About: I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I currently have a French Bulldog, four cats, and a rabbit of my own, so caring for multiple animals with different personalities, routines, and needs is part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, providing walks and enrichment, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously. I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I provide a safe, comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. I’m experienced with medications, senior and special-needs pets, and will closely follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions. I will treat your animals as if they were my own while I am trusted with their care. About: Hi, I’m Shelby! I’m the founder and owner of Top Tier Dog Training LLC. Animals have always been a giant part of my life. I went to school and graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine and animal behavior. I founded Top Tier dog training in October 2021. I’ve been training dogs and placing service dogs ever since. I have about 10 years of handling and training experience. Back in the day I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter and worked for a dog training organization. I’m always working towards bettering myself and furthering my education as I believe there is always something new to learn. My goal is to provide a safe environment for dogs and their owners to teach you how to build a relationship with your dog the right way. Taking care of dogs is my full time job. I’ve created the perfect dog facility at my home to ensure your pups have the proper and safe space that they deserve. This means they will have care around the clock. I am happy to accommodate any preferences and any comforts or rules you provide your pet regarding furniture, treats, special care, etc. I do not have any children or pets of my own in my home currently.

About: I’ve been caring for and loving dogs my entire life, with extensive hands-on experience caring for large and senior dogs. I’ve volunteered over 1,000 hours at Damien’s Gift animal sanctuary, caring for animals with a wide range of needs. I’m comfortable with grooming, administering medications, and providing the patience and attention every dog deserves. I’ve opened my home to provide a temporary, loving place for many dogs when their owners faced homelessness, medical issues, or other difficult circumstances. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved dog in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as one of my own. Availability I work part-time from home so I’m usually here with the dogs. I’m home and available most of the time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I’m happy to work with you on your dog’s individual schedule and needs. Our Environment Your dog will stay in a peaceful, spacious 60-acre homestead at the end of a quiet road, surrounded by a creek and plenty of room to explore. I have a very secure, fully fenced large yard for safe outdoor time and plenty of space to relax. I have miles of walking trails through the woods, around the fields and down to the creek. Inside my home, I have several kennels available if needed, including a large 5’ x 10’ kennel and a 3’ x 5’ kennel. Most importantly, dogs are treated as part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision.
