“Goose was so happy after his overnight stay with Oleg! He was able to play and get lots of love at his house. Oleg was responsive and flexible with us to make it a pleasant experience for us just as much as it was for Goose!”

“Jon and Mary took great care of our Faye. We haven't left our puppy with anyone before so we were very nervous. They put us at ease by talking to us for a while about their rover experience. They have two adorable, friendly, fun loving labs that played with our little Faye. Their family all pitched in to keep Faye happy and active. We will definitely be using Jon and Mary again. Highly recomend!”

About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.
“If you're looking for someone to watch your dog for any period of time, look no further than De'Andra and Robert! They did a fantastic job watching our Pablo for the weekend, and they kept us updated every step of the way with how he was doing (including pictures and videos). I would absolutely trust them to watch Pablo again.”

“Katie and her family are the absolute BEST!! They are such a loving and caring family and do everything to make your pets feel at home! Katie has great communication and sent pics and videos throughout the week, updating us on our pup. Hands down the best experience we've had!! 100% recommend Katie and her family!!”

“Jack and Carrie were great! Our morkie has anxiety issues and he was fine. Even slept in their bed! He got along great with their small dog and bigger dog. I highly recommend and plan on using them again this month.”

“Teresa kept my Bella for 10 days while I was gone for my wedding and honeymoon. She kept me updated with pictures and videos while I was gone which was great! When I returned Bella was happy and calm! Anytime I board her a the vet she is a bit wound up and upset when I get back. This wasn’t the case after staying with Teresa! Thank you for taking care of Bella!”

“David was a wonderful caregiver to our dog. He was very responsive, flexible and provided daily updates with pictures while we were away. We were very pleased with his care.”

“Pamela totally saved us with a last minute request! She was very accommodating to my old senior Mochi and was able to arrange a quiet area for him to rest as well as a fenced outdoor area for him to roam. I was a little worried letting someone else watch Mochi since he's old dog ailments and we're from out of town, but Pamela gave me such a peace of mind with her experience with senior dogs and it showed with how great she took care of my ol'boy! I will definitely be back in touch with Pamela next time we're in the area and need a dogsitter :)”

“I am so very pleased with Cheryl and her furry family. Cheryl was very meticulous about assessing my dogs needs and care right from the start. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again! If you're looking for a caretaker that will provide top notch care and treat your furry companion with the love and respect they deserve, then look no further and reach out to Cheryl.”

“This was first time Timmy, our 5 year jackapoo, was ever away from home without us. Timmy is very much attached to us and we’re very protective of him. My mother-in-law just turned 100 and my wife arranged a large family gathering for a 4 Day Florida celebration where her mother resides. We scheduled a meet snd greet with Amy and Patrick, Timmy and ourselves. We immediately felt that Timmy would be in good hands and Amy and Patrick disappoint. We received pictures and videos daily of Timmy on walks, playing and at bedtime. They followed our directions for feeding and treats to the letter! We highly recommend Amy and Patrick if you are looking for loving and caring folks to take care of doggie while you are away. They’re the best!”

“Rachel and her family are so loving and warm bunch. They were absolutely wonderful with our golden Kobe. She was great about communicating when needed and sent us pics daily. He had a blast with Rachel’s kids and she even took Kobe on walks which was so important to us. Thank you Rachel!”

“With having an older dog that suffers with anxiety it’s hard to find someone to watch her. Judith and George were absolutely fantastic with her. She thrived at their house and I plan on using them again for when we go on vacations.”

“If you're at all apprehension about leaving your pets with a caregiver, message Michelle!!! This was our 1st experience with a stranger caring for our pets and we were extremely happy with Michelle and her family. She often sent photos and videos of our pets playing with her dogs and also her sweet little girls. They have a large fenced in back yard for the dogs to run and play. We would not hesitate to have Michelle care for our pets in the future. Thank you so much!!!”

“Another great stay for London. I even had to extend by a day and Lonnie was vert accommodating. Lonnie communicates and sends photos so I know London is happy and safe.”

“Vivian did a great job watching my dog! She gave very good updates throughout and it seemed like he had a blast with lots of time running around in her nice big yard. It is very clear Vivian loves animals and treats all the dogs she watches like they are her own.”

“Oh my goodness Katiuska was awesome. She took care of our pup like one of her own. We got updates and photos during our vacation and our London looked so comfortable and at ease. Would recommend to anyone, this was one of the best boarding experiences we have ever had.”

“Wonderful folks! I'm happy for daily updates and details on my kitties. They helped feel comfortable and allowed them to slowly open up. Definitely would rebook in the future if needed.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
