About: Hi, I’m Rachel, and I’ve been caring for animals for over two decades. For the past several years, I’ve traveled the country as a trusted pet sitter through reputable apps and personal referrals, providing high-quality care in homes across the U.S. What began as a lifelong love for animals has grown into a full-time calling rooted in reliability, intuition, and genuine respect for the pets and families I serve. I’m around to give them attention, keep them company, and make sure they feel safe and loved the whole time. I care for pets in other peoples homes currently, if it’s family, friends or clients I’ve met throughout the years, my main priority is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for every animal. This includes bathing, always making sure they have food and water/or following specific feeding times, play time, walks, pets, relaxation time.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for many different kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, and even reptiles! I’m very responsible, patient, and attentive, and I truly enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. I’ve watched numerous animals over the years and understand how important it is to treat every pet like family. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or just a calm and caring environment, I’ll make sure they get the best care possible! I currently work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets lots of attention, care, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and pet sitting during most weekdays and weekends. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I provide a calm, loving, and clean environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions provided by owners. I also have experience around different types of animals and understand the importance of patience, supervision, and making pets feel secure.

About: I have grown up with a dog in my household my whole life! I have experience with everything from laid back Golden’s to high strung Sheppards! Dogs give me so much happiness and I can’t wait to make local dogs happy too! I can do anything from run with your dog to just hang out with them on the couch. Whatever you need I can be more then accommodating! I work 9-5 Monday-Friday. I’m available after work and on weekends as well! I’m all about getting your dog outside and being active. I think it’s important for them to get fresh air, sniff around and get all they’re bottled up energy out! I can’t wait to meet you and your fantastic furry friend! I’m currently working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. I’m available after work and on weekends. I’m available for dog walks, drop ins and can take care of a dog at the owners home. I will not be caring for dogs in my home but I am happy to come to your home and take care of your dog or cat.

I've provided overnight pet sitting and am comfortable caring for energetic puppies as well as senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. “Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”

“Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

About: My name is Alex and I would love to care for your furbabies as if they were my own! I host one family at a time (up to three pets from the same family). This ensures a premium experience for your pet that is calm, friendly and enjoyable. I do not have children or any pets of my own-this way I am be able to maintain a stress free environment for your pet to avoid any anxiety or nervousness around children or new animals. It is my job to put you and your pets at ease while you are away or busy. I want to ensure a stress free experience for all. 🐾 I will always be around to supervise the animals while I petsit! I offer a happy and calming experience for your pet in which they will enjoy lots of attention and cuddles/playtime from me or naps and comfort time and relaxing music should they desire. I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and in December 2022, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. At this time, I’m not able to offer housesitting, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks! Kindly note: * if your dog has a history of aggression towards people or has indoor accidents frequently I will not be able to host them. *Experience with breeds such as greyhounds, who may need a more quiet atmosphere I am available consistently at the moment as I run a part time home business. 24 hour consistent time with your pet is ensured. If they wish they can also sleep in the bedroom/bed. The fenced yard is big enough to run around supervised and also has tiered retaining walls. I also have a separate area for a cat(s) and a walk in closet style litter box “room”. I have plenty of toys, treats and catnip. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks!

About: I love being part of the Rover community and truly enjoy meeting so many wonderful pet parents and their amazing dogs! When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. I will do whatever you request and/or are comfortable with as the owner, leaving the pet out during the day or crating. Whatever you think is best! I've even had dogs on a scheduled nap time :) open communication here is important! I will ALWAYS send photos. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you feel most comfortable with—whether that means free roaming during the day, crating, or a structured schedule. I’ve even cared for dogs who thrive on scheduled nap times! Clear, open communication is very important to me, and I always make sure to keep owners updated with photos and messages.

About: I have taken care of dogs since a young age. I have been petting sitting for 5 years. I enjoy helping others feel at ease when they are away from their dogs! I am in school currently so my schedule changes depending on the day of the week I am either remote or in class until around 5. Caring for your dogs will be whatever you would like. I can walk the dog, play ball or just hangout, whatever your dog requires I will do!

About: I have always worked with animals ever since I was little. I grew up around a farm and took care of various small pets. I also have experience cat sitting and dog sitting from some friends. I have my own elderly dog who needs accommodations, so I’m ready for any task needed! I go to college mostly online, but I do have a class or two in person some days. About: I grew up with a Doberman and a cat. Now, I take care of friends’ dogs and cats when I’m not teaching. The summers provide me with a lot of flexibility since I teach during the school year. Currently, my mom puppy trains guide dogs so I’m learning even more about dog training, these days. For house sitting, and dog walking, my availability is open this summer since school is out! In general, I’m a regimented person and take good care of myself and my space, so I’d do the same for your fur baby. I can walk, run, and/or play with your dog. I’m a runner and hiker. I would ensure that I carry out your routines and can crate the dog if necessary. Additionally, I can socialize and play with your cat.
