“Holly was amazing with my girl ...she sent so many updates / pictures& hand fed my dog when she was nervous. Icing on top was that my dog was able to play with her dog who was just as amazing. 1000% recommend Holly to watch your dog.”

“Absolutely amazing. She was great with our pup. She sent updates and kept us informed. I would highly recommend her. My pup had a blast. She went on walks and played with her pup. I will definitely be using her again. She was friendly and just the nicest person ever.”

“Lauren took the absolute best care of our dogs, Sadie and Molly! She kept us updated with pictures and texts, which was wonderful. This was our first time using Rover and we would not hesitate to book with Lauren through Rover again. 🙂🐾”

“This was the first time I used a pet sitting service and it was a very positive experience. Elizabeth was great with my dogs. Her communication before and during their stay was fantastic, with pics and videos! I was able to enjoy and relax during my vacation because I knew my dogs were going to be well cared for.”

“Michelle did a fantastic job with my pup. She followed all my little tips for feeding her, went on walks, made sure my dog wasn’t anxious, and made my pup feel at home. Michelle also sent pics of my pup, was very flexible for drill-off and pick-up times, and was very communicative! Would absolutely recommend!”

“We booked Kyla and Cody not just for boarding our pup, but for drop-in visits with our other critters. Kyla and Cody were fantastic! We had some unique instructions, and nothing fazed them. They were great about providing updates and photos, asked questions when appropriate, and overall just gave us a sense of relief that our babies would be in good hands so that we could truly relax while we were away from home. Plus our pup found a great new friend in their dog while in their home.”

“Flurry had an amazing time staying with Pam and Mike. She loved all the other dogs and they were so great sending pictures and even videos of her stay with them.”

“Ms. Angel was amazing. I would definitely choose her again to watch my dog when I visit Hershey Park. (Only about 20 minutes from the park itself) She was very welcoming of her home and has 2 small dogs of her own that were friendly to mine. I felt comfortable immediately when I met her. Thanks again Angel!”

“Jack was so wonderful and took such good care of my dog! He sent pics and updates every day, which made me feel so comfortable! I would highly recommend Jack and will definitely use him again!”

“Keisha was very kind and loving towards CJ. Her kids loved CJ and was very attentive towards him. She kept him on his diet and he has no stomach issues. Thank you Keisha for being so kind and loving.”

“Cindy and April hit it off immediately! So kind and attentive. She took her for many walks on the wooded trails behind their house. She sent us pictures of April enjoying her mini vacation. We definitely will use her again!”

“Katlyn, Zach, and their family made our little Missy feel like family during her weekend stay at their home. We really appreciated all the notes and the pictures shared while we were away. We look forward to sharing our Missy with their family the next time we travel!”

About: I’ve been caring for and loving dogs my entire life, with extensive hands-on experience caring for large and senior dogs. I’ve volunteered over 1,000 hours at Damien’s Gift animal sanctuary, caring for animals with a wide range of needs. I’ve adopted large senior dogs and have experience with breeds including Kuvasz and Huskies. I’m comfortable with grooming, administering medications, and providing the patience and attention every dog deserves. I’ve opened my home to provide a temporary, loving place for many dogs when their owners faced homelessness, medical issues, or other difficult circumstances. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved dog in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as one of my own. Availability I work part-time from home so I’m usually here with the dogs. I’m home and available most of the time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I’m happy to work with you on your dog’s individual schedule and needs. Our Environment Your dog will stay in a peaceful, spacious 60-acre homestead at the end of a quiet road, surrounded by a creek and plenty of room to explore. I have a very secure, fully fenced large yard for safe outdoor time and plenty of space to relax. I have miles of walking trails through the woods, around the fields and down to the creek. Inside my home, I have several kennels available if needed, including a large 5’ x 10’ kennel and a 3’ x 5’ kennel. Most importantly, dogs are treated as part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision.

“We were very nervous about leaving our chloe for the 1st time but Amy and Patrick were wonderful. They messaged us daily and sent pictures of chloe making as feel at ease. We will definitely be using them again in the future.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
