using Morgan again!
